Hakoniwa Base Ball has officially launched today!
Huge thanks to everyone who played the demo and sent feedback — you made this a far
better game than what I first set out to build.
15% off for the first 14 days!
If you enjoyed the demo, now's a great time to grab it. And if you could leave a review,
it would mean the world to me.
Here's a look at some of what's coming:
• Steam Workshop support — I plan to make it much easier to share the teams, stadiums
and player data you create.
• Ability-estimator tool — in development: it predicts player ability ratings from real
stats, so building distinctive players becomes far easier.
I'll keep growing the game based on your feedback. Thanks so much for being here!
Alongside the update to the full version, we've rolled out what is planned to be the final update before release. We've polished the design of various screens and made adjustments to the game balance.
Until now, a pitcher's breaking balls were shown only as the number of pitch types. Now you can see exactly which pitches they throw and how good each one is — and pitch types are displayed during games as well.
Home runs have been more frequent than in real baseball since the beginning — this is intentional. We want you to see home runs fly, so players with high Power are more likely to hit them.
Going forward, we'll keep making adjustments to make the game even more fun, as much as we possibly can.
