Gaucho and the Grassland Celebrates Its First Anniversary with a New Demo and Mobile Version Announcement ㅤ

The Brazilian adventure inspired by Gaúcho culture celebrates its first anniversary with exciting news for the community. ㅤ

Epopeia Games is celebrating the first anniversary of Gaucho and the Grassland with a fully revamped demo, a 35% discount on Steam, and the announcement that the game's mobile version is in the final stages of development.

Released in July 2025, Gaucho and the Grassland has won over players by blending exploration, farming, and storytelling in a cozy adventure inspired by the culture, landscapes, and traditions of southern Brazil. ㅤ

The new demo has been completely rebuilt to reflect the game's current experience and, for the first time, allows players to transfer their progress to the full version, making it the perfect starting point for new players.

Another highlight is Gaucho Mobile, scheduled for release on Android in late 2026. Developed in partnership with Izyplay, the new title will feature an original prequel story set before the events of the main game. ㅤ

The Patch 09 is out! Many fixes and improvements have been made based on your feedback!!

CORRECTED TOPICS:

• Fixed issues where the player’s controls would lock when entering or leaving the accordion show;

• Fixed a problem with the dog’s movement, where it could get stuck in certain areas of the beach;

• Adjusted the positions of digging spots to avoid places the dog couldn’t reach;

• Adjustments to some interface icons and images.

In honor of Farroupilha Month, Gaucho and the Grassland is receiving a special update that introduces new mechanics, exclusive skins, customization items, and adjustments that further enrich the player experience.

The Magic of the Gaita

The highlight of this update is the arrival of the Gaita, an instrument that players can now play in the game. Beyond music, it also introduces a brand-new teleportation mechanic to travel across different regions of the map. To celebrate tradition, five brand-new songs have been added, which players can perform, enhancing the cultural immersion.

New Traditional Skins

A set of unique skins inspired by great historical figures and Gaucho culture, such as Bento Gonçalves, Anita Garibaldi, and the Black Lancers. On top of that, there are new horse skins, hats, and the prenda dress.

These skins can be earned as mission rewards or unlocked through a new CTG minigame.

New Stylized Assets Inspired by Southern Soccer Teams

You’ll now be able to build your ranch with the colors of the most iconic soccer teams from Rio Grande do Sul!

New NPC: The Patrão

The Patrão brings a fresh dynamic to CTGs. After repairing or rebuilding a region’s CTG, the Patrão will appear, and players can talk to him to start the live gaita show minigame. Depending on how the audience reacts to your performance, the Patrão will hand out rewards for the shows.
