Update: Market Square Trading, Crash Fixes & Better Loot Visibility!
Hello everyone! First off, a huge thank you to everyone who has been playing and leaving feedback. Your reports have been incredibly helpful in tracking down some of the more elusive bugs. Over the last few days, we've focused heavily on improving stability and adding several highly requested quality-of-life features.
New Feature: The Market Square
Have too much Wood but need Coins? We've got you covered!
Once you free the Traveling Merchant, you can now interact with the Market Square in your village.
Instantly trade your excess resources for the ones you need (Wood ↔ Stone ↔ Coins).
There are no limits to how many trades you can make, as long as you have the required resources!
Improvements: Loot Drops
Loot Clarity: Enemies now drop distinct, easily identifiable icons for Wood, Stone, and Gold Coins instead of generic drops, so you'll always know exactly what you're picking up!
Improvements: Potions & Consumables
Consumable Chests: You'll now occasionally find special consumable chests in the arena containing Poison Bottles, Honey Salves, and Healing Potions, allowing you to experience these mechanics even before fully upgrading your village.
Gameplay & Visual Improvements
Re-scaled loot and chest icons to fit naturally within the arena without obstructing gameplay.
Village Settings: Added a new option in the Settings menu to hide the explanatory text shown throughout the village, giving veteran players a cleaner interface.
Bug Fixes & Stability
Fixed a major physics-related crash that could occur during intense enemy waves while spawning gameplay elements.
Fixed a freeze/crash related to Level-Up AoE bursts that could occasionally occur if the player died at a very specific moment.
Fixed a persistent background crash that could occur more than 20 times during longer runs due to chest respawn timers continuing after a run had ended. Long survival runs should now be significantly more stable.
