Full Steam announcements and update articles for this title.
The wait is officially over! Today, we are beyond excited to drop our biggest content update to date. We’ve been listening closely to your feedback and requests, and this patch is packed to the brim with highly anticipated community features, an unbelievable new property, brand-new mechanics, and a massive list of Quality of Life fixes!
To celebrate this milestone, we are also launching our first-ever 20% discount! Whether you’ve been waiting to jump in or want to tell a friend, there has never been a better time to start flipping.
You asked for survival-themed content, and we delivered in a big way. Welcome to our newest house for sale: a massive, multi-story subterranean bunker built for those who want to prepare for absolutely anything!
While exploring the deepest corners of the new bunker, you’ll come across something quite peculiar: an Elixir Tray holding mysterious potions. Once you locate and collect all 8 unique elixirs to fill the tray, it transforms into a magical Cauldron!
Once unlocked in the bunker, you can purchase the Cauldron directly from your tablet catalog and place it in any property to harness randomized potion powers whenever you like!
Unique Effects: Drinking from the cauldron grants either a Positive Effect (120 seconds duration) or a Negative Effect (15 seconds duration).
One Effect at a Time: You can only have one active potion effect at once.
Custom Look: Every single potion features its own unique visual design!
Every time you take a sip from the Cauldron, you are rolling the dice! You can only have one active effect at a time, and the duration depends on your luck:
Superhuman Strength: Dusky Purple Potion. Pick up items instantly! Your Grappling Hook grabs any object, and your hammer swings with devastating power.
Moon Jump: Amethyst Purple Potion. Jump significantly higher with vastly reduced gravity.
Infinite Jump: Iridescent Green Potion. Jump endlessly through the air without touching the ground.
Long Arms: Stormy Blue Potion. Your interaction and tool range is multiplied by 10.
Swift Movement: Icy Blue Potion. Double your walking and running speed.
Swift Hands: Sapphire Blue Potion. Your tools operate at double speed.
Confusion: Murky Pink Potion. You can't walk straight - your movement sways wildly left and right.
Icy Boots: Murky Magenta Potion. Move around like you’re slipping on smooth ice.
Curse of the Hare: Murky Purple Potion. You are forced to jump continuously until the effect wears off.
Breakneck Speed: Murky Turquoise Potion. Uncomfortably hyper-fast movement speed.
Heavy Legs: Murky Green Potion. Your movement speed is halved.
Heavy Hands: Murky Red Potion. Tool speed is cut in half.
We’ve moved accessibility options into a dedicated Accessibility tab and added several community-requested features to make your gameplay smoother and more comfortable:
Automatic Assembly of Items: You can now enable auto-assembly for a fee equal to 20% of the item's value. We know some of you were getting tired of assembling that shower for the 1,000th time!
Continuous Tool Operation: To help reduce hand strain, you can now toggle tool actions instead of holding down a button. Disabling the hold requirement turns the action into a toggle-click once to start operating continuously, and click again to stop. We’ve split this into two separate settings:
Hold to Clean: Applies to the mop, pressure washer, and window cleaner.
Hold to Mow Grass: Applies to the lawnmower and mechanic mower.
Don't Show Toilet Rat: A handy option for phobia relief! This allows you to hide the toilet rat that occasionally popped up to jumpscare you.
Many of you were getting tired of seeing the same old default loading view for your office, especially after spending dozens of hours fixing it up and making it look amazing!
To change that, we’ve added a new button under the Before/After tab on your tablet: "Make It Office Loading Screen". You can now pick your favorite photo to be displayed whenever your office loads up!
We’ve added 2 brand-new hand models to choose from, giving you even more ways to personalize your look and make your flipping experience feel truly yours.
Lighting in the Remaster was easily one of the most discussed and heavily criticized aspects of the game. It’s a tough challenge for us because the Remaster utilizes physically-based lighting, making it impossible to replicate the exact lighting behavior from HF1. This was actually one of the main reasons we chose to release the Remaster as a standalone title rather than a patch for the original game.
That said, we’ve put a lot of time into addressing your feedback and implemented a few key improvements: 🛠️ Adjusted Light Fixtures: We’ve re-configured lighting parameters and settings for a wide selection of lamps. Now, when you adjust the light intensity, the material's emission (the physical glow of the bulb or fixture) automatically scales alongside it. Many of you pointed out that TV screens were either too bright or too dark. You can now manually adjust their brightness to your liking! 🌈 Emissive Object Customization: Many items that feature emissive materials but aren't technically standard light sources (like neon signs) can now be tweaked using the modification tool. On top of that, neons have received a variety of new color options!
🎨 New Options in Visual Settings
We’ve added even more customization options to the Visual Settings menu, allowing you to fine-tune the game's visuals to your liking:
Gamma: Adjusts the brightness of midtones and enhances detail visibility in dark areas and shadows.
Lift: Controls the darkest parts of the image, giving you precise control over deep shadows and black levels.
Updated Workshop Options Popup: The Workshop confirmation popup will now only appear when exiting the settings menu if you've actually modified any Workshop options. Confirming changes requires a game restart, while clicking back will revert to the previous settings.
Custom Content Optimization: Optimized the process of adding custom content into the game.
Duplicate Item Fix: Fixed an issue where custom content was displayed multiple times in the Categorized View.
Corrupted Mesh Protection: Custom content with corrupted meshes will no longer be loaded, preventing game crashes.
File Size Limit Customization: You can now set a maximum file size limit (1–12 MB) for individual Workshop items. The game will skip loading any files that exceed this size, helping you reduce loading times and save RAM.
Loading Screen Indicator: Added a "Loading Mods..." status message on the loading screen to indicate when Steam Workshop items are being fetched. Please note: If you are subscribed to several thousand items, startup time may increase by a few minutes!
Here is the complete breakdown of visual tweaks, job bug fixes, lighting updates, and Workshop stability enhancements included in today's build:
Gamma & Lift Controls: Added Gamma and Lift options directly to the Visuals Settings menu.
Lightbulb Glow Calibration: Adjusted lightbulb visuals so they illuminate brighter during the day and less blindingly at night. Added a distinct bulb halo without burning out wall colors.
Material & Reflection Tweaks: Fixed missing glass shade emission on the Lucerna chandelier and wall lamp, corrected normal map orientation on Teav tiles, and updated tarnished roof/concrete weathering visuals on AloneHome.
Custom Light Emission: Added an Item Modifier option to adjust standard neon light intensity. Changing light intensity now dynamically updates material emission levels.
Emission Fixes: Fixed light emission intensity on TVs and replaceable lightbulbs.
Shadow Calibration: Decreased default shadow settings from 1.0 to 0.8 for smoother performance and cleaner contrast.
Light Fixtures Fix: Corrected lighting properties for Milia reflector and CeilingLamp01.
Family Residence: Removed an unintended wall-placement block in specific sections of the house.
"A Moment of Rest": Increased the total project job budget.
"13th floor": Stuck trash fixed
Material Fixes: Resolved missing material issues on the Molly object.
Object Duplication: Fixed game hard-locks caused by copying chandeliers with mountable lightbulbs. Unreplaced bulbs can no longer trigger duplication glitches.
Copying Lights: Fixed crashes previously triggered by copying customized light sources.
UI & Loading: Improved object highlight cutting/clipping across multiple items and fixed the loading screen visual issue on AloneHome.
Memory & FPS: Deployed further system-level memory optimizations and squashed unexpected FPS drops.
Workshop Settings Confirmation: Updated the Workshop options popup so it only prompts upon exiting settings if changes were made (requires restart to confirm, clicking back reverts changes).
UI Scaling: Fixed UI window scaling and gamepad navigation within GeneralSettingsView.
Custom Content Optimization: Streamlined loading routines for custom assets and fixed duplicate display bugs in CategorisedView.
Corrupted Mesh Protection: Custom content with damaged or corrupted meshes is now automatically skipped during loading to prevent crashes.
Modded File Resolution: Players can now adjust the resolution of loaded Custom Content files within a flexible 1–12 MB range.

Hotfix #10 is officially live, introducing a highly requested community feature alongside a major upgrade to our Steam Workshop! Because House Flipper is an intensive sandbox where almost every object is interactive, unoptimized Workshop models with massive file sizes can easily overload your hardware and cause the game to crash. We originally introduced the 3MB upload cap to protect your performance, but at the request of our players, we have managed to raise the maximum Workshop file size cap from 3MB to 10MB - giving creators more creative freedom while keeping your gameplay perfectly stable.
Freeplay House Rebuying: You can now purchase and flip the same house as many times as you want in Freeplay mode from the get-go, without needing to complete all jobs and houses first. (Classic mode behavior remains unchanged).
Steam Workshop Expansion: Increased the maximum file size cap for uploading Workshop items from 3MB to 10MB to better support high-detail creations.
Day/Night Controller: Added an extra refresh pass for night lighting and lamp intensity to ensure proper illumination when the dynamic Day/Night mode is disabled.
Heart items: Resolved missing markers used for identifying the room where an item is placed, as well as appraiser preference tags.
"A bathroom rush": Fixed a problematic bathroom door that couldn't be closed by the player.
Entresol Quest Fix: Resolved an issue tracking completion progress for the floor tiling quest in areas featuring an entresol/mezzanine floor.
Menu Lighting: Adjusted and balanced the lamp intensity within the main menu scene.
Fixed errors occurring during the placement of tiles and panels.
Fixed issues related to cockroaches.
Lima pouf: The shop preview no longer displays the previously selected item.
Water Walls: Replaced the legacy textures on Water Wall 1 and Water Wall 2 with a proper, dynamic water shader.
Night Sky: Added a subtle, realistic rotation effect to the stars.
Memory Optimizations: Implemented further memory management improvements to prevent unexpected game crashes.
Code Fix: Resolved a null reference exception crash occurring within the custom rendering pass.
Fixes & Tweaks:
- Fixed issues with pool rendering and grass clipping through the floors of house extensions.
- Entresol: Disabled the frame collider if the side is touching a wall - no longer blocks actions like wall painting.
- Fixed a bug on the makeHome map where magic orbs did not change the in-game time.
DayNight & Visuals:
- DayNightController: Improved day exposure intensity.
- Visuals: Changed the minimum value of the Brightness slider from 0 to -1.
(If you find the game too bright, you can now turn the brightness down even further)
Steam Workshop:
- Steam Workshop should now be functional on Mac.
- Improved item transparency.
- Added a notification informing players when the game detects items that exceed the Workshop size limit.
- The "Toggle Mods" option in the Main Menu can now be checked/enabled even if you don't have any items in your directory.
Optimization:
- Further memory optimizations and FPS drops.
If you haven't picked up the Remastered Collection yet, the newly launched Steam Summer Sale is the perfect opportunity to save a massive amount on your upgrade. As a reminder, your price for the Remaster automatically drops lower at checkout based on how many major legacy expansions you already own in your library.
This is where you can double-dip on savings: the Steam Summer Sale has officially started right now, bringing huge discounts across almost the entire classic House Flipper family! Our ultimate all-in-one package for the original game - The Flipper Bundle (featuring the base game and its expansions) - has just received a massive extra discount, jumping from its usual 15% to 55% off. Buying these original DLCs at a deep discount right now to green your garden or renovate coastal mansions is the ultimate way to trigger that much bigger veteran loyalty discount for the Remaster at checkout!

Hotfix #9.0 is now live, delivering a massive optimization pass for the Steam Workshop, giving you total control over your Before/After photo storage, adding fresh item variants, and resolving several prominent physics and mapping bugs.
For those of you with massive custom item libraries, this update is a game-changer. We have completely overhauled how custom assets are managed:
No More Overload Crashes: Fixed the critical game crashes caused by loading an excessive number of Workshop items simultaneously.
Blazing Fast Load Times: Modded furniture and items will now load into your game significantly faster.
Upload Cap: To ensure long-term stability and performance across the community, the maximum file size for uploading new Workshop items is now capped at 3MB.
Menu Cleanup: Moved the Workshop configuration settings from the Gameplay tab over to General Settings for a more logical UI layout.
High-resolution photos can eat up a lot of storage space, and not everyone wants to watch the full recap after every single project. We’ve added three highly requested Quality of Life toggles to the Before/After Photo System:
Toggleable ShowReel: You can now completely disable the cinematic ShowReel at the end of a job or house sale. Turning this off also stops the game from generating and saving unnecessary textures to your portfolio.
Resolution Settings: Added a dedicated option to manually select your preferred resolution for Before/After photos.
Storage Saver: Added an option to completely disable saving Before/After photos to your local portfolio, saving you precious hard drive space.
Day/Night Cycle Adjustments: When the dynamic day/night mode is disabled, you can now manually select and lock your preferred time of day.
Doors: The Interiuka, Kameio, Ianua, and Capulus door models are now available in 8 unique variants each.
Snowman Cabinets: Expanded the selection with additional wood texture variants.
Placement System Precision: Fixed a physics bug where items could slightly overlap when placed side-by-side, which previously caused accidental gaps, alignment holes, and clipping issues between furniture pieces.
Family Residence Map: Fixed the faulty positioning of the garage door that caused it to incorrectly clip through the ceiling and bleed into the first-floor living space.
Jump Ropes: Fixed a bug where switching a jump rope to its hanging version made it impossible to change its visual variants afterward.
Carpet Rendering: Resolved a visual rendering glitch affecting specific carpet variants.
Cabinet Cataloging: Added missing item keys and catalog photos for the dark material versions of three specific cabinets.
Plushie Polish: Fixed a minor typo in one of the collectible plushie names.
Memory Stability: Tracked down and plugged several minor memory leaks while optimizing general system resource management for smoother gameplay over extended sessions.
Tiling & Paneling: Fixed issues with tiling and paneling. Everything should now work correctly without glitches.
Optimization: We've implemented further memory (RAM) and FPS optimizations for a smoother and more stable experience.
DayNightController:
Night sky improvements – clouds are now hidden during the night.
A star map is now displayed instead, making the night views more atmospheric.

First things first: hands up, we owe you an apology. While Hotfix #7 was intended to smooth things out, it accidentally introduced a critical bug that caused massive memory bottlenecks and startup crashes - especially for those of you with extensive custom item libraries. We saw your reports, got to work, and are in the process of overhauling the system.
But before we drop that massive update, here is what we’ve hammered out today:
One of the most satisfying perks in your upgrading toolkit is the ability to tile, panel, or demolish multiple walls at once. It saves time and makes large projects a breeze - when it works correctly. Recently, we noticed a frustrating issue where this tool was getting a bit too enthusiastic.
When tiling, paneling, or demolishing, the multi-wall selector would accidentally pull in surfaces completely hidden from your direct line of sight, meaning it would select walls in adjacent rooms behind you. If you were happily tiling a bathroom or knocking down a specific partition, the game would secretly apply those same tiles - or completely tear down a structural wall - in the bedroom or living room right on the other side!
This didn't just ruin your aesthetic vision and accidentally destroy your room layouts; it actively tanked your job progress. Because the tool modified or destroyed walls in an entirely different room, it would overwrite that room's specific requirements. Whether it was wiping out a finished wall or knocking down a boundary that was supposed to stay, it instantly decreased your completion percentage and made jobs impossible to finish without tedious rebuilding and back-tracking.
With Hotfix #8, we have completely rewritten the selection logic. The tool now strictly respects your line of sight and room boundaries, ensuring your hammer and finishes stay exactly where you intended them to be!
Crash Resolutions: Identified and fixed multiple unexpected crashes reported by players to improve overall client stability.
Weedhouse Environment Optimization: Introduced a performance optimization pass to the Weedhouse property to smooth out frame rates. To drastically reduce memory overhead and prevent hardware-related crashes on this map, intensive terrain detail rendering has been disabled for specific hardware profiles.
Light Customization Popup: Fixed the light editing interface popup to ensure it now works flawlessly when using gamepads and controllers.
"A Preschool Power-Up": Corrected the default rotation settings for desk lamps in this mission so they no longer face the wrong way upon spawning.
Wall Customization: Added painting and tiling functionality to several specific walls across various properties that previously lacked these options.
Video Popups: Implemented minor behavior and rendering corrections for in-game tutorial and video popups to ensure seamless playback and responsive menu interactions.
Unique Item Names: Updated item keys and localized names for several objects that previously shared duplicate or identical names, making catalog navigation and searching much clearer.
Right alongside the structural fixes, we are also rolling out Hotfix #8.5, which focuses entirely on improving the game's atmosphere, lighting, and overall visual comfort based directly on your recent feedback.
For starters, we have dialed back the overall sun intensity so it’s much less overwhelming, and we applied general corrections. More importantly, we’ve added a brand-new Tint Intensity slider to the graphics options, helping you achieve much more natural, realistic colors on screen.
💡We have now updated the game’s default options to launch in Neutral mode to give you a cleaner, more realistic visual experience right out of the box. However, if you preferred the warmer look from before and want to switch back to how things were, you can easily change the profile back to Classic in your graphics settings!
We know our macOS community is still waiting on a dedicated stability fix. You can expect that patch to drop in the coming days!

Updated 19th June 2026, 9:30 PM UTC.
Hey Flippers. Unfortunately, Hotfix #7 introduced critical errors for players using legacy Workshop items, resulting in game crashes or items suddenly disappearing. We are truly sorry for the frustration this has caused right before the weekend. We are already working on a proper fix.
If your game is currently crashing on startup, you must use the Registry Rescue Guide located further down in this devlog. Following those steps to change the custom content values to 0 is currently the only workaround to safely launch your game.
To allow your saves to load without crashing, this workaround will automatically "sell" the buggy custom items from your properties which will unclog your save files. The mod files themselves remain safely on your hard drive, and will be ready to use again once we deploy a patch. We deeply apologize for the situation and appreciate your patience while we fix the core issue.
Original devlog:
We've got some seriously HOT stuff in today's hotfix! We're hiding from the heatwave by staying late to deliver important improvements right before the weekend.
🍎🍎🍎
A quick heads-up and our sincere apologies to our macOS players: we had to temporarily pause Hotfix #7 for Mac due to a few unexpected bugs caught in final testing. We need a few more days to squash them properly and ensure 100% stability. We are really sorry to keep you waiting, but we aim to have the Mac update ready for you next week. Because of this, today's patch and the Workshop guide below currently apply only to Windows.
🍎🍎🍎
Later in this devlog, we dive into legacy Steam Workshop items. We're actively building a brand-new modding tool, but we know many of you use our temporary workaround to enjoy classic items. If you've gone a bit overboard with mods and are facing startup crashes, we’ve prepared a step-by-step tech rescue guide to get your game running again!
Workshop Overhaul: We've rolled out a major update to how custom content is handled!
Added separate toggles for Mods and Legacy Workshop (disabled by default for new players; returning players will retain their previous preferences).
Optimized item loading to clean up memory usage-only active/used items will be loaded.
Fixed the category view within the Workshop tab.
Fixed the Recent Items Tracker functionality for Workshop items.
Implemented general optimizations for overall custom content management.
Pool Excavation: Fixed an irritating bug that allowed players to walk on invisible air colliders over the "Muline" and "Kreas" pools while burying them.
Dine Out Achievements: Resolved a code issue that was preventing Dine Out DLC achievements from unlocking properly.
Steam Achievements: Fixed the missing or incorrect icon for the "Senior Estate Agent" achievement on Steam.
Planting Stability: Fixed a rare background error that could occur when interacting with ground holes for planting.
Recent Items Bar: Fixed an issue where the Recent Items bar would immediately close or glitch out when trying to load required items for a quest.
Minimap Visibility: Fixed a bug where cobwebs were failing to appear on the minimap.
Plant Holograms: Finally squashed the stubborn rendering bug with plant holograms! The shaders have been completely reworked to ensure the planting outlines display correctly, just like in the original game.
Photomode Glitches: Fixed an issue causing extreme visual artifacts and post-processing explosions when using Photomode at night.
Luxury DLC Pools: Adjusted the water material properties, so the swimming pools no longer emit an unnatural glow.
Day/Night Cycle: Fixed an issue where the environment's lighting wouldn't refresh correctly when manually changing the time of day in-game.
Oberon Carpets: The "Oberon" carpets now correctly display all available variants across all sizes.
Leather Sofas: Improved and fixed the available variants for leather sofas.
Toilet Paper: Added missing variants to the toilet paper item.
Jump Ropes: Fixed a background error caused by missing data on jump rope items.
Marv Cabinets: Fixed the rendering issues affecting "Marv" cabinets.
In House Flipper Remastered Collection, we’ve given you the option to use Steam Workshop items from the first game. Starting from this update, these options are disabled by default for new players (and on fresh installations). For returning players, your previous settings will remain unchanged. You can toggle these options at any time in the Settings - Gameplay menu.
Please keep in mind that our team is actively working on a brand-new, dedicated modding tool tailored specifically for the Remastered Collection! Until it is fully ready, we wanted to give you the ability to enjoy your favorite classic items from the original game as a temporary solution.
Using Workshop items in-game can heavily impact your RAM usage. Since they are third-party content created by the community, we have no control over their optimization. The game loads all subscribed items into your computer's memory right at startup, so if you are subscribed to a massive amount of items (especially large ones weighing dozens of megabytes each), your computer might simply run out of memory. Additionally, toggling this option on during gameplay might result in quite long loading time, as the game has to generate all those items immediately.
As a result, the game might crash before you even reach the main menu, leaving you unable to disable the custom content toggles in the settings.
⚠️ WARNING: When using the Registry Editor, please be careful and do not modify any other values besides the ones listed below! Accidentally changing or deleting system registry keys can cause irreversible damage to your operating system or break your game entirely. Proceed with caution and edit at your own risk!
If your game crashes on startup, please check the amount of your subscribed items. If you are running the game on a lower-spec machine, please be aware that you shouldn't use too many custom items (aim for tens rather than hundreds). If the crash prevents you from accessing the settings menu to disable them, you must manually reset the mod toggles in your system. Here is the precise procedure:
Press the Windows + R keys on your keyboard simultaneously.
In the "Run" window that appears, type regedit and click OK.
The Registry Editor will open. On the left side, navigate through the folders to exactly this path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Frozen Way\\House Flipper Remastered Collection
On the right side, look for the following two entries. (Note: Depending on your previous settings, you might only see one of them - that is normal). Double-click on the entry name and change its "Value data". Entry names to find and change “Value data” to 0: settingsRemaster.legacyWorkshopItems_\ settingsRemaster.allowImportFromModsDirectory_\
Click OK and close the Registry Editor.
Your settings are now reset, and the game will launch normally without attempting to load the custom content. Remember to unsubscribe from some of the heaviest mods on Steam before turning these options back on!
If you haven't picked up the Remastered Collection yet but already own DLCs for the original House Flipper, you can get the game at a significantly lower price! Your price will automatically drop at checkout based on how many major expansions you have in your library.

We know the recent bugs with grass mowing and gravel progress have been blocking your 100% completions, so we are dropping Hotfix #6 right now to tackle this exact issue.
While getting your landscaping tools working properly simply couldn't wait, we also managed to sneak in a few extra tweaks - like permanent chainsaw access, fairer appraiser feedback, and UI fixes.
Fire up those mowers and enjoy your freshly cut lawns!
Landscaping Progress: Fixed an issue where grass mowing and gravel clearing progress was not calculating or tracking correctly, which previously prevented players from reaching 100% completion on yard work quests.
Variant Tool Constraints: Fixed a bug that allowed players to modify mountable items using the Variant Tool before the assembly process was fully completed.
Chainsaw Availability: The chainsaw is now permanently unlocked by default for all players. The unnecessary unlock notification popup has also been removed.
Appraiser Feedback: Adjusted the thresholds for appraiser reactions in the house selling menu, making it a bit more achievable to secure 100% positive comments from buyers.
3D Item Preview: Corrected the rendering settings in the 3D item viewer. Animals and standard items are now processed differently, removing unwanted post-processing effects on animals to prevent them from appearing overexposed.
If you haven't picked up the Remastered Collection yet but already own DLCs for the original House Flipper, you can get the game at a significantly lower price! Your price will automatically drop at checkout based on how many major expansions you have in your library.

Hotfix #5 is officially live and ready for download. This patch addresses a few very specific issues reported by the community over the last 24 hours, focusing on a frustrating house-purchasing lock, and multi-quest item snapping bugs.
House Browser Fix: Resolved a critical issue where the "Buy House" button would incorrectly remain locked/disabled in the House Browser window even when a discount was active and funds were sufficient.
Perks View Visuals: Streamlined the tablet's Perks View by removing the problematic background graphic and replacing it with a solid blue background for a cleaner, more readable look.
Laptop Descriptions: Polished the refreshing logic for house descriptions on the laptop to completely prevent text from overlapping.
Clean Exit: Fixed a rare bug where the job map popup window would briefly flash on the screen right as you were exiting the game.
Multi-Quest Grid Snapping: Fixed a bug where the newly introduced quest item grid snapping mechanic would fail to snap objects correctly if a single job contained multiple identical placement quests.
Before/After Photo Culling: Fixed a rare issue where objects would randomly cull out during Before/After sequences. The system now dynamically forces culling to turn off before each individual snapshot, rather than just once at the beginning of the photo series.
Terrace House Water: Fixed and updated the rendering properties of the water material on the Terrace House environment.
Forgotten Heritage: Corrected the positioning for both balcony doors in the upstairs bedroom. Additionally, resolved an issue with locked downstairs doors and ensured they properly trigger their opening sequence during the intro cutscene.
Love in a Cup: Fixed the incorrect default position of the very first Before/After camera setup.
Grid Placement Tool: Fixed an issue where an item's rotation could occasionally reset to default under specific conditions while using the grid layout system.
Changelog Navigation: Resolved a multi-platform control bug that prevented players from closing the changelog window using a controller or assigned button on both Steam Deck and PC.
Tablet Polish: Fixed a visual issue where object selection highlights would awkwardly show through or remain visible on the screen while navigating the tablet menu.
Habim Containers: Resolved visual issues affecting Habim container models.
Elle Armchair: Fixed an issue with selecting or displaying specific material and color variants for the Elle armchair.
If you haven't purchased the Remastered Collection yet and you already own DLCs for the original House Flipper 1, you can grab the game significantly cheaper! Your price will automatically drop at checkout based on how many major expansions you have in your library.

It’s time to shine! As you might have already noticed, we've just added Steam Community Items to the House Flipper Remastered Collection! On top of these shiny new goodies, this update also brings some important patch notes filled with crucial fixes and game improvements.
You can now earn badges, emoticons, profile backgrounds, and trading cards. And don't worry if you've already spent some time in the game - your past playtime counts toward card drops, so you might even receive a few right away!
Badges play a crucial role for our most active and dedicated players, showcasing the time and effort spent in the game. After a few brainstorming sessions, we crafted this set of badges featuring a clear progression path and some delightfully quirky names.
We know that for many of you, trading cards are a huge part of the Steam community experience. We’ve prepared 9 brand-new cards that highlight our most iconic DLCs and locations. Happy collecting!
We've also put together 6 emoticons you can send to your friends when discussing house flipping (and other important stuff). The main theme revolves around a hammer and paint brush, capturing useful emotions and expressions for your day-to-day chats. We hope you love them!
June is the perfect month to flip your profile and get it ready for the summer! For those of you with a distinctive eye for design, we have great news: 5 elegant profile backgrounds are now up for grabs. They follow the main themes of our various DLCs, so everyone should find something that suits their style.
An update releasing with this devlog is a certain highly requested feature - grid snapping! During jobs in which you have to place items in specific spots, you will now be able to turn on the grid and have the item snap into place instead of needing to slowly move it into place. It should definitely improve your overall flipping experience!
Alongside the new grid snapping system, we've also pushed an update addressing several community-reported bugs and visual issues:
Before/After Photo Summary
Fixed a bug causing terrain or items to go missing or not render on "before" screenshots.
Corrected night lighting rendering for "before" shots.
Applied general quality and visual improvements for "after" photos.
Gameplay & Fixes
Universal Cooker: Fixed a bug where spawned items would completely disappear after reloading a save.
"Iron Retirement" Job: Resolved an issue where a specific bush blocked grass unrolling and cutting mechanics; this object can now be properly targeted and sold.
Visuals & Environment
Room 404 Apartment: Improved overall scene lighting by adjusting the light range and intensity.
Fire Effects: Upgraded and enhanced the visual intensity and rendering of fire.
Halloween House: Adjusted and changed lamp colors for a better, more appropriate atmosphere.
Moon House: Verified that the lighting configuration changes now work properly.
Items & Furniture
Visual Fixes: Resolved visual and rendering issues with the Imi chair and sofa, Ceramic tiles (Lime), and the Gustum kitchen set.
UI & Laptop
Laptop: Fixed an issue causing text to overlap on the house description screen.
As you may have noticed, we've been pushing out a lot of major changes and rapid-fire updates over the past few days. Moving forward, we're going to slow down the pace of these smaller hotfixes. Instead, we'll be focusing our efforts on less frequent but larger updates packed with bug fixes, tweaks, and overall game improvements.
If you haven't purchased the Remastered Collection yet and you already own DLCs for the original House Flipper 1, you can grab the game significantly cheaper! Your price will automatically drop at checkout based on how many major expansions you have in your library.

Our team isn't slowing down! Even though yesterday brought a massive wave of fixes, optimizations, and deep visual upgrades, we are already back today with another update. We are continuously tracking your feedback, watching your streams, and hunting down bugs around the clock. We might be a compact crew, but we are giving it our absolute all to ensure your flipping experience is as smooth and satisfying as possible. Today's hotfix focuses heavily on mechanical responsiveness, workflow speed, and crucial memory optimization.
We know that speed and precision are everything when you’re in the zone, redesigning a massive property. That’s why we have completely overhauled the Duplicator Tool to make your workflow lightning-fast!
First, we stripped away unnecessary background animations, making item cloning incredibly snappy and responsive. No more awkward pauses - just pure, instantaneous duplication. Furthermore, duplicated items will now perfectly inherit the exact rotation of the original object, saving you from constant realignment.
But that’s not all! We’ve added a brand-new secondary mode to the Duplicator Tool. By simply aiming at an item and scrolling your mouse wheel, you can switch modes to instantly open that exact object directly inside your tablet's shop. If you run out of an item or need to look up its alternative variants, you are now just a scroll and a click away!
Below is the complete breakdown of the fixes, mechanical balances, and stability overhauls included in today's deployment:
Duplicator Speedup: Optimized duplication logic by removing redundant sell animations, resulting in highly responsive and instantaneous cloning.
Shop Integration: Added a secondary mode to the Duplicator tool (accessible via mouse scroll) allowing players to instantly open the targeted item's catalog page in the tablet shop.
Rotation Preservation: Duplicated items now spawn with the exact same rotation alignment as the original object.
Duplication Softlock Fix: Resolved an issue where holding down the Left Mouse Button immediately after duplicating caused a broken duplication loop that rendered the item non-interactable.
Variant Switcher Interaction: Fixed a bug where objects cloned via the Duplicator tool could not be picked up after using the Variant Switcher on them.
Pie Menu Safety Check: Disabled item pickup interactions while the Pie Menu is actively open to eliminate a major source of placement and UI glitches.
Shovel Conflict Resolution: Fixed a bug preventing players from using the Regular Shovel if they had equipped the Snow Shovel in a previous scene, and vice-versa.
Grappling Hook Recovery: Fixed an issue where putting away the Grappling Hook mid-pull broke the tool's mechanics until the game was completely reloaded.
Tool-Swap Refinement: Restructured the item-pickup safety lock so it now strictly applies when swapping between the Duplicator and an Empty Hand (and vice-versa), preventing unintended interaction freezes.
Universal Light Adjustments: Extended the ability to modify light beam intensity to items that do not feature material variations (such as specific halogen lamps, TV screens, etc.).
Smart UI Verification: The Light Source modification popup now actively verifies if a change to the lighting setup has been made before unlocking the confirmation button.
Halogen Mini Fix: Fixed targeted behavioral and rendering bugs tied specifically to the Halogen Mini lighting fixture.
Steam Workshop Protection: Temporarily blocked the Variant Selector tool from interacting with custom Steam Workshop items to prevent layout data corruption.
Z-Fighting Resolution: Fixed an issue on the Luxury Printing House Studio (For Sale) property where specific decals overlapped incorrectly, creating a flickering texture glitch.
Turtle Aquarium: Fixed a visual bug causing the Turtle Aquarium asset to randomly flicker white.
Holographic Trees: Applied an additional targeted stabilization fix to the rendering behavior of holographic tree variants.
Wallpaper Stacking Fix: Resolved a bug that permitted players to incorrectly place Zazos wallpaper directly on top of an identical, already existing wallpaper layout.
Major Memory Leak Cleanup: Implemented comprehensive memory optimizations within the Texture2dCacheSystem, SummaryCamera, CameraCapture, BeforeAfterSummaryView, and TextureData systems.
LOH Bypass: Re-engineered internal camera capturing and summary views to utilize NativeArray structures, safely bypassing the Large Object Heap (LOH) and eliminating large, unnecessary memory allocations.
Perk Graphics: Deployed an additional fix to resolve missing skill/perk graphics on the tablet layout for affected systems.
Backend Build Deployment: Optimized internal Steamworks account integration protocols to ensure quicker, smoother automated updates moving forward.
Progression & Balancing:
Fixed progression tracking for grass and gravel tasks.
Slightly reduced completion requirements for better game balance.
Graphics & Rendering:
Fixed rendering issues with gravel edges.
Improved water visuals in the fountain.
Fixed a bug where surrounding objects would remain transparent after finishing an assembly task.
Architect Tool & Building:
Fixed an issue where roofs on the "Many Generations House" (and similar structures) blocked building with the Architect Tool.
UI:
Fixed input/placement issues with the minimap and grass rolls.

Below is the complete list of fixes, stability improvements, and tweaks we’ve packed into this update:
Visual Settings Screen: Added the brand-new "Visuals" menu screen in-game to allow deeper visual customization.

Item Customization Fix: Resolved an issue breaking variant selection on items that feature only a single material slot.
Garden Materials Overhaul: Upgraded dozens of garden materials with brighter, significantly more natural color tones.
Uninhabited House: Fixed a roof collider bug that previously prevented players from stepping up to the top floor.
Chainsaw Addition: Equipped players with the chainsaw tool specifically for the 'A Moment of Rest' and 'Happily Ever After' jobs.
Camera: color options take effect immediately, and default settings restore on exit.
Tablet: Implemented a temporary fix for the background display within the Tablet's Perks View.
Ginny's Garden Mission: Fixed an issue to ensure the proper ending logo displays smoothly upon job completion.
Holographic Tree: Corrected the intensity and glow settings for this specific cyberpunk asset.
Fountain Water: Enhanced the visual presentation and overall rendering of fountain water.
PerimaCeiling Light: Applied targeted behavior corrections for the PerimaCeiling light fixture.
TV Screen Upgrades: Increased the display brightness and visual intensity on all television models.
Graphics: Optional experimental support for DirectX 12 (may be unstable)
Streamlined Exit: Disabled pop-up advertisements when exiting the game for a faster, cleaner close.
Fixed an "infinite loading" bug caused by an inactive camera in "Camera Before/After" mode.
Changed backup directory (no longer saves in "My Documents").
Fixed overexposure items in shop view.
"Lawn and Order" Job: Fixed a gap between tiles that prevented proper placement of wide grass strips.
Top-Down View: Resolved input conflict where rotating 90 degrees and changing floors were mapped to the same controller input.
Disabled grass rendering while submerged in pools.
Fixed an incorrect shader causing walls to be invisible while mowing.
Blueprints are now visible when held in the Architect Tool.
Planting now functions correctly without causing partial regrowth.
Fixed incorrect appraiser comments regarding damaged walls.
Fixed a bug in House Halloween where plastering was not working correctly.
Vampire Castle: Fixed day/night cycle and repaired the basement ceiling.
Man Cave: Fixed fuse box culling issue.
Small memory optimizations.
Before/After Photos: Fixed visual artifacts appearing in screenshots.
Minimap: Fixed an issue causing the map to glitch or display incorrectly at certain zoom levels.
Categories: Fixed categorization for certain items.
Sandi Kitchen Set: Fixed various issues.
Ava Bookshelf: Fixed visual issues.
Fireplace: Fixed a bug where the fire effect was missing.
Beds: Fixed visual glitches appearing after making the bed.
Tiles: Fixed tiling/texture alignment issues.
Trees: Fixed a bug that allowed players to duplicate trees intended for cutting.
Pools: Applied a potential fix for pool variants.
To give you even greater creative control over your renovation environment, we've introduced a brand-
new settings category called "Visuals"!
This dedicated tab allows you to fine-tune the game's presentation directly to your personal preferences and display setup.
Whether you want a high-contrast, vibrant workspace or a softer, warmer atmosphere for late-night flips, these settings have you covered.
Default settings:
Lower values of saturation, contrast, color temperature, and shadow intensity:
An even lower saturation value:
We’ve noticed some confusion among players regarding how to change the color and intensity of lights in the Remastered Collection. This feature is already fully available in the game, but since the interface setup is a bit different, we want to walk you through exactly how it works, step-by-step:
Open your Pie Menu and select the Variant Selector Tool.
Click on the light source that you want to edit.
This will open the customization interface:
On the right side: You will see the standard item customization menu, allowing you to change the material and color of the lamp's physical parts.
On the left side: You will see the dedicated Light Editing Menu. This is where you can freely change the actual color of the light beam and adjust its intensity to fit your design!
It’s that simple to create either a crisp, bright modern office or a warm, moody living room layout. Check out the clip below to see the exact steps in action:
While you are adjusting your display preferences, we highly recommend heading over to Settings -> Graphics -> Upscale Quality and ensuring it is set to at least 80%. The options below this threshold are strictly meant for very low-end PCs. Keeping it at 80% or higher will give you the best balance of clean, sharp visuals without hurting your game's performance!
If you haven't purchased the Remastered Collection yet and you already own DLCs for the original House Flipper 1, you can grab the game significantly cheaper! Your price will automatically drop at checkout based on how many major expansions you have in your library.

Before making your purchase, please make sure to double-check that your PC meets the required system specifications listed on our store page. Because the Remastered Collection runs on a completely modernized and upgraded engine, its system requirements are notably higher than those of the original House Flipper 1!
Minimum:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10 or later versions, 64-bit
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: RX 6500 8GB | NVIDIA GTX 1660 or equivalent performance & VRAM
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 40 GB available space
Additional Notes: SATA SSD
Recommended:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 11 or later versions, 64-bit
Processor: Intel i5 9600k | AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: 8GBs VRAM | NVIDIA RTX-2070 | AMD Radeon RX 6700
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 40 GB available space
Additional Notes: VME SSD
⚠️ Important Performance Note: Steam Workshop & RAM Usage
While we love seeing your creative custom properties, please be aware that loading an extensive amount of legacy workshop content can heavily consume your system memory. If you are experiencing game crashes or performance stutters, it may be due to your RAM becoming fully saturated by these workshop assets.
If you run into these stability issues, we highly recommend temporarily disabling the workshop integration. You can do this easily in the game's main menu by unchecking the "Import Steam Workshop items from legacy House Flipper" toggle.
So mark the date! And in the meantime, join our official Discord server to discuss the game, share your designs, and connect with the community. The server supports players of both the original game and the upcoming Remastered Collection.

The doors to the House Flipper Remastered Collection are officially open. While we are glad to see many of you starting your new renovation journeys, we know that the launch has not been smooth sailing for everyone. We have been closely reading your feedback, reviews, and bug reports since day one, and we hear your frustrations regarding the current bugs and rough edges loud and clear.
Please know that we are a relatively small team, but we are giving it our absolute all to iron out these issues as quickly as possible. We are fully committed to continuously polishing, fine-tuning, and perfecting this game until it reaches the high standard you all deserve. To start tackling these issues, we’ve just deployed our very first hotfix to address some immediate kinks.
First and foremost, we want to reassure everyone that this launch is only the beginning of our journey. The House Flipper Remastered Collection is a long-term passion project for our small team, and the game will continue to receive dedicated support, active updates, and regular improvements! We are fully committed to polishing this definitive edition and giving it the care it deserves.
Since House Flipper 1 and House Flipper Remastered Collection are two completely separate applications, there is no way to directly link their workshops or automatically migrate items through Steam. However, the Remaster can smartly read and convert files from the old Workshop on the fly as they load.
Here is exactly how you can use this depending on your situation:
If the original game is still on your computer, the process is very simple:
Go to the Remaster's main menu and look for the option "Import Steam Workshop items from legacy House Flipper". Simply check it. Please note: this option can only be changed in the main menu.
Steam will automatically download the items to its default House Flipper 1 workshop folder (%programfiles(x86)%\\Steam\\steamapps\\workshop\\content\\613100). If your newly subscribed items don't appear right away, you can force Steam to download them by clicking the 'DOWNLOAD" button next to the "PLAY" button.
⚠️ Crucial Note: The Remaster only reads files directly from the first game's folder - it does not copy them anywhere. If you uninstall House Flipper 1, Steam will automatically delete those workshop folders from your drive! Consequently, the items will disappear from the Remaster, the menu option will become hidden, and upon loading your save, the game will automatically sell the missing furniture, refunding you the full cost in in-game cash.
To avoid this before uninstalling HF1, move your workshop files from the HF1 directory 📂%programfiles(x86)%\\Steam\\steamapps\\workshop\\content\\613100 to the HF Remaster directory 📂%localappdata%\\..\\LocalLow\\Frozen Way\\House Flipper Remastered Collection\\Mods just like in the GIF below:
Players without HF1 installed won't have access to the integration toggle in the settings at all, as Steam prevents automatic file management in this case. If you don't want to install the first game (e.g., due to limited disk space), you can ask a friend to share the files and install them manually:
The files are originally located in the folder: %programfiles(x86)%\\Steam\\steamapps\\workshop\\content\\613100. Each mod is a separate directory named after its unique ID (GUID). Simply copy these folders and paste them directly into the Remaster's mods directory on your drive: 📂%localappdata%\\..\\LocalLow\\Frozen Way\\House Flipper Remastered Collection\\Mods
In this situation, you don't need to activate anything in the settings - the game will automatically detect the files, and a dedicated extra mod tab will unlock on your in-game tablet! Keep in mind, however, that if you want to download completely new items from the workshop, you must own House Flipper 1 and subscribe to them directly on its official Steam Workshop page.
⚠️ CRUCIAL FOLDER NAME WARNING: Do NOT rename these folders under any circumstances! They must keep their original numerical names designated by Steam (for example: 13221321). If you change a folder name to something custom like mod1, the game's loading logic will completely break, and it will fail to read or display the content inside!
We are intensively working on a brand-new Workshop created specifically for the Remastered Collection. We will release a new tool that allows creators to build and share fully native items on the upgraded engine. Once it's ready, we will also prepare a detailed tutorial for you, as the mod creation process will look a bit different.
💡 Please remember: you use all external modifications at your own risk. We do not take responsibility for items and content created by the player community.
We’ve received reports from several players mentioning that the game's textures look blurry or low quality. If you are experiencing this, it is likely due to your default graphics configuration.
Please try heading over to Settings -> Advanced -> Texture Quality and changing the value to a higher setting (for example, switching it from An eighth to Half if you cannot set it to Full). This simple adjustment will make your game look significantly crisper and more detailed without causing a drastic hit to your performance!
Resolved visual artifacts when using the SGSR upscaler.
Introduced a Sharpness adjustment slider in the graphics menu.
Restored a material setting on MowableLawn.mat so that mowed grass is now properly updated and visible on your minimap.
Fixed a bug where frequent use of the Duplicator Tool would sometimes cause the item to break.
Added Sharpness settings
Added missing nullchecks to resolve a few minor stability bugs and analytics issues reported by users.
Fixed a minor exception error in the TilesAndPanelsPack related to analytics.
Fixed a black screen issue occurring on laptops: if a player saves DLSS settings, exits, and later relaunches the game on battery power (unplugged), the system will now properly check if it can run DLSS instead of throwing a black screen.
Fixed a missing collision issue on the terrain located behind the fence in the "Dog business for sale" environment by reactivating the component.
Fixed a progression bug on the "Sunset Bay Sea View" and "Sunset Bay - Change of Place, Change of Pace" missions, meaning you can now officially complete them to 100%.
Adjusted the laptop popup window to more clearly communicate information regarding the job map and North Levyville.
Fixed a bug where changing the variant of a placed item with an invalid material caused its material to reset.
Fixed an issue preventing items from being placed in the center of the gazebo.
Fixed the window cleaning interaction when holding another tool.
Fixed an incorrect setup for one of the cat scratchers.
Fixed garage boxes floating and not being placeable on top of other objects.
Fixed an issue with the Pastel variant of the Restiee toilet.
Thank you all so much for keeping us updated with your logs, bug reports, and constructive criticism! We are continuing to monitor game performance and your feedback incredibly closely. In fact, our next hotfix is already in active testing right now and will be deployed as soon as possible to squash even more of the issues you have highlighted.
We appreciate your patience while we work hard behind the scenes to get the game to where it needs to be.
The base price for House Flipper Remastered Collection is $49.99 USD.
Please keep in mind that in the Remastered Collection, you are getting significantly improved, completely overhauled versions of House Flipper 1 and all of its DLCs. This means the price covers the entire upgraded legacy experience, plus brand-new bonus content, hundreds of new items, and new jobs! For comparison, purchasing the original game with all its additional content at full price would cost around $120 USD.
Furthermore, we want to reward our incredibly loyal community. Depending on how many "big" DLCs (Garden, HGTV, Luxury, Pets, Farm, Dine Out) you already own in your Steam library from the original game, your price will automatically drop at checkout:

First of all, thank you for playing the House Flipper Remastered Collection Demo and for all the feedback you’ve shared with us during the demo period. Your reports, comments, and reviews have been incredibly helpful in highlighting areas that needed additional attention.
You won’t have to wait long to see the improvements in action - playtests will begin on March 30 during the House & Home Fest 2026, giving you guys another opportunity to try the game, see the changes we're currently working on and help us further improve the game with your thoughts and opinions.
Based on your feedback, we identified several key areas that required improvement - particularly lighting and performance. Over the past days we’ve been reviewing your reports and investigating the scenes mentioned most often, and released 4 hotfixes in total over the course of the entire demo period. And of course, our team spent a lot of time analyzing lighting setups and technical systems to better understand what was causing the further persisting issues and how they could be improved.
The first results are already looking promising, and a number of changes have been implemented to improve lighting consistency, visual quality, and performance.
These improvements, along with a better frame rate, will be included in the next playable build, which players will be able to experience during the upcoming playtests. The jobs available in the upcoming build will be different from the ones in the demo - so 2 remastered jobs and 1 from the new DLC.
Here’s a list of changes:
Improved Lighting: Added Screen Space Global Illumination (SSGI) for better light bounce.
Performance: Significant FPS and memory optimizations for smoother gameplay.
Save System: Enhanced stability; autosaves no longer cause hitches or freezes.
Tool Selection: New visible selection wheels with smooth transition animations.
Player Height: Increased player height by 10 cm for a better perspective.
Upscaler Support: Added DLSS / FSR / TAAU selection and quality settings in the menu.
Visual Comfort: Removed Chromatic Aberration and Lens Distortion to eliminate motion sickness.
Sharper Shadows: Increased shadow clarity throughout the game.
Emissive Materials: Fixed glowing materials for lamps and objects to display correctly.
Ceiling Lighting: Fixed "ugly" shadow artifacts previously cast by ceiling lamps.
Atmosphere: Added a dedicated night sky.
Flashlight FX: Added a "heating up" effect for both standard and UV flashlights.
Motion Blur: Fixed and recalibrated for better visual quality.
Bug Fixes: Removed duplicated doors and improved general game stability.
Brightness Menu: Improved the intensity slider for more accurate adjustments.
Since we’re continuing to work on improving the game, we’d also like to share a few small sneak peeks of what we’ve been working on recently.
A certain UI improvement, for starters - it's an update to the Pie Menu. Even when certain categories are inactive, they are still visible in the background. This should hopefully help players see how many available tool categories they have and also make it easier to remember where specific tools are located. Additionally, switching between the categories includes a smooth animation to make the interface feel a bit more visually polished.
We’ve also noticed some confusion regarding the teams behind the different House Flipper projects. Frozen Way and Frozen District are separate companies, working on different titles within the franchise. House Flipper Remastered Collection is being developed by Frozen Way, while House Flipper 2 is developed by Frozen District. This means the work we’re doing on the remaster does not affect the development of House Flipper 2 or its future updates.
We’re continuing to work on improving the game as development progresses. In the meantime, join our official Discord server to discuss the game, share your designs, and connect with the community. The server supports players of both the original game and the upcoming Remastered Collection.
You can also find updates there regarding our other titles, including Farmbotic and Honeycomb: The World Beyond.
Also, our friends are releasing their game Salvage Shop Simulator on March 12, so make sure to check that out!
Thank you for playing the demo!

Steam Next Fest has come to an end, and we want to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to play the House Flipper Remastered Collection demo.
Whether you spent hours renovating or just tried it out briefly, your time and feedback mean a lot to us.
Next Fest is always an important milestone - it’s a chance to put the game in your hands and see how it truly feels outside the studio. This time was no exception.
Steam Next Fest gave us a lot to think about - and a lot to improve. We truly appreciate everyone who took the time to play the demo and share honest feedback, whether positive or critical.
To give more of you a chance to jump in - and to gather even more feedback - we’re extending the House Flipper Remastered Collection demo for one additional week.
If you’ve already played, you’re more than welcome to revisit it. And if you were on the fence, now’s a great time to take a look and let us know what you think.
We’ve been carefully reading your comments, reviews, forum posts, and social media messages - the positive, the critical, and everything in between. Some of you shared what you loved. Others pointed out areas that need improvement. Both are equally valuable.
Honest feedback helps us see what’s working and, just as importantly, what needs refinement. Performance, balance, quality-of-life elements - we’re taking it all seriously.
The goal is simple: deliver a remastered experience that truly feels polished, satisfying, and worthy of the House Flipper name.
The demo is just a glimpse of what we’re building. We’re already hard at work refining systems, improving performance, and implementing some of the suggestions you’ve shared. Your participation is shaping this project more than you might realize. Please keep sharing your thoughts - we’re listening.
As thanks, we’re sharing some sneak peeks of the content you haven’t seen in the demo yet, but will be able to experience in the full release:
Once again, thank you for your support, your time, and your passion. Seeing you guys play the demo why we love working on this game in the first place.

Lucas Utne here. The temperature outside has dropped, turning the suburbs into a frozen, barren landscape. Uff da. But do not worry, as we say it, det ordner seg. It will work out. I have put on my thickest wool sweater, brewed strong coffee, and I am ready to bring some Nordic order to this chaos.
Mid-December is the perfect time to stay inside and make things koselig - that special kind of cozy you only feel when safe from the storm. Let us bring some warmth to your screens, ikke sant?
Check out our latest video devlog above for a deep dive into House Flipper Remastered Collection! However, we know what you've really been waiting to hear.
The price for the House Flipper Remastered Collection has been fixed at $49.99.
Furthermore, owners of all current DLCs will receive a special bonus granting them:
But that’s not all! 🛠️
Those aren't the only deals coming your way. We’re preparing a special, smaller discount for the completionists out there who own all the major DLCs but are missing the Furniture Packs.
Plus, if you only own House Flipper 1 or House Flipper 2, keep your eyes peeled—we will have a small discount coming just for you too!
Ja, winter is expensive, but games should not be. While House Flipper Remastered Collection is still under construction (good design takes time), we are having a massive sale. It is the perfect chance to pick up DLCs to the original House Flipper and other titles. Treat yourself to something nice while you wait for us.
You ask, "Lucas, what is this Collection?" It is simple: it is the complete experience, rebuilt from the ground up. The original House Flipper had, well, structural limits. We could not move walls that were holding up the roof. To give you the features you asked for, we had to build a completely new foundation.
This is a full-scale rework. The base game and all DLCs merged into one sleek, unified product.
The Look: We added a completely new lighting system. It looks majestic, as we want the atmosphere to be perfect.
The Stability: We are fixing the uff da save-file issues from the past. A house must stand firm. Ensuring the game runs smoothly is our top priority.
The Inventory: We have packed the crates with over 800 new items. You cannot design a proper home with empty hands. From sleek modern to warm rustic, you finally have the variety to fill every corner and make it truly koselig.
The New Jobs: 6 brand new jobs and houses for sale crafted with love <3
The Quality of Life: We made many improvements to make your work smoother. For example, you requested an extra save slot, so we added it. Now you can experiment with daring designs without losing your safe haven.
The Completeness: The base game plus EVERY released DLC in a single package.
The Price: If you already own House Flipper and all its DLCs, the upgrade will cost you around $20. Considering the amount of new content exceeds many full DLCs, this is a very fair deal.
We originally planned to open the doors for playtests in late November. But we looked at the details and said 'Nei.' It was not polished enough. You cannot rush good design.
We are moving the playtests to February. We need this time to perfect the optimization. When the demo arrives, we want you to test it thoroughly to see how your machine handles the new lighting and graphics. Better to wait a few months for a sturdy home than to move into a drafty one, ikke sant?
To reserve your spot for the pleytests, visit our Steam page and click the "Request Access" button.
Look at the difference. The original was... acceptable. But the Remastered version? Akkurat. The lighting is softer, the textures are richer. It finally feels like a home.
Dirt likes to hide. I do not like dirt. We have added a new UV flashlight tool. Now, you can spot every stain and spot that needs cleaning immediately. No more guessing. It makes the cleaning process precise and satisfying.
We have upgraded the Variant Selector to be much smoother. It is a simple change, but powerful. You can now browse and apply item variants immediately while you decorate. No more menu diving, no more wasted clicks. It allows you to focus purely on the design, making the renovation process as sleek as the furniture you are placing.
Even a wizard needs good interior design. We have updated the potions in the Mage Hut. The glass reflects light beautifully now, and the magical effects are much more impressive. Oi! Be careful not to knock them over.
You cannot survive the cold without the right supplies. We have added new winter-themed graphics and items to the game. Perfect for making your renovation project feel warm and inviting, regardless of the climate outside.
Renovating is hard work, especially in this climate. You need a place to rest your tools and share your blueprints. Our Discord is like a warm cabin in the middle of a snowstorm - organized, welcoming, and very koselig.
Whether you are still fixing up the original houses or preparing for the sleek updates of the Remastered Collection, the door is open. Come in from the cold, warm your hands, and let us talk design. And if you’re curious to learn more about our other titles like Farmbotic, Honeycomb: The World Beyond or Salvage Shop Simulator - we have plenty of exciting news to share about those, too.
Ha det bra,
~ Lucas and Frozen Way Team
