This update introduces the Weapon Compendium and includes major adjustments to the costs, production rates, and research processes of several meta-progression buildings.
New: Weapon Compendium
You can now access the Weapon Compendium by selecting the “Compendium” button in the upper-right corner of the main menu.
The Compendium displays all weapons you have discovered so far, including:
[]Basic weapons and fused weapons[]Weapon names, types, and icons[]Descriptions of each weapon’s main stats and effects[]The basic weapon combinations required to create fused weapons
We hope the Compendium will make it easier to plan your builds and allow you to review the weapons you have discovered outside of combat.
The Compendium is updated based on the discovery records in your current save file. As you obtain new weapons, their corresponding entries will gradually be added to the Compendium.
Meta-Progression Building Adjustments
We have reviewed the upgrade costs and resource production of buildings across multiple stages of progression. Previously, the costs of certain buildings increased too quickly, while their production improvements were not significant enough. This often forced players to spend excessive time waiting or repeatedly gathering the same resources.
This update includes the following adjustments:
[]Reduced the base upgrade costs of multiple Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 buildings[]Reduced the cost scaling of several buildings at higher upgrade levels[]Increased the production of mining, Helium-3, research, and certain advanced-resource buildings[]Increased the capacity of certain storage buildings[]Improved the production efficiency of certain fuels, crystal cores, and advanced resources[]Reduced the waiting times associated with the Mental Purification Chamber, Factory, and Battlesuit research processes- Increased the chance of unlocking a new Battlesuit through Battlesuit research from 25% to 35%
These adjustments will also apply to existing save files. You do not need to start a new game. Buildings that have already been constructed or upgraded will continue operating according to the new values.
Why We Made These Changes
The meta-progression building system in 《禁忌星域》 was originally designed to ensure that resources obtained during each expedition could be converted into long-term progression. However, under the previous balance, waiting and repetitive resource farming took up too much of the experience compared with the satisfaction provided by actual progression.
The goals of these changes are to:
[]Make progression after each expedition feel more noticeable[]Reduce the pressure to repeatedly play the same map for a single resource[]Make new characters, Battlesuits, and later systems available earlier[]Reduce the impact of offline waiting on normal progression
Future Improvements
The Weapon Compendium and meta-progression balance adjustments are only the beginning of this round of improvements. We are currently continuing to investigate the following issues:
[]Frame drops, stuttering, and excessive visual effects during the later stages of Endless Mode[]Insufficient explanations for certain systems, modifiers, and Battlesuit levels[]Improved notifications for changes to tags and modifiers before and after weapon fusion[]Translation and text-layout issues in English and other languages- Controller navigation in certain menus
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to play the game and leave detailed feedback. Whether your review is positive or negative, specific descriptions of the problems you encounter help us determine which issues genuinely need to be addressed first.
Thank you for your support and patience.
