● The reason for this update's large file size: We have extracted all shaders from asset bundles and pre-warmed them in batches before the game starts, which alleviates stuttering issues when players move. Since all asset bundles have been modified and need to be re-downloaded, this update is very large. If you prefer not to update, you can right-click the game icon in your Steam library, select "Browse local files", and double-click the game executable to launch directly. ● This update also fixes the bug where items in storage containers would disappear (only for new saves after this update). This time, we used an ID-indexing approach, completely resolving the issue caused by floating-point precision errors. This bug should no longer occur in the future. ● Since the last patch notes were released, we have been releasing hotfixes for critical bugs almost every day. Examples include: completely fixing the bug where items in storage containers would disappear (new saves only), the vehicle compass icon not showing when too far away, map generation errors caused by different world random seeds and initial settings, the death backpack disappearing bug, and many more. Although fixing these bugs slowed down the development of the merchant system, it has also made the game much more stable. Note: The merchant system is now about 88% complete. ● Added the function to switch hotbar items with the mouse scroll wheel (disabled by default, can be enabled in Game settings). ● Optimized the building system. You can now fine-tune the position of modules freely without worrying about them falling off after breaking alignment. For example, when placing a wall on a floor, pushing it forward will automatically snap to the edge of the floor, eliminating alignment issues or accidental drops.
