Handstand Hank is a punishing experience inspired by foddian games like Getting Over It, Jump King and A Difficult Game About Climbing. For those looking for an unforgiving platformer hard mode is recommended!

Whether you played for just a few minutes or spent hours mastering the controls, your time and feedback have been incredibly valuable. Watching you play and create content has helped me identify and improve areas in both level design and gameplay feel.

With June Next Fest around the corner, I’m excited for more people to experience a demo that’s been polished thanks to all the feedback you've shared with me!

What's Changed:

• A clearer tutorial section teaching short jumps
• Vertically designed level to make the falls less brutal and time to reset reduced
• Safety catches so hard mode is more forgiving now.

Movement Changes:

• Removed the ability for the player to move while ascending as this was not an intended movement mechanic but many started to use it but would make them fall later in the course causing fustration.
• Polished the movement and jump mechanic allowing for simultaneous pressing and within ~0.1 seconds of each other.
