Guns and Nuns: Storming Hell news & patch notes

Hello Guys,

This new update 1.1.1 added the Steam Cloud feature to the game!

This was a requested feature by many of you, so from now on I will implemented it on my projects.

Now, as for the future content of Guns and Nuns, for now I can confirm that I am working in a new map, which will include a new weapon, their own set of enemies and of course a new melody. I am also working in a update for my previous game Dungeon Watchers which is also gonna be updated very soon.

Another update you can expect soon will be the one for the trading cards and an avatar for the Steam Point Shop, I will make an announcement when it is ready.

Hello Guys,

Today I updated the game to the version 1.1.0 and the main feature is that you can now select two weapons and swap between them in the game . For example you can select the sword Ventus Aureus and the shotgun Lady Mary and swap between them quickly during gameplay.

Another change is that the images of Angelica Amadeus doing her victory poses have more resolution than before, making the image more clear, she deserve it.

Also, a bug in the Lust level that in a corner that makes the player get stuck was fixed by changing the collision on that part.

Another bugs fixed in this version are:

• Fixed a bug that allow the generation of additional monster in Ruins of Gluttony time attack mode.

• Fixed a bug that allow the generation of additional monster in Heaven of Envy time attack mode.

As for now, that's all, I will keep working on the game, soon I will share what to expect in the future for Guns and Nuns this year (which are gonna be more maps and weapons) but I will explain with details in a future posts.

Hello guys,

This is a small update, mostly a patch update where I fix mainly two minor bugs:

• The opening black bars at the start of a match don't stop when the player pauses the game.

• There was an Hourglass in the Lust level that did not appear in survival mode, blocking an entire section of the map. Now it appears accordingly.

That's all for now, I am working in a update that will allow players to wield two weapons at the same time, so stay tuned and have fun !!!

I just updated the game and the main feature is that Angelica have uniques poses depending on the game mode you are playing!!!

This is part of efforts to bring more visual art of Angelica to the game, I have plans to make more animations the her face but those will need some time to be made.

Also, in this update I fixed a bug that made the Flamethrower lose its collision when interacting with portals and teleporters.

In this new update 1.0.5 I added collision to the curtains in the Hallways of Lust and to some decoration present in the map.

Also, the enemies in Lust will not run away in panic from Angelica when she is in Holy Time.

Being in panic and running away, in the opposite direction towards Angelica was the main reason why they were hugging the wall most of the time.

There's new changes to the spawn rate on Caves of Sloth, the first area creates more demons than before. Not only that, but their agro range is bigger, which helps finding the enemies on the second part of the map.

Additionally, this update fixed some translations on Russian and Simplify Chinese.

That's all for this Update, but more are coming up, right now I am working on making Badges and Trading cards for the game and I am preparing the OST to be uploaded on Youtube and also as DLC here on Steam, so stay tuned and have fun!!!

Hello guys,

I just made an update making some changes some maps, for example:

In Caves of Sloth some players reported getting lost and not finding the entrance for small planet in the beginning neither finding the jumper pentacle in the second part, so I made new landmarks to help guide the player to where the have to go.

Also, I tweaked the Gravity around the small planetoid to make moving in it more consistent.

Another updated map is related to the Time attack version of Galaxy of Wrath, now the Skull and Eyes will appear only when you enter the hollow sun.

Also, a bug with the voice slider not making the correct sound was fixed.

For now, that's all, but I am currently working in the nest update 1.0.4 which is gonna fix some translations issues and increase the amount of monster in Lust and Sloth, so stay tuned and have fun!!!

As some of you may know, Steam updated the regional pricing tools for developers and introduced a new system that suggest the regional price based on the purchasing power of the region instead of a generic flat conversion. So I can say that Guns and Nuns will have a conversion rate very close to the new one suggested with Purchasing Power rate, that way, many player around the world will be able to play the game to a price that feels right to their region!!!

Also, the game will have Steam Achievements, it will 30 at release, so get ready to have collecting them.

So in short, the game's content at launch will be:

• 7 stages each related to one of the deadly sins.

• 2 starting weapons and 7 unlockables, for a total of 9 weapons.

• 3 game modes: Storming Hell, Time Attack and Survival.

• Each stage and game mode have their own Leaderboards for a total of 21.

• 30 Steam Achievements.

Hello, I just made a new update 0.1.4 for the demo of Guns and Nuns, the main feature it's that now is showcasing all the content you will be able to unlock in the full game:

• 3 game modes.

• 7 maps.

• 9 weapons.

But that's not all, today is the beginning of the Steam Fest and Guns and Nuns will participate on it, so be prepared because there's more coming later on.

Hello everyone, today I made the new update 0.1.3 for Guns and Nuns and the new main feature is that now: all pillars in Palace of Pride have gravity fields. I notice some players like the idea of walking every surface so I put some work on it creating gravity fields for every pillar. Additionally, I fixed a bug related to Lady Mary not pausing the animation when the game was paused and updated some translations for some languages based on the feedback I received.

Right now I am working on the maps for the full game and their set of enemies. I also already made the ost for the rest of the maps.

Hello everyone, today I have this new update 0.1.2 for the demo, includes a new mechanic with the Holy Hand Grenade, new visual effects and some improvement on the UI, here is a list of the changes:

• Palace of Pride now start with 2 minutes instead of 1 for a total of 8 minutes !!!!!

• Added the Holy Hand Grenade pick up, Palace of Pride have 3 of them now.

• Holy Hand Grenade now give bonus points for each enemy you kill with them.

• The combo counter now have a green bar indicating how much time left you have until your combo ends.

• The UI icon for hourglasses now glows in purple instead of white.

• Updated the hourglasses appearance, now they glow in purple to match the UI icon and be more easy to spot at the distance.

• Hourglasses now shatter in many pieces when you shoot at them or touch them.

• Shield and Hearts now emit particles when collected.

• Autofire is now the default option if you are a new player.

• Fixed some translations on Portuguese and Russian based on the feedback from players.

In short, Grenades give you bonus points, Hourglasses look cooler and Palace of Pride have one more minute to blast demons with hot lead, so you can try and get a better highscore.

Hello everyone,

Today I made the update v0.1.1 to the demo on Steam fixing some bugs the community found and made some small changes. First, this new update will show you the basic control configuration for the keyboard and gamepad the first time you try to play the game, if you need to see it again, there's now a new Help button in the pause menu for that. I added this new feature because I notice some players didn't know they can dash or throw a Holy Hand Grenade, so this information should help for the moment. I have plans on making a proper "Tutorial level" for a future update (probably for the Steam next fest demo), but for now, this will be.

There's also a small change to the map: I removed a column near the secret area, as the missing column should be the one that's floating.

Now, these are the bug fixes:

• A bug that let the player use all the holy time grenades while the game is paused is now fixed.

• A bug that caused the holy time grenade no collide with the floor when entering the secret area is now fixed.
