Thanks to everyone playing Game Store Chronicle and sharing your feedback with us. Your support means a lot and helps us keep improving the game.
GSC has already exceeded all of our expectations, and we are incredibly happy with everything that is happening. We will keep working hard to deliver new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
Our goal is to keep a constant evolution: a simulator where you can live and feel the nostalgia of the 80s and 90s, but this time from the other side of the counter.
We are listening to our community, following everything we have worked on last week based on what we saw on game's reviews, game hub discussions and discord chat.
We have added display booths for all 8 consoles in the game;
GSC Mod Studio is available on our website (https://imponix.com). You can download it and try it! It's a standalone app where you can create your own mod and apply it to GSC and, if you want, you can send it to our Steam Workshop. By doing this, players can share their favorite mods with the community. If you have questions, you can access our Discord server to ask.
German support - German speakers, please, if you find something, let us know. That also applies to any other language if you find errors.
Tutorial has changed, no automatic popups anymore. Now it will show a bell on the top-right, then you press C or DPad Up to open the popup, when you want. Do not forget, the commands list, at the bottom-left, they can haver the answer if you don't know how to do something;
Giving change to customers makes more sense now, no more crazy customers paying $13 for a $12 bill. But stay attentive to not make mistakes;
We've changed the way you access reports. Now you have some report sheets on the counter, besides the catalog. Why? Now, in the radial menu where they were, you can access the Gamedex, making it a lot easier to pick posters to customize your store;
Now there is a config where you can hide the commands list on the bottom-left, if you know everything you can have a cleaner HUD;
Notifications about customers and the store stay 2s more on screen;
Removed the evil HAHA, that people hate. There are still noises, but we looking for new ones;
Now you can look, pretty much, straight down, making it easier to mop and pick garbage;
When the player open the front door, it stays open until it's manually closed. If it was opened by customer it will close automatically.
UV of window walls fixed;
When you are holding an empty box the customers are complaining;
Sometimes the delivery was missing boxes;
Fulfill pre made orders when applying "Insta Delivery" boost;
Insta Delivery was not stacking the amount of days if you picked it in sequence;
Customers, sometimes, were walking in place;
Some players had issues when they were rotating the camera, noticing some stuttering. A little change was done for that, let's see if it's better;
When the player was "aiming" a shelf slot from behind the wall and interact it was grabbing a product. That was causing problems when you had a shelf on the store room wall. That is fixed now;
Sometimes garbage and floor stain were appearing outside or under the rug at the front door. Not supposed to happen anymore. (Let me know...these customers...)
As discussed on our Discord server over the past week, the next major feature we’ll be adding to Game Store Chronicle is the highly requested STAFF HIRING system.
As we said from the beginning, we are listening to the community. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be working on a system that allows store owners to hire employees to help run their stores.
We’ll be posting details and progress updates on Discord as development moves forward, so we highly recommend joining our server. There, you’ll find the latest news, talk directly with us — all 2 devs 😂 — ask the community questions, share pictures of your stores, and more.
Once again, thank you for all your support, feedback, and for being part of this dream.

Back to the counter. There’s still work to do.
Unfortunately, we ran into some issues with the Japanese localization. Since this isn't something we can properly fix on our own, we've decided to temporarily remove Japanese support while we work on a better solution.
We'll bring it back as soon as we're confident it's in good shape. Thank you for your understanding!
It's just starting, but it's already a place to chat about GSC, give your suggestion, know what's coming next, have an easier way to contact the devs. There is the place where we will be talking about GSC's modding tool.
We’re really glad to finally release it, and honestly, the number of wishlists has been way beyond what we expected. Seeing that many people interested in our game has been amazing for us.
We also want to thank everyone who played the game and shared their honest feedback with us. It was really valuable and helped us improve GSC a lot.
Imponix Game Studio is just two people, and this game has been our after-hours life for almost two years: nights after our 9-to-5 jobs, weekends, a lot of passion, and plenty of “okay, just one more thing.”
Thank you in advance to everyone who wishlisted Game Store Chronicle and plans to buy it. It means a lot to our tiny studio, and we hope you have a great time running your own game store.
We’ve also been watching videos, reading feedback from pre-release players, and collecting ideas for where GSC might go next. We’re excited to keep listening to the community and see what makes sense for the next steps.
Going forward, our main communication channel will be the game’s Community Hub, especially the Feedback sub-forum. It’s the best place to share suggestions, tell us about your experience, and help us understand what feels good or what could be improved.
We also want to highlight the Mod Tool, because we believe it can become a really fun way for the community to customize the game and make their own version of the store experience.
🎉 The wait is almost over! 🎉
We have a quick release timing update for Game Store Chronicle.
The game was originally planned for July 6th, but the release date is now set to July 13th, it's official.
This game has been a true labor of love. We've poured countless hours, plenty of coffee, and probably a few too many late nights into bringing our dream retro game store to life. Seeing it finally reach your hands is something we're genuinely excited about.
Once the game launches, we'd love for you to leave a review and share your thoughts in our Community Hub. We'll be keeping a close eye on your feedback, suggestions, and ideas.
Our plan is simple: as long as there's interest and demand, we'll keep improving Game Store Chronicle with updates, fixes, and new features inspired by the community.
And that's not all! Shortly after launch, we'll be sharing a modding tool on our social channels. This tool will allow you to customize product names, descriptions, labels, and more, making your store feel even more like your version of Game Store Chronicle.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey. We can’t wait to see the stores you build and the questionable pricing decisions you'll make along the way.
See you very soon! 🎮
One of the features we're really proud of in Game Store Chronicle is the Reports screen.
Instead of making decisions based on guesswork, you'll have access to detailed information about your store's performance. Track your sales, identify your best-selling products, monitor your profits, and understand what's really driving your business.
These reports help you answer important questions like: • Which products should I restock? • What's making me the most money? • Which categories are underperforming? • Where should I invest next?
It's a feature we don't often see in games of this genre, but we believe having access to meaningful business data makes managing your store much more rewarding—and a lot more strategic.
After all, every successful store owner knows that good decisions start with good information. 📈
Hey everyone,
The demo is back.
Over the past weeks, we’ve been heavily reworking the game based on your feedback from Steam Next Fest, while also improving the overall gameplay feel and pacing.
A lot has changed, and the experience already feels much stronger, more immersive, and more intense than before.
We’re also happy to share that the game now supports gamepads, and the latest version has already been tested on Steam Deck.
There’s still some final polishing ahead, but we’re excited to let everyone play the new version.
Thank you again for all the feedback and support — it’s helping shape Gravebound into something much bigger.
As before, all feedbacks are important to improve so we can shape GSC as best as we can!
Hey everyone,
We want to share an important update regarding the demo.
We’ve decided to remove the demo for now as we begin a major refactoring of the game. This work is based directly on the valuable feedback we received during Steam Next Fest, and our goal is to significantly improve the overall experience.
This means reworking core systems and restructuring parts of the game to make it more polished, stable, and enjoyable for everyone.
We truly appreciate all the feedback, support, and time you’ve given us so far—it’s helping shape the game into something much better.
We’ll keep you updated on our progress and can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.
Thanks for being part of this journey
