We will still patch any bugs that arise from players that we haven't spotted, make improvements, and we do have extra content planned in the future long-term.

Arcade Mode 2nd Location -

We have plans for a 2nd Arcade Location free dlc, that'll have new characters, and a new style of gameplay that'll have more aspects inspired by Phas!

Future Projects -

We also currently have multiple future games storyboarded, including:

• Two completely new projects

• A future in-universe sequel to Haunting Havens involving vampires and a larger-scale experience that combines both Arcade and Story Mode gameplay into a single game

The sequel is planned to feature a more open, interconnected structure somewhat inspired Security Breach.

Story Mode is at last complete! We do have other updates/content planned, as well as future games. But enjoy the final Episode of Story Mode! Any bugs that arise, or performance issues, we'll take care of, so let us know!

We'll be releasing from Early Access tomorrow, and likely have one more patch before then, adding in all swappable scenes and Rachel's altar scene.

Some VRAM improvements are also in the works.

Some users have reported crashing when loading into the 2nd environment of Episode 3, we believe the problem has been resolved, but let us know if it persists!

Additionally, some are wondering about the missing lines, as previously stated, the voice actor for Seraphine has been ill, hopefully she'll be feeling better soon, but as of now her lines won't have a voice for Ep. 3

There are also additions that will be made, as HH is still in Beta, this was not a full release, so if some features aren't there yet, were currently working on getting them situated throughout the next week.

For those asking about Arcade Mode, we do have plans for a free dlc featuring a second Arcade location, that'll have new characters and more phas-inspired mechanics. And will likely serve as a prelude to an HH sequel with vampires.

After Episode 3 launches, we’re planning to move out of Beta/Early Access. Development won’t stop, we’ll continue working on new content and future projects, and with some that'll still be within the Haunting Havens universe, and have those come out hastily

The Gallery is officially here!

Many of you have been asking for this feature, and we’re excited to finally bring it to the game. The Gallery is currently in Beta, some props from the original scenes are not yet present, and there are a few lighting quirks we’ll be improving soon.

Episode 3 Progress

Good progress has been made on Episode 3. We’re aiming for a release early in May.

After that, we’ll begin discussions around leaving Early Access. Development will continue beyond EA release, though! If release goes well, we fully plan to add a free DLC Arcade 2nd location featuring a different, more Phas-inspired gameplay style, along with new characters.

Bug Fixes

• Change: V-Sync in the default FPS option instead of 60fps, as this prevents screen tearing and will appear better visually. Can still be adjusted in the settings, if you downloaded the last update, you'll need to change manually in the settings to VSync.

• Certain scenes not working.

• Fixed low-res textures in some scenes.

We’ve released a small hotfix for Arcade Mode.

The night duration has been corrected and should now last about 7 minutes as originally intended.

As many of you have requested, the Gallery will be added later this month (March)!

As mentioned in the Discord, Episode 3 will now release in April instead of early March. We want to make sure the current build is in the best possible shape so Episode 3 launches the right way.

This update also adds an FPS Cap option and Invert Y-Axis to the Settings menu, along with various bug fixes and improvements.

Additionally, the in-game release date for Episode 3 has been updated to reflect the new timeline.

We’ve had a major optimization pass. Compared to the previous public build, performance is roughly +30% to +60% higher across all graphics presets.

We also reduced VRAM usage significantly on Low and Med (about ~40% less VRAM), which should help prevent VRAM-related crashes for affected players. High/Ultra VRAM is roughly unchanged, but FPS still improves on those presets as well.

Textures not being full resolution has also been fixed!

This update addresses the highest-priority bugs reported by players.

We want to apologize for the number of updates over the past week. After the last patch, we expected things to be stable for a while, but we discovered a critical issue affecting new players where XXX scenes would fail to function.

This issue was difficult to reproduce because it was tied to stored player preferences, which meant it primarily affected fresh installs rather than existing players. Once identified, we were able to resolve it fully.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding during this period. We’ll be taking a short breather from patch updates now that this has been addressed.

Episode 2, Part 2/3 is now available and playable. We do want to clearly note that Rachel is not yet voiced in this part. Her final voice acting will be implemented when Part 3 releases on January 23rd (2 P.M. PST)! If you prefer to experience her scenes fully voiced, we recommend waiting until then, or you could play now if you'd like to jump into it. Localization & stability update: As mentioned in the last update, all missing glyphs have now been fully fixed! Additionally, for Chinese and Japanese players who may have experienced crashes when attempting to play Episode 1, please try again! We’ve identified and resolved an odd localization-related issue that was causing crashes for some users. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to sharing the rest of Episode 2 very soon!

Quick reminder! Episode 2 Part 2/3 is coming Jan. 19th ~2 P.M. PST, and 3/3 on the 21st ~2 P.M. PST

Morgana's car ride back to the mansion has now been fully animated (we had it mostly animated, but a few more tweaks were required before putting it out at first)! The clothing icon to turn on/off clothes during XXX scenes bug has been resolved! Build size slightly reduced (will be further reduced/compressed once all of Episode 2 is released) + Other smaller fixes causing some errors

We’re excited to finally share more concrete timing for what’s coming next.

Episode 2 is planned to release between January 23rd (2 P.M.) PST!

Following that, Episode 3 is planned to release in May! This gap will be much shorter than the wait between Episodes 1 and 2, while still delivering content-time on par with Episode 1.

One reason we’re able to move faster now is that Episodes 2 and 3 have been developed in parallel so we could keep the story coherently tied to the ending, and from the beginning, we had the overall story direction outlined for Episodes 1 and 3, but Episode 2 had to be built largely from scratch!

There’s also a chance we may release the first portion of Episode 3 (roughly the first 1/3) a week or two after Episode 2 launches, this is still a possibility rather than a guarantee, though!

Alongside Episode 2, the next update will also include optimization improvements, particularly lower VRAM, and as such, overall RAM as well! Which should result in better overall performance.

Finally, we want to genuinely thank everyone who’s been leaving a review, wishlist, or message. The response after our last update made a noticeable difference, and it directly helps visibility and momentum for the project. If you’ve been enjoying the game, leaving a review truly goes a long way.

We wanted to give a quick update on where things stand with Episode 2. Right now, development is sitting around ~50% complete (we'd like to have it completed in 2 more months). While Episode 1 is centered on Annie and Morgana, Episode 2 shifts the spotlight toward Seraphine, Morgana, and introduces a brand-new character, Rachel, a cat-eared character with a tail. The story will unfold in an entirely new environment, bringing new visuals.

Our main goal is to release Episode 2 as soon as possible, while keeping quality consistent with (or above) Episode 1. Ideally, we’d like to have Episodes 2 and 3 finished before Summer, and conclude HH's story by then! (Though that does not mean the universe will be over with!)

Swap Scene updates were good at first, but without adding new unique content, they started to feel a bit repetitive and cheap. Most of the popular pairings people asked for have been covered, so moving forward we’re putting that time toward new, fully animated scenes that expand the story and characters.

Development was a bit slow between June and late September, as we wasted an astronomical amount of time on things that didn't end up being completed, either due to copyright reasons, or some new rules in the NSFW gaming genre (such as another adult-project game that was being worked on, that's now on the backburner until we know more). So things are speeding back up!

Your patience and feedback keep this project moving forward. Every wishlist, review, and message genuinely helps us prioritize and push faster toward the next release.

Updated yesterday with some polishing for Episode 1, as well as added some more swappable scenes for Arcade mode!

Seraphine now has Morgana's subdue animation, as well as Judi's caught sequence!

We'll make a devlog soon with a roadmap for HH, and its future episodes, so we hope you'll all be excited for that!

We still intend to polish out a few things, add more variances in the animation, and possibly extend it a bit as well, but here's our ending of Episode 1 of HH, enjoy! We look forward to the future episodes expanding on the lore of the HH Universe.

Part 2 more-so finalizes Episode 1 of HH, it's not as long as Part 1, however, it does have 2 h-scenes that are back-to-back, so keep that in mind! We'll add in some better checkpoints, add some variations in the h-scenes, and make the boss fight better as the updates progress.

Part 2 is mostly finished, we're just waiting on some lines from our VAs as a result of a last-minute commission we needed to make due to some changes in Part 2. The current update is just to update the text for the release window in-game, so if you're reading this, there's no need to update just yet. Our time-table is 1 week until we get the lines after some back and forth, so get excited! (We won't give a specified date this time so there won't be disappointment if it ends up being a day or two later and we have to write another "delay" patch note, which we'd like to stop doing!)

Important: After some weeks, we'll have a beta of another game we've been crafting in the background to be worked on in dual-development with HH that'll be available through our Discord. Progress on HH will be the same, and perhaps faster, so don't worry about it slowing down future episodes! This is primarily so we don't get burnt-out and can use some other ideas we've been having and implement them in HH as well if they're compatible.

We have added the functionality in the Shop to swap h scenes between characters! So far 4 have been added, with the rest rolling out over the course of the next month (Seraphine's blowjob animation will be in the next update)!

After many obstacles over the past 3 weeks—primarily dealing with business and tax matters we've never had experience with, which brought plenty of headaches and confusion—everything has now been sorted! Additionally, we've had a single nagging, game-breaking, bug in Part 2 that we've spent 2 weeks trying to figure out how to resolve, that yesterday we were finally able fix.

With these obstacles we're back on track with Part 2, however, we ask for 3 more weeks (July 15th), as of writing this, to allow us to finish all of Part 2, and make it great! As a thank-you for your patience, we’ll be releasing an update on June 28th that adds swappable H-scenes!
