Haunted Lands is a brutal retro action platformer developed by solo dev Alevgor. Step into cursed burial grounds, forgotten crypts, and ghost towns crawling with restless spirits and nightmarish creatures.

Choose from six unique heroes, each built for a different playstyle. Fight from a safe distance, crush enemies in brutal close combat, or experiment with abilities and artifacts to carve your own path through the horrors ahead. 

Across the Haunted Lands you’ll face dangerous locations, elite monsters, and powerful bosses, each demanding sharp reflexes and a different approach. Hidden secrets, deadly traps, and rare artifacts await those brave enough to search every dark corner.

About the game: 

Wall World 2 expands the beloved mining roguelite adventure with new biomes, enemies, and weapons, along with deeper upgrade systems and fresh mechanics, including horizontal drilling that changes how you explore the depths. Uncover lost technologies, fight zyrex lurking in the dark, and finally learn the secrets buried within the Wall.

• Infinite Waves of Enemies: Face never-ending waves of foes that grow tougher with each round. Test your skills and see how long you can survive!
• New Arena: Battle in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment. Each wave introduces new layouts and object placements to keep combat fresh and unpredictable.
• Camera Movement: The camera is no longer tied to the character, allowing you to freely navigate the arena.
• Leaderboards: Compete online and compare your performance with friends. Prove your worth and claim your spot as a top martial artist in Endless Mode!
• Progression Integration: Bring the skills you’ve unlocked in the main game, like wall runs and obstacle rolls,into the arena. The more abilities you’ve mastered, the better your chances of survival.
• Level Up: Enemies in Endless Mode won’t drop teeth or money, and you’ll receive card upgrades only after defeating each wave. This lets you focus entirely on refining your strategy as the challenge ramps up.

• Reworked the descriptions for each difficulty level to be clearer and more detailed.
• Lowered the unlock requirements for the skill A.K.M.E., making it easier to obtain.
• Fixed an issue with the Attack Queue not functioning correctly.
• Fixed a bug preventing the use of the letter E in profile names.
• Fixed a bug preventing the Eruption move from unlocking.
• Fixed issues with attacks not being correctly added to the Attack Queue in certain cases.
• Corrected an incorrect value in the unlock conditions for Nomad.
• Corrected an error in profile creation for some Steam Deck users.
• Resolved an issue where enemy drops sometimes fell out of reach.

• Added New Unlock Conditions: We’ve updated and simplified the unlock conditions for many moves to make progression smoother.
• Added Full Keyboard Control: You can now fully control the game using only the keyboard for a more flexible gameplay experience.
• Expanded Starting Moves: There’s now greater variety in the starting moves at the beginning of each run, allowing for a wider range of combos and numeric sequences.
• Addressed issues with incorrect unlocking of specific moves.
• Fixed issues where the Suit boss could freeze under certain conditions.
• Fixed a bug that sometimes caused the game to launch the basic tutorial instead of the intended level.
• Fixed a bug that could cause the character to freeze in certain situations.
• Fixed an intermittent bug affecting difficulty selection.
• Corrected an issue where push damage was not always recorded accurately.
• Resolved multiple localization issues.
• Various minor fixes for overall smoother gameplay.

• Added new attacks and moves for bosses and adjusted their attack timings to make boss battles more intense.
• Added completion status icons for 'Master' and 'Legend' difficulties. A trophy icon now appears next to each level’s button to help you track progress on these modes.
• Added a powerful new move, the ‘Grand Master’ strike, which unlocks after completing all areas on the ‘Master’ difficulty.
• Increased base damage for all weapon types to help you handle tougher foes.
• Extended full invincibility duration in ‘Golden Lotus’ mode and removed level-up interruptions while active. All accumulated level-ups will apply right after exiting ‘Golden Lotus’ mode.
• Fixed several issues affecting gamepad functionality on certain controllers.
• Fixed multiple minor bugs to improve overall gameplay.

For a cleaner interface, this feature (along with others like damage numbers and item highlights) can be toggled off in the settings.
• Unique Attack Animations for All Enemies. Every enemy now has its own unique attack animations, making combat feel more dynamic and immersive.
• Expanded Attack Directions. We’ve introduced new “upward” and “downward” attacks, giving you more control over where you strike. This adds depth to combat, letting you target enemies in different zones for a more engaging fighting experience.
• Improved Game Balance. We’ve adjusted the game’s balance to make the early stages more accessible for new players, while still offering a challenge for seasoned martial arts masters.
• Post-run Stats. We’ve also added post-run stats that show your run time, level, weapon and skill damage, as well as completed mini-quests.

• Combo Cooldown Timer. We’re adding a combo cooldown timer above the main character to help you track when the next attack chain begins, allowing for more strategic planning during fights. For those who prefer a cleaner interface, this feature (along with others like damage numbers and item highlights) can be toggled off in the settings.
