NEW: Pedestrians gamemode

Hit your targeted pedestrian to gain points! The more intoxicated you are the more points you will get!

New features

• Added a pedestrian gamemode, the amount of pedestrians is customizable in the gamemode settings
• Added a statistic in the career tab for pedestrians hit
• Added a special item that will unlock all buyable items

Improvements

• Cops can now pick up powerups
• Added invisible barriers on “Vertigo” so you do not fall at certain parts in the racing gamemode
• Joining or rejoining a game of “Cops & Drunks” that is in progress will make you a cop instead of a drunk
• Players will join the team with the lowest amount team members in “Capture the Flag”
• Some jump pads will no longer spawn in the racing gamemode
• The driving sounds should now sound better
• The chat should be more visible
• Trees are now lower quality to improve performance
• The “Fire wrap” displays better on shorter vehicles and with lighter colors equipped
• There is now less alcohol on “Vertigo”
• There are now icons for “random gamemode” and “random map” options
• Improved the “Loop the loop” models to remove shadow artifacts
• Fixed the “Space bundle” showing in the store more than it should
• Made it so there can’t be the same bundle two times in a row
• Moved a “Loop the loop” down on “Snowy Forest” to not block the car approaching it from certain angles

• Fixed alcohol and powerups floating in the sky when there is no bridge on “Floating Islands”
• Made it so the input buttons are always capitalized in game
• Fixed random gamemode loading gamemodes that are either made for developers or not randomized
• Made it so the statistic of how many games you have played only counts up when you have completed a game
• Made it so you can’t have the same achievement twice or more times at the same time
• Fixed the score of cops being a very large negative number
• Fixed challenges that require you to win in specific gamemodes being completed by winning any gamemode
• Made it so water on Dunes does not flicker anymore
• Made the win tracker count up for every gamemode

Introducing a new game mode, Simon Says

New Features

• There are now stats after each match to know how everyone did! (they are really cool)
• There is a death log instead of putting them in the chat (so it doesn't get cluttered)
• Added an option to turn off CTF overdosing when too drunk

Improvements

• Added a flaming hoop to snowy forest
• Made the racing easier in magical library by moving the globe higher
• Moved the flag spawn of the blue team in dunes
• Made all types of being destroyed in hot potato take away the same amount of points

Bug Fixes

• Fixed scanner not working sometimes
• Fixed going to the top of chat history when dying/going to lobby
• Fixed a racing spawn in sacred shrine that spawned you in the tires
• Fixed plenty of places where through was spelled wrong (oops)

New features:

• Dunes has been reimagined, the map now features much more content like an oasis, new trees, rocks and better graphics
• You now leave a track where you drive, the track moves grass aside and leaves an effect on grass, snow, and sand
• Added support wheels, you receive these by clicking the “Join Discord” button, if you are already in the Discord, just click it again and it will grant you the new wheels!
• Hot potato update: the person with the bomb now has the ability to scan
• Capture the flag update: when you get too drunk while carrying the flag, you will overdose
• Daily bundles are now shown in the mainmenu
• New career stats: players arrested, players destroyed with line, hot potato tags, and flags captured

Improvements:

• The giant in the small vs large gamemode now takes double the damage!
• The menu buttons now have a nicer color, allowing you to differentiate them from the dark backgrounds easier and adding more style
• Map names no longer use their development name in Steam and Discord presence
• Reworked super damage to be more consistent
• In little vs big gamemode, made it say that it is recommended for more people
• Made the grass material look better
• Improved how timers look in main menu

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed a bug where the siren of your cop would show up in wrong positions when wearing specific cosmetics
• Fixed a bug where if you touch someone in hot potato, the bomb didn’t pass
• Fixed map/gamemode saving issue (where it would not remember the last map/gamemode you played)
• Fixed some game modes not giving players wins in the lobby
• Fixed a glitch where you spawn without wheels
• Fixed size of roof in a tower in floating islands/mainmenu
• Fixed a bug where the timer went to zero for a second when dying in the racing gamemode
• Fixed the timer in racing not stopping after completing a race
• Fixed thumbnail rarity of cat ear headphones
• If the person holding the bomb destroys themself, they no longer only lose 10 points

There's lots of new features, improvements, and bug fixes in this update, so get ready!

New features:

• Player usernames, they appear above the car when you are close to a vehicle (and can see it)
• New “fastest time per map” for the racing gamemode
• The graphics of the game have been remade entirely
• We have added steam achievements (with more to come in the future)
• New career tab to visit the leaderboard, see your personal statistics and track your achievements
• Your total wins in a session are now visible to anyone in the playerlist
• Implemented Discord and Steam rich presence
• Made it so when you go through a checkpoint in the racing gamemode, you get a speed boost in the direction you are looking at (the strength is related to speed and look direction)
• New option to toggle push to talk
• New drunkenness option for all gamemodes

Improvements:

• Added a popup when a host leaves the game
• Redid map selector UI (looks so much better)
• Redid the sand on dunes so it looks less janky (and fixed issue where it was black on low graphics and from far away)
• When selecting racing gamemode, the variants on floating islands are hidden
• Disabled zooming on the car character when in different menus that also use the scroll wheel
• Reverted jump height back to the original height
• Added more bundles
• Added death a 10 point penalty if you die from not the bomb in the hot potato game mode

Small improvements:

• Made framerate limit be any fps
• Changed order of the gamemodes
• Renamed options to settings
• Made logo look less like “Intaxicated Driver”
• Added a camera effect when boosting
• New icon on homepage/task bar when playing
• The timer is now hidden before a race starts

• Made it so there is no player collision when spawning!! (this helps a lot)
