Thank you for your continued support!
Hello everyone!
We've been watching your streams, reading through bug reports, and following the discussions across all our channels. These insights help us spot issues, prioritize improvements, and make inKONBINI even better.
Based on your feedback, we've added an option to reset progress on the current shift and Korean language support. We've also improved how Makoto navigates around obstacles, making movement through the store smoother and more reliable.
As always, we've included a number of bug fixes and general improvements as well. These updates are available on Steam right now and will be coming to consoles very soon. Check out the full patch notes below!
Added “Reset Shift” feature Players can now reset their current progress on each night back to the beginning of the shift. “Reset Shift” option will appear in the pause menu only if the shift was started after the patch update
Improved Collision & Pathfinding - Players could occasionally get stuck in narrow passages, most notably between the Main Area and Storage Area as well as in several other spots, especially while carrying boxes - Makoto will now automatically navigate around nearby obstacles more smoothly, reducing the chance of getting stuck and making movement feel more natural
Fixed a bug on the third shift where a taxi could appear while Naomi and Makoto were commenting that there was no taxi in sight
Fixed an issue where improper text would be written down in Makoto's Notepad
Added full Korean language support
Fixed misspels and missing lines in Japanese, English, German, and Russian
Fixed Spanish localization for conversation with Satoshi outside the store on the 5th shift
Added "Gameplay Center Dot Reticle" feature to consoles - turning it on in Accessibility settings makes a small dot appear at the center of the screen that would help players better navigate and interact with objects
Thank you for your support and suggestions!
Hello everyone!
We’ve been listening to your feedback and addressing bugs - and now the first batch of improvements for inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories is finally here.
By popular demand, we’ve added an ability to WALK FASTER. We’ve also fixed a wide range of bugs and issues. You can check out the full patch notes below.
The patch is available now on Steam and will roll out to all consoles very soon!
Added an ability to WALK FASTER. To turn this on, please open Settings. In "GENERAL" under Accessibility switch "Sprint Button" to "On" and use a corresponding button during gameplay
Improved Boxes stacking
- now if you take the box with Toy Capsules or the box with Marketing Materials while holding a box with products in your hands, the products will not move to the stack of boxes in the Storage Room (since many players weren't able to find the products in the stack of boxes) - the product box will instead be placed in the nearest spot on the floor in the Main Area so that it's easy to find
- If you picked up Toy Capsule/Marketing Materials box while holding an empty box, it'll still go to the stack of empty boxes in the Storage Room
Fixed a critical bug where the order in which customers/delivery arrive would mix up if player pressed "I" button on a keyboard
Fixed an issue with Mystery Man on the sixth shift where the dialogue near Freezer wouldn't start properly resulting in a critical bug
Fixed a bug where Satoshi could arrive when the journalist asks to order taxi
Fixed an issue where event with recommending sale items to Mystery Man on the second shift was triggering after the payment is already completed
Fixed a bug causing Satoshi to remain in the store after checkout on 2nd and 3rd shift
Fixed a progression bug caused by Satoshi entering while selecting an extra bag for the Mystery Man on the 5th shift
In a conversation with Delivery Service on the third shift regarding ordering Gonseung Coffee text now says "order 1 box", because Makoto can't order 2 boxes that night. Text was changed for all languages
Improved object targeting responsiveness when interacting with the box of Capsule Toys
Fixed an issue where you could interact with Sink from behind the counter
Improved object targeting when interacting with the Vase on the sixth shift
Fixed an issue where controls would stop working if player started checking customer out and opening text log at the same time
Fixed an issue where players couldn't close Notepad after opening it during checkout cutscene before scanning products
Fixed an issue where players weren't able to interact with Chief on the 5th shift
Fixed an issue for slower Text Speed options where lines from some cutscenes would cut off before they were even typed, not allowing players to read the text properly
Fixed a bug where "Decrease/Increase" input would appear in Settings after changing Controller Style
Added Accessibility options in "Settings"
Fixed a bug where dynamic panel would constantly move after exiting interactions
Fixed a bug that caused achievement names to be displayed incorrectly (it showed achievement that you unlocked first during that play session)
Fixed misspels in English and Russian
Fixed an issue where Makoto could clip into one of the boxes in the Storage Area on the last night shift
Fixed an issue where some SFX effects (like Satoshi talking about great tea martial artists on the 2nd shift) were not linked to SFX slider which resulted in louder sounds than intended
Added additional names to Credits section
Fixed an issue with accessing DLC on Xbox
Added localized Achievement names for Xbox

We’ve been truly overwhelmed by the number of kind words about the music from both players and critics alike. Seeing so many people connect with the soundtrack meant a great deal to us, and we’re incredibly happy to finally share it properly.
The soundtrack features 12 original compositions blending nostalgic ’90s Japanese music influences with soft ambient melodies inspired by the peaceful rhythm of late-night store life.
We hope these songs will always remind you of the time you spent at Honki Ponki - the stillness of the store after hours, the passing customers, and those small, but meaningful stories that unfolded behind the counter.

What started as a small idea - a quiet convenience store filled with ordinary people, late-night conversations, and tiny everyday moments - has now become something we can finally share with all of you.
In a world that moves faster every day, we wanted to create a place where you could slow down for a little while. A place where small choices matter. Where brief encounters can quietly change someone’s life. Where even the smallest moments can stay with you long after they’re gone.
Over the past years, our team poured an unbelievable amount of care into this tiny store. Every shelf, every customer, every conversation, every strange little detail was handcrafted with love. And now, after this long journey, you can finally step inside.
We honestly can’t wait for you to meet Makoto, the regular customers, and discover the stories hidden between the aisles. There’s a Japanese phrase we often thought about while making this game: Ichigo Ichie (一期一会) — “one time, one meeting.” The idea that every encounter is unique and can never happen in exactly the same way again.
This release feels a little like that for us. Thank you for being here with us today. And thank you for giving our small konbini a place in your life.
See you on the night shift.
Welcome to the inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories FAQ. This page is here to answer common questions and help you decide if the game is right for you.
If you're unsure, we highly recommend trying our free demo first - it’s the best way to get a feel for the tone, gameplay, and storytelling. And if you still have questions after playing, take a look through this FAQ - we’ve put it together to give you a clearer picture of what to expect.
• How would you describe inKONBINI as a game?
inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories is a meditative convenience store clerk simulation with a strong story focus.
You step into the role of a store clerk - stocking shelves, keeping the konbini in order, managing deliveries, and helping customers as you listen to their stories. The core of the experience is this everyday rhythm of care and attention, where small actions slowly build meaning over time.
The game features a slow, relaxing pace centered on character-driven stories and deep, branching dialogue. Conversations can shift in subtle ways, with different outcomes and hidden possibilities that gradually unfold as you explore and pay attention to details.
Alongside that, there are a variety of gameplay systems and light mini-games that recreate the daily tasks of running a store, from organizing products to handling routine shop responsibilities.
All of this is wrapped in a nostalgic early-90s atmosphere, designed to evoke the quiet feeling of a time and place that feels both familiar and slightly distant.
• Which platforms can I play inKONBINI on?
inKONBINI is currently planned to release on PC and Mac, as well as on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X | S, and Nintendo Switch 1/2. We're considering adding some other platforms sometime in the future.
• Is inKONBINI compatible with Steam Deck?
Yes, it is! We’ve tested the game on Steam Deck, and it turned out to be a really special experience - there’s something uniquely cozy about playing it curled up somewhere comfortable.
• Are there plans for future updates and ongoing support?
We’ll be actively listening to your feedback and continuing to improve the game based on what we hear.
• Does inKONBINI offer replayability?
Yes - we designed the game with replayability in mind.
inKONBINI tells one complete authored story, so every player gets a clear and satisfying experience. But within that, you’re free to explore and experiment. The main plot doesn’t change, but the way you interact with customers does - and those small choices can lead to very different moments in their lives.
A lot of the story is optional, hidden in small reactions and side branches that activate under certain conditions. That’s where the replay value comes in. It’s also a simulation of customer behavior: as you play more, you start noticing patterns in how people shop, and learn how those patterns can gently influence what happens next. Because of that, returning to the game can lead you to discover new scenes and outcomes, with each character’s story unfolding in a few different ways - usually three to eight possible endings per character.
• Can I rebind control keys?
For now, you can change the controls by editing the Controls.ini file located in the game folder at: inKONBINI\\inKONBINI_Data\\Configs\\Controls.ini
We consider adding full in-game rebind option in later patches.
How do I report a bug?
If you’ve run into a bug or any kind of technical issue while playing, we’re here to help!
Please make sure to post your report in the Technical Support forum. This helps us keep things organized and makes it much easier for our team to track and fix issues quickly. Any tech-related threads created in General Discussions will be gently moved there.
We also have a Discord server, where our team can often respond faster and help you troubleshoot in real time - feel free to drop by! For any issues, please make sure to post them in the Suggestions and Feedback\ section on Discord so we can track and respond to them properly.
If you have any more questions, please comment below!

We’re excited to announce the inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories Original Soundtrack, featuring 12 tracks that capture the quiet rhythms, warmth, and hidden emotions of the store.
Before composing the OST, we spent time exploring Japanese pop music of the 1990s - studying its melodies, harmonies, and overall sound. Those influences became the emotional backbone of the soundtrack, guiding its mood and giving it a soft sense of nostalgia tied to that era.
Since some tracks are closely tied to specific story beats, we recommend listening to the OST after finishing the game.
inKONBINI Official OST - $9.99

This is something we’ve been quietly working on alongside the game - a small way to hold onto its world a little longer.
The Art of inKONBINI is a 30-page collection that brings together early ideas and finished illustrations. It’s not a strict behind-the-scenes book, but something warmer and more personal - a gentle archive of the process, the atmosphere, and the little details.
You’ll meet Makoto and the unexpected customers of Honki Ponki, explore the carefully crafted product packaging, dive into the surprisingly deep world of Yojoki Masters, and discover the many tiny thoughtful objects that bring the store to life.
Honki Ponki didn’t start out looking like it does now. In the book you’ll find early sketches and experiments as we worked to give the store its own quiet soul - right down to the train that gently passes by. More than anything, this book is about noticing the soft, ordinary moments - the ones that are easy to miss, but hard to forget.
The artbook will be available for purchase on Steam very soon. We’d really love for you to take your time with it and enjoy this small glimpse into our world.
Thank you, as always, for being here ❤️
We’re really happy to share that inKONBINI Demo is now available on Mac.
This is something we’ve wanted for a while - to make the store a place you can visit no matter what you’re playing on. And now, if you’re on Mac, you can finally step behind the counter yourself.
If you’ve been curious about inKONBINI, this is a great moment to drop in, take things slow, and see how it feels in your own space.
The Mac version is built to match the same quiet experience:
A calm night shift atmosphere
Small, everyday interactions
Stories that unfold gently, at your own pace
Right now, more than anything, we’d just really love for you to try it.
We also updated PC demo with stability, optimization and localization fixes, so both versions contain the latest changes to make your first shift as smooth as possible. If you do play on Mac, your feedback would mean a lot to us - even small thoughts, impressions, or things that felt off. It genuinely helps us make the game better and more comfortable for everyone.
So if you have the time, we hope you’ll stop by the store, spend a little while there… and tell us how it felt.
Thank you, as always, for being here 🧡

— The inKONBINI Team ☕
Since the demo launched, inKONBINI has turned into an even wilder ride than we expected.
The script has grown to around 120,000 words - about one-tenth the size of Disco Elysium, and roughly 1.5x longer than Undertale.Every time we think we’re almost done, we dig a little deeper… and somehow end up closer to the Earth’s core. Our vision was always to expand the game inward rather than outward - and at this point, it feels like we're crafting the most lovingly detailed convenience store in video game history. Here is a new trailer:
