First of all: This is not that big of a patch, but there are only 3 options to choose from here! ;D This patch changes the following: - Farming zones now affects trees as well! Trees there will be replanted when cut down. You can also hold shift to give replant orders with trees as well, when using the cursor to harvest. - When getting food, people will be less likely to choose bad food (repulsive, uncooked, or human meat when not cannibal). They way this works is that when searching for food, bad food's distance gets multiplied, so they get lower priority. I have more than doubled the previous weights. - Fixed chair sprites a little, since it was pointed out they were hard to spot by color blind people. I hope this change is big enough, but otherwise let me know! (Really, it will take like 10 minutes) - Made load-factions and load-cultures lists scrollable, for you mad men and women whom create and save tons and tons of stuff. <3 - Adds discord link and check-out-my-other-games-link to the main menu. This patch fixes the following: - At certain distances and game speeds, projectiles always missed their target. This was very noticeable when training muskets on target dummies at 6x speed. This has been fixed! - When a faction member dies, the game always re-calculates light/dark powers! There was a few potentinal issues and bugs related to those not becoming properly updated. - Boreal winter background did not repeat/tile nicely, so that has been fixed! - Smite and terror spells no longer deletes the weapon in second slot if your first slot is free. (Items will be dropped next to the bed) - Fixes a few typos and missing texts. - Gets rid of crash related to unableing thrown weapon mid animation. - Gets rid of crash related to customizing start-units in an existing world which has finished the main campaign. (Can't mention to much due to spoilers!) - If talking to a knight or a paladin when visiting their camp, they will not abandon the area if displeased with the interaction. That is it for now! This is a just a quick little fix for a rare case in which boats got stuck at the edges of a map when arriving, despite having a clear path. Best wishes//Mattias

TLDR: I have added details, more shades and higher contrast to most sprites. I think the game looks way better while maintaining the general tone and feeling. Combat has been enhanced with pop-ups and flashes! <3 This patch does the following: - Almost all sprites have been enhanced! - When damaged beings now flash white, high lighting the combat/action. - There are now damage-popups, really improving the feeling and action of the game. (They can be turned off in options.) - All damage classes now have there own color, visible in menus and in pop-ups. - A few improvements to performance. - Enemy- and animal health bars now look better. - You can build solid blocks right over slopes, no need to 'clear terrain' first. This patch also fixes this: - Fixes an issue in which healers just stood there, not healing. - Fixes cobble stone autotiling wrong in dreadlands. - Fixes an issue with Boss-event not ending. - Fixes an issue where you could switch area during the final boss if you lost, weirdly bugging the game. - Fixes a few issues related to throwing potions with slings. - Fire grenades didn't apply there damage properly, so now higher quality fire grenades are much deadlier. - Fixes a bunch of typos! - Buildings boats takes their xscale into consideration, so they won't sometimes be constructed stuck inside ground, for example. This patch adds the following fixes and improvements: Building and Placement - Dirt walls placed behind dirt blocks no longer cost stone, instead of dirt. - Slopes cannot be placed behind blocks. - Stairs and ladders cannot be built on top of identical objects. - Walls, Base blocks and Slopes now have proper titles in the work list. - Dismantling stairs and ladders now accounts for slopes below. - Built walls now immediately integrate into spiders' pathfinding. - Ladders can now be built adjacent to buildings, as buildings count as 'anchors'. - Fixed an issue with wall banners placed indoors becoming invisible or glitchy. Resource Management - Direct move-item orders no longer interfere with automatic resource gathering and vice versa. (At least this bug is much less likely) - Cooking is now better prioritized when the settlement is low on food. - Loading a save removes unusable "occupied" farm areas. - Improved prioritization to ensure less urgent tasks (e.g., dyeing items) are not permanently deprioritized. Animal Behavior - Animals stuck in pits no longer block solid block construction. - Fixed an issue where animals wouldn't eat meat, even when nearby. - Redundant tame-animal orders now self-delete. - Renaming animals now updates any associated caravans. - Fixed outlines appearing incorrectly on climbing spiders. Visitor and Caravan Behavior - Visitors' carts will no longer park at stairs or doors. - Caravans now spread out their carts upon entering an area. - Fixed an issue where merchants could get stuck in a loop with their carts. - Visitors are now interactable, even in previously, rare problematic positions like at stairs. Combat, Damage and Fire - Fixed an issue where attackers would stand still instead of engaging. - Addressed an issue causing large enemies' footsteps to stutter and play non-stop. - Searing beam now damages target dummies, and attacking friendly visitors with it will turn them hostile. - When fires burn down gore tiles, associated clearing orders are automatically canceled. - Right-clicking to extinguish fires now prioritizes targets properly, including dummies. Usability Improvements - Scroll arrows are now more noticeable. - Easier to stop units from practicing on target dummies. - Improved shift-click climbing functionality and climbing in general. - "Not enough resources to complete Repair" now replaces vague "Unknown" messages. - Fixed overlapping clicking between the units menu and the search-item menu. - Instead of "Further studies", once researched ancient stones will have the option "Study for practice". Work Orders and Tasks - Fixed an issue where canceled item-moving tasks left unworkable orders behind. - Eat orders are now checked immediately upon creation. - When leavning with a caravan, the find-clear-path function has been improved, and now searches from any relevant cart instead of members. Miscellaneous Fixes - Units strolling for leisure will avoid hanging out on ladders. - Fixed a crash related to entering storage menus. - Fixed an issue with "Unmark for slaughter"-command appears when it shouldn't have. - Fixed an issue with equipping two one-handed items, ensuring slot selection is respected, when using the search menu. Phew... these are all very needed! I thank you all for your patience and bug reports! This patch does the following: - Fixes a crash related to chosing a destination for boat travel. - Fixes a few typos and missing text. - Heavy footstep-sounds now have a timer so they won't "stack" as much. Best wishes and lots of love! <3 //Mattias

This patch does the following: - Leather boots, tricornes, headbands and ponchos are now classified as armor, no longer clothing. Previously they appeared under armor in scrap settings, yet as clothing in storages (their class in the actual code was clothing). To simplify things and prevent scrap orders missing gear: all leather gear = armor. So this might mess up some players current storage planning (apologies), but I think this is easier and cleaner. All leather = armor. This will not affect the apparels stats in any way. - Direct orders to move items outdoors now work as they should, items no longer disappearing. - One crash related to moving item has been fixed. - Another crash related to beings jumping off screen or being stuck below ground, has been fixed. - Undeads-stuck-in-water will fix themselves much better. This patch does the following: - Adds a turkish translation to the game! (Huge thanks to moongame (Olgunay) and lail0r for doing the translation! <3) - All terrain (except lowest stone layer, granite) can now be directy replace with terrain blocks, instead of needing to be removed first, which just wasn't fun gameplay. - When caravans arrive at locations, they will not be hungry and starting eating right away. - Dismantling carts will remove them from any relevant caravan. - Aborting move orders will not leave the "move item" behind (an icon that looked like a wheel or two arrows). - Units arriving in boats and stuck outside the screen will move into the map. (This might be rather ugly and glitchy, but they will be 'returned' at least) - Gets rid of an annoying glitch in which items dropped in water just kept moving up and down forever. - If the final shrine is destroyed during the final boss, you can build a new one. (Much cheaper and much faster) - Trying to negotiate at hostile encounters now works as it should! (Previously the chance of a successful negotation was rounded down... to zero... so it never worked.... CODING!) - General scrap orders affecting for example "All leather", or "All copper armor", now works as it should. - One crash less! This was related to healing animals. This patch does the following: - When losing with a faction, the 'Save and Leave'-option no longer crashes the game. - A crash related to work orders has been fixed. - Building dirt-, mud- or cobble blocks will NOT create matching backgrounds automatically. - Upgrading beds gradually will not end up costing more than building luxury beds right away. This patch does the following: - Animals trying to leave with a caravan could occasionally get stuck in their pens. This has been fixed. - When telling an animal to enter a pen, it will choose the correct gate, instead of just picking the nearest. (This was the main cause of the issue mentioned above.) This patch does the following: - Gets rid a crash related to trading. - Gets rid another crash related to drinking milk. - When dismantling damaged drawbridges, the hp-bar will disappear as well. - When wall banners placed on the outside of buildings will become transparent when view indoors. This patch does the following: - A few boosts to performance. - A few crashes less. - Humans who join the player faction will no longer (sometimes) have status icons remaining over them. - Metal strength was previously slightly differently applied between weapons and armor. This has been fixed. - Food stacks that reaches 0 in caravans, will now disappear right away instead of 'waiting' until the caravan arrives. - Workers will no longer jump/teleport directly between different work orders. This patch does the following: Undead AI has been improved in the following ways: - Should target raised drawbridges better, and also not be able to run through them. - Not get stuck far away from the players base, just wandering around. - Not attack something invisble at the edge of the map. And also this: - Large enemies footsteps sound-distance has been lowered, so it is more easily avoidable/ignored. - Stone elementals will no longer die for no apparent reason. This path does the following: - Increases performance. There are some overall improvements, but this will be very noticeable if you are the kind of player that often plays with the resource-tab opened, because that had some extremely inefficient and not-needed code tied to it. My bad! - Grim perk will be slightly harder to get and slightly easier to get rid off. Also, tender perk will be slightly easier to get. - Overall loyalty-gain has been increased as well. - Existing redundant work orders will be automatically removed. (Stuff like equip orders not tied to any existing unit) - Fixes an issue related to certain scrollable menus glitching back to the top. - Storage menus have a little more space so icons won't overlap. - One crash less! - Fixes it so that ancient research tables can't spawn too close to the map edge, making them impossible to interact with later. This patch does the following: - Removes a crash related to the final boss. - You can now succesfully mirror statues when moving them. - Caravans leaving the area with a cart left behind will no longer be locked in this state. Any such caravans locked should be fixed with this patch. Also: When removing a caravan member, there will be a check so there can't be too many carts added (Having more carts than the members can move). If so, the last added cart will be removed. - Added a tool tip about trying to select a specific item which is laying in front of storage (for example). The tip: Use drag-select to select the item. This patch does the following: - You can now cook mimic meat! - New equip orders will free units from guard mode. Equip orders created before entering guard mode will still be ignored, but I have noticed that especially new players gets attacked, then wants to freeze a unit and equip it with a new weapon but then gets confused when the unit just stands there. - New farming zones will check instantly if there is stuff to be harvest. Previously they only checked when stuff actually grows, which is just once per day. - Fixes a confusing UI message, in which work order status was saying 'Unworkable' on equip orders, and a few others. - Fixes an issue where units would be given guard orders but then start working on something almost instantly, ignoring any new guard orders until that particular work order was done.
