Hello, fellow escaping hamsters! It's been a while! After a long journey of development, Hamster, Eat, Run has finally been officially released on Steam!
A huge thank you to everyone who playtested the game, wishlisted it, shared feedback, and supported it along the way. Your feedback helped shape the game into what it is today.
If you encounter any bugs, translation issues, or have ideas and suggestions while playing the full release, feel free to leave a comment below. I'll read every piece of feedback carefully and continue improving the game.
This is my first game, and I'm truly grateful for all your support throughout this journey. I hope you have fun playing it!
Add:
Escape Records: When fail due to unable to submit food or other reason, the esacaping time and fail reason info will be saved as a escape record. Records can be viewed from the bottom-right entry on the title screen after unlocking. Up to 8 longest escaping time records will be saved.
Extra Barn Challenges: If completing the season's Barn OKR ahead of schedule, extra Barn Challenges will appear on the map. Win the callenges will grant you another opportunity to select collectible merch as reward. These challenges will be closed at the end of the season.

New
Collectible Merch System:
The Collectible Merch System will replace the OKR Effect rewards.
Each collectible merch corresponds to one of the previous reward buff effects.
The demo currently includes 30 Collectible Merch. More collectibles with unique effects will be available in the full release.
Improvements
Imporved the UI for Seasonal Buffs and Temporary Buffs, which are now displayed in the lower-left corner of the screen.
Added double check for important actions, including: Hoarding Level-Up reward selection; OKR reward selection; Returning to the title screen.
Added cheek pouch inventory quantity display to the info pop-ups for food, items, and merch, allowing players to better assess their current inventory.
Changed the archive unlock for items, dishes, locations, and merch to a global save system. Entries unlocked in one save file will remain visible in future save files.
Improved the guidance for checking food stored in the cheek pouch during eating stages. Added a display for the number of “Food Count on Field” to help players determine whether all food in the stage has been ate or retrived.
Improved feedback for several UI buttons.

Improved the new player tutorial and added a “Barn Eating Training” level to help newly escaped hamsters quickly understand the gameplay.
Added “Flashcards system” for fast access to gameplay knowledge, as shown above.
Added tooltip pop-ups explaining status definitions for food, as shown below.
Plus various other small quality-of-life improvements that are not worth listing individually but help enhance the overall experience.
