A new update for In Trusted Hands is now live. This time, we tweaked the game’s pacing a bit, added new upgrades, and made digging through other people’s phones a little less stressful.
Well… as stress-free as that can possibly be...
New upgrades and Auto-Repair
We added several new upgrade levels related to repair speed.
Now you’ll be able to improve your repair skills and speed up the process. The shop will also offer upgraded tools that eventually unlock Auto-Repair.
Basically, the workshop should feel more convenient over time, and you’ll have more ways to speed up the routine stuff and focus on the most interesting part.
Clients now wait while you dig through their data :^)
Previously, checking phone data could feel a bit too rushed: you’re reading messages, looking through files, ordering parts, and the client’s patience timer is still ticking.
Now, when the phone data window is open, that timer is paused.
A client you’ve already finished working with will still leave, but the one you’re currently interacting with will stay while you’re checking their data. So you can calmly look through messages, photos, hidden files, and decide what to do with all of it.
Thanks to all the understanding clients!
Refused clients now add stress
Now, if you overcharge for a repair twice and the client refuses because of it, your character gains stress.
We want the workshop to feel a little more alive: not every visitor is easy to deal with.
Fixed “lost clients”
We also fixed an issue where some clients could get lost or behave strangely.
They should be a bit more collected now. Physically, at least.
We’re already working on future updates. We want to make the consequences of your decisions feel stronger and make individual client stories more noticeable.
Here’s what we’re planning:
individual endings for some characters;
ending slides showing what happened to clients after your decisions;
an ending gallery;
a reworked review system;
penalties for failing agency tasks;
more situations where your actions can seriously change characters’ lives.
Thank you to everyone who plays the game, leaves reviews, and helps us make it better.
See you in the workshop.
First of all, thank you all so much for spending time in the workshop! We’re genuinely happy to see so many people already diving into In Trusted Hands 💛
Second... ever since we pressed the release button, we’ve been constantly reading your feedback, bug reports, and discussions. And today, thanks to your first impressions, we’re releasing the very first update for the game!
Fixed an issue causing repeated customers
Improved clarity in several tasks and objectives
Added a hint for skipping post-repair phone animations
Scene transitions in dialogues are now smoother
Fixed various localization issues
As you can probably tell, most of these changes are focused on improving the overall feel of the game. A little more clarity here, a little less visual noise there.
But this update is also quietly laying the groundwork for larger additions in the future.
Things like improving the repair flow during later stages of the game... or revisiting how workshop reviews work altogether. But we’ll talk more about that a little later.
So this isn’t goodbye. Just see you again very soon.
And thank you for continuing to share feedback and help us make the game better <3
Hi everyone!
This is the update we’ve been especially excited to share with you. Let’s start with the big one…
In Trusted Hands launches on May 7!
It’s been a long road getting here: prototypes, reworks, doubts, and countless small decisions that slowly came together into something whole.
Throughout all of this, you’ve been there with us — playing the demo, sharing feedback, and spreading the word about the game.
And now we’re finally ready to show you the full experience. Very soon, you’ll be able to open your workshop, meet its visitors, and go through the entire story from beginning to end.
We’ve also updated the demo — this is one of the biggest updates so far.
Since the game is all about running a phone repair shop, it felt like the right time to finally let you look inside the devices.
You can now assemble and disassemble phones!
Carefully remove parts, see how everything fits together, and replace broken components along the way.
Over time, you’ll start remembering the process and get faster and more confident with each repair.
We’ve also updated the shop icons for spare parts, so they better match how the components look during disassembly.
And as always, we’re continuing to add new characters and their stories to make the world feel even more alive and diverse.
This will most likely be the last major demo update — from here on, we’re focusing on polishing the full version. So if you’ve already tried the demo, now’s a great time to jump back in. And if you haven’t yet — this is your moment to start!
That’s all for today. See you on May 7, and thank you for being with us ❤️
Hello!
We’ve released an update for the In Trusted Hands demo and are continuing to активно prepare for launch.
Here’s what’s new in the demo and coming to the full version: ⚙️ Added new characters with phones, along with personal data for existing ones ⚙️ Introduced a special goods shop where you can purchase interior items and other unusual things. Deliveries are handled by a new character — a fussy but oddly charming courier
👉 If you haven’t tried the demo yet, now is a great time to jump in and wishlist the game.
Thank you for your support! ❤️
Hi everyone, and especially those of you who’ve just discovered us during the festival 👋
Steam Next Fest is here, the demo is live, and there’s already a line of people with broken smartphones forming outside your workshop. Sounds like the perfect time to jump in and try the game!
The demo includes all core mechanics, as well as the first 6 days of the story.
If you’ve been following the game for a while, here’s what changed in the updated festival build:
We started adding animations to the characters. For now it’s just simple blinking, but it’s the first step toward making them feel more alive.
The UI now shows your romance level (relationship progress) with your potential girlfriend.
We optimized the messaging system a bit.
We’re continuing to refine the story and individual scenes.
We’re on the final stretch and planning a release soon after the festival. We’ll share the exact date a bit later, but the wait won’t be long!
So if you enjoy the game, please wishlist it and follow for updates so you don’t miss the launch.
Thanks for playing and supporting us. See you in the demo!
More news and updates outside Steam:
Hi everyone, we’ve got some good news!
We’ve started working with the publisher Spaghetti Cat. They’ll be helping us with marketing and promotion, which means we can focus on polishing the game and preparing for release.
It’s a big step for both our team and the project, and we hope it helps even more players discover In Trusted Hands.
So now you can follow the project updates on the publisher’s social media as well: https://taplink.cc/bright_spaghetti_cat
And of course, we’re joining Steam Next Fest. We’ll be updating the demo for the festival, so we’d love to see you there ❤️
That’s all for now. Thanks for being with us, and see you on Monday!
We’re continuing to polish the demo and have released a small but important update. The game now does a better job of explaining itself.
What we added and improved:
• Dialogues are visually cleaner. Characters in conversations are now larger and easier to read • Added an energy drain animation so you can clearly see how you get tired • Added stress growth visualization with no surprises and no “where did this come from?” moments • Fines for working under the table now come with clear visual indicators
And yes, we fixed a bug that sometimes allowed fines to be paid for free. That loophole is closed 🙂
Thanks to everyone playing the demo and sending feedback. It really helps us keep moving forward.
We’ve uploaded an updated version of the demo with several fixes aimed at making the experience smoother and more reliable.
What’s been fixed:
An issue where time could freeze in the evening before closing the shop
Cursor positioning problems in the in-game computer messages when playing with a gamepad
A bug affecting spare parts delivery when ordering in the evening
Thank you to everyone who played the demo and shared feedback — it really helps.
If you run into any other issues, feel free to let us know.
We’ve updated the main visual on the In Trusted Hands page.
We wanted it to better convey the game’s atmosphere and what it’s really about, and that moment when someone else’s data ends up in your hands.
Do you think we succeeded?
Were we able to show through the cover what actually happens in the game?
Hi!
We continue refining In Trusted Hands, carefully relying on your feedback and suggestions. Thanks to everyone who shared their impressions of the demo — it truly helps a lot.
What’s changed:
🕰️ Slower game pace
The gameplay is now calmer and more measured. We removed the feeling of constant rush.
🧭 Digital clock removed
It’s been replaced with an analog dial and a hand. No more sense of a countdown or time pressure.
📘 Expanded tutorial
The tutorial is now clearer and introduces the core mechanics more gently.
🐞 Many bugs fixed
Both minor and more noticeable ones. Stability and comfort are our top priorities right now.
⏳ Demo extended to 6 in-game days
We’re actively continuing development.
The project is about 99% complete, and the release is truly just around the corner.
The updated demo version with all these changes is already available.
Thank you for staying with us and helping make In Trusted Hands better ❤️
