Heya! Here's a quick patch This update has changed & added the following things:
Fixed an issue where Skills would take more XP than advertised when bought
Fixed an issue where the mage damage skill dealt the same damage as a normal attack
Thanks for playing - Seyloj
Hey everyone! Here's the first content update for Gridle :)
This update has changed & added the following things:
Added 39 new rebirth knowledge upgrades, including 4 endless ones. These are primarily focused on boosting endgame progression
Added 2 new upgrades (unlocked from rebirth knowledge)
The cost of increased Money & XP rebirth knowledge has greatly been decreased
Skill panels now have a multi-buy button and back button, same as the upgrade panels
Improved controller support. Gridle is now Steamdeck verified. (There are still some issues that I plan on fixing at a later time)
The archers "Accurate shot" skill now deals a % of enemy health as damage
The knights "Rally" skill now stuns enemies
Fixed a bug where fast-forward would break when opening the pause menu
Fixed a bug where the party assign cooldown would not reset on rebirth
Thanks for playing
- Seyloj
Hey again! Here's a quick patch :)
This update has changed & added the following things:
Added a "skip" button to the minigames, allowing you to skip the minigame & instantly get 2-5 chests. This puts the minigame on 3x cooldown though
Fixed a bug where enemies around level 80+ would stop dropping coins
I'm currently swamped with my master thesis so I have very limited time to work on the first content update, but it will come eventually :)
Thanks for playing

Hey everyone!
The Gridle Soundtrack is now available for purchase! It contains 45+ minutes of all the music found in Gridle in mp3 format. The music is composed by Falconshield. If you liked the music then feel free to get it. I've personally been listening to it while working on my master thesis :)
I've taken a few days break from development but will soon begin working on the first content update for Gridle. If you have any suggestions for new content or any other changes you'd like to see, then now is the time to let me know :)
Hey again! Here's a quick patch :)
This update has changed & added the following things:
XP cost of the 6th party slot reduced to 5 Mil
Reduced the final boss health by 20% (this in combination with the above change has made DPS partys much more reliable at taking down the final boss)
Slightly reduced the damage scaling of the 5th worlds enemies
You can now hold the mouse button to click (basically a built-in autoclicker)
Added mute on minimize/unfocus option (minimize mode may only work on windows)
Dimension slash has been moved to an independent branch in the rebirth tree and hence no longer requires maxing out offline grind to purchase
Fixed an issue where desktop mode settings would not apply correctly
Fixed an issue where you could still buy a few upgrade levels on x10 & x100 even if the slots were red
Fixed an issue where the endless world music would restart every 5th level
FF >> is now still shown when fast-forwarding even if Screen overlays is disabled
Reduces the size of the fast forward FF >> display
Fixed a bug where object that were fading out would be based on real time and not game time
Fixed a bug where pausing when fast-foward was toggled on would require you to double-click space bar to turn fast foward on again
Once again, I'm still aware of the bug with skills sometimes being softlocked when they are autocast and I'm looking into it. If this bug happens to you, then please let me know which skill it happened to and what the stats of it was (power, duration \, and cooldown).
More content will also come later on, I plan on expanding the rebirth tree as well as the endgame.
Thanks for playing

Hey guys! Huge thanks to all of you who have played the game in these last 2 days, I've been extremely happy with the reception. Here's a quick patch!
This update has changed & added the following things:
Added borderless fullscreen option to the visual settings
All 4 minigames are now immediately unlocked once you have a party orb, applying party orbs to a class reduces the cooldown of their minigame. (This is because I do not want to lock 100%'ing the game behind waiting IRL time)
You can now middle click a class to open their skill panel
Fixed a bug where the diamonds would count as ruby in the mining minigame
Fixed a bug where Skill power rune would invert Blade clash's ability (effectively increasing enemies damage)
Reduced the Final stand ability of the Goblin Warrior
Fixed a bug where a leaderboard slot saying "Seyloj 250k" would be displayed
Fixed a bug where the kills leaderboard would submit scores in log2
Added engineering number format
The skill runes have had their effects (both buffs & debuffs) reduced
Had to get this patch out asap due to the skill power rune bug and so, I did all the fixes & QOL changes that could be done quickly alongside it. I'm aware of the bug with skills sometimes being softlocked when they are autocast and I'm looking into it. If this bug happens to you, then please let me know which skill it happened to and what the stats of it was (power, duration \, and cooldown).
More content will also come later on, I plan on expanding the rebirth tree as well as the endgame.
Thanks for playing

Holy moly! Gridle has officially released!
First of all I'd like to thank all of you who have tried the demo for your kind words. It really means a ton hearing appreciation for a project that I've spent countless hours working on. Gridle has been in the works on and off for about 1 1/2 years in between my college studies (I'm actually about to start writing my master thesis this semester).
On top of this release, the second half of the Gridle OST (Created by Falconshield) is now available on Youtube (my favorite of the tracks is either Victory In Sight \ or Take the plunge). The full OST will also be released in the future as a Steam package!
As with most game releases, there are things I had in mind to add/change but had to cut it in order to make the release date so you can expect some updates in the future. Here are some of the things I plan on doing in future updates:
Fix better controller/Steamdeck support, specifically the UI navigation is still a bit wonky sometimes
Change/Buff some of the skills (Mage damage spell, Miner heal skill, Archer critical shot skill)
Add lots of more rebirth knowledge (I have many ideas that just didn't make the cut in time for realease)
Add more end-game content, specifically more items that are added to the shop, more late game rebirth knowledge, late-game enemies and more runes
Custom game difficulties - With the game settings you can control, I plan on adding a feature where you can save game settings as your own game difficulty and share it with others
Look over the Archer and Mage minigame (The yellow target in Archery minigames is a bit too hard to hit, and potentially two possible line distribution requirements should be listed for Mage minigame to make it a bit easier to fulfill it)
If you find any bugs or other issues, then please report them either in the Steam discussions or (preferably) in the Gridle Discord Server
If you enjoy the game, then please consider leaving a review as that helps out a ton in the Steam algorithm (and reading them is \ fun ːsteamhappyː)!
Thanks for playing <3

Hey everyone! Here's a quick little update to the demo, had to put this one out there asap due to a memory leak bug in the Unity version I was using. The following things have been changed & added:
Updated Unity version to mitigate a bug where objects with a "Rigidbody" component (basically anything with physics) would cause memory leaks.
Fixed a bug where shop prices would vary when spam clicking the Shop button
Fixed a bug where screen resolutions would change when going to the main menu/turning off desktop mode
Added 4 new runes (one for each party class)
Songs now restart when you reach a boss (can be turned off in Audio Settings)
Input glyphs are now displayed in many places instead of hard coded text
When starting a new save, you can now lock the difficulty, meaning it can not be changed later. This does not do anything other than add a lock icon to your save file for bragging rights ;)
Since this update involved an update in the Unity version, some bugs may have appeared (although hopefully none) so let me know if you encounter any issues :)
Dont forget to Wishlist the game
Hey everyone! First of all I'd like to thank and welcome all the new players who have come to try the Demo and Wishlist Gridle since it got covered by Idle Cub. Your support means a ton <3 Now, a mere 2 weeks remain until Gridle has its official launch and I couldn't be more excited! I've pretty much finished all of the content for the game so now I'm just spending some time playtesting and doing some minor polish and bug fixes. Oh, and the first half of the Gridle OST is now available on Youtube which is pretty cool. The second half will drop on Launch day..
..oh, yes, the launch day. If you are not reading this post the day it gets posted then "in 2 weeks" wont be very accurate. So, the launch day for Gridle is set to Wednesday 21st January 2026.
Alright, not sure what else to write... Wishlist the game if you haven't already :) See you in 2 weeks

Hey everyone! Gridle has just received a major update to the demo just in time for the Taskbar Treasures Week! Come check it out! The update has changed and added the following things:
Desktop mode! By pressing F3, you can now toggle between the game being in a normal window and sitting at the bottom of your desktop. Hold F3 to open desktop-mode specific settings
Runes have been added! Unlock runes and equip them when rebirthing to grant the fortune and misfortunes that they bring. Runes will allow you do make different "builds" that are optimized for your specific playstyle
Post-processing effects have been added. Gridle now looks much better!
Fast-forward can now be toggled instead of needing to hold space (turn it on in General Settings)
And lots of other smaller tweaks that I can't list individually ;)
Dont forget to Wishlist the game
Hey everyone! Just thought I'd post a quick little update on the development and state of Gridle seeing as the game is now 2 months away from release. Some of the major new features and changes that I've been working on lately is:
Runes
Each new rebirth you do in Gridle can now be vastly different in the way you play with the new addition of runes! Runes are unlocked when you rebirth if you meet each specific runes unlock criteria (usually related to what effect the rune has) and can be equipped before starting a new run. To equip a rune, you need to unlock rune slots trough rebirth knowledge. A maximum of 5 runes can be equipped at a time
Desktop mode
Finally! Gridle will be playable as a transparent small window at the bottom of your screen. This means you can manage your party even while doing other tasks on your device! Desktop mode also has support for separate settings, meaning you can for instance have desktop mode be on mute while the "normal mode" has audio.
Party orb & Minigames
This feature has been in the game since before the Demo was released but it wasn't ready to be played at that time. Party orbs will appear after a certain number of hours and are used to permanently buff one class, once a class has had at least one party orb applied, a minigame correlating to them will be unlocked. Minigames are currently the only way of obtaining support classes in Gridle.
Full OST Complete
The full OST of the game is now complete. It's been composed by the super talented Falconshield and I can't wait for you all to hear it!
Steamdeck & Controller support
I've been investing some time in getting the game fully playable on a controller as well as on the Steamdeck. There's still some parts to be done here but in it's current state, Gridle is 90% playable on a controller and 100% playable on Steamdeck (although there's definitely some polish needed here)
Thanks for reading, and don't forget to Wishlist the game!
Hey everyone! First of all I'd like to give a massive thank you to everyone whom have tried out the Gridle demo and wishlisted it thus far! Hearing from people who have played and enjoyed the game means the world to me <3
Now I have another big demo update for you all! It has added a few big things and tweaked some other smaller things. More specifically:
Added Pumpkin smash event, acquire a halloween tablet from a special new enemy or from the shop and send your party on a Pumpkin smash event!
Added Party presets
Skills can now be used per member instead of per class and now have their own separate cooldowns (you can still shift click skills to use the same skill on ALL duplicate party members)
Skills can now be max bought by shift clicking the buy slot (same as with upgrades)
Bosses now have footstep sounds and makes the screen shake
The mages spells are now penetrating, you can also click their spells to have them bounce back at the enemy in front
Moved some mage rebirth knowledge forward in the rebirth tree
Cursor charge (rebirth knowledge) now adds a slider under the cursor to indicate its charge
Replaced Knight skill "skillful damage" with "Blade clash"
Chests can now drop an item when destroyed
Added an option to disable screen shake & Big texts (the accumulated Multiplier texts that appear in the middle of the screen)
And some other smaller tweaks that I probably forgot to list ;)
Gridle was originally planned to Release on December 2025, due to time issues and December generally being a bad time to release an indie Game, I have decided to push the release date back a month to January 20th 2026, this delay will allow me to polish Gridle into the awesome game I think it can become. So mark your calendars and I'll see you then :)
Dont forget to Wishlist the game
Hey everyone! First of all, thanks to all of you who have tried out the demo and wishlisted Gridle thus far, it really means a lot to see so many people enjoy the game! The demo has just been updated with the following things (I may have forgotten to list some changes):
Enemies now run into the game instead of just popping up
You can now press R to instantly respawn your entire party
World 2 now has a boss music layer
Removed the un-implemented "get/set string" in the game settings panel
Fixed a bug with enemy skill locale string (in autoassign panel)
Fixed a bug where enemy skill buttons would not show up after unlocking them
Removed support class upgrade button (support classes are not available in the Demo)
Lots of UI improvements
UI can now be navigated with a controller (Full controller support not implemented yet)
Rebirth knowledge now shows as soon as you hover over the slot, clicking the slot now buys the knowledge
Moved the buff slots from left to the right side of the screen to prevent it blocking important UI elements
Once again, thanks a lot for playing the Demo, full Release is planned for December so stay tuned :) - Seyloj
