CUTSCENE FIXES / ADDITIONS:

• Added Vines Fragment scene in P5M4 of the Uncharted Wildwoods

OTHER CHANGES / FIXES / ADDITIONS:

• Fixed the bug that's plagued things for a while with the Mega Map vanishing if you enter a new module while the minimap is disabled
• Fixed the wrong "door" size between Room 13 and the Hub in The End
• Databanks had a few missing words fixed on them, especially #147 (Projekt Melody Databank #2)
• Fixed equipping a powerup during a cutscene and the powerup's effect incorrectly apply to Talia during that cutscene (potentially breaking/softlocking the cutscene)
• Fixed being able to jump over the ADMN Spawner with certain powerups
• Fixed zoom/graphics not being drawn properly on a few gallery animations in certain situations
• Fixed being stunned by the Mega Mutabilis carrying over into the victory cutscene if it dies while it's stunned
• Fixed the Infected Rebel vine attack animation not pausing if the game is paused
• Fixed charges not maintaining when going from module to module
• Fixed multiple "initialization scene" bugs, including Talia jumping up into a new map sometimes causing her to just "glide" into the new map visually and GUI flickering
• Fixed multiple visual issues with Powerup indicator bars (such as the one for the Drumset) vanishing, staying despite unequipping, freezing, etc.
• Fixed the poison effect from the Coral powerup so it works on all enemies
• Fixed the Sewing Needles powerup combo so it properly increments on the Mega Mutabilis and breakable walls during the ADMN Spawner fight
• Fixed the Peace Symbol powerup so it works properly against the Arctic Grunt and Sphere
• Fixed the French Frying Pan powerup causing an animation hiccup when gaining health while running
• Fixed the Japanese Knife powerup shockwaves so they properly collide with Tile-Growers and Gravity Doors
• Fixed the Japanese Knife powerup shockwave's lighting effect being misaligned with the shockwave sprite
• Fixed the Hammer powerup instant shots so they properly collide with Gravity Doors, Tile-Growers and various Switches
• Fixed the Hammer powerup instant shots so they become visible normal shots when fired over a Savepad or near an Electric Cannon
• Fixed the Hammer powerup instant shots so they stay invisible after bouncing on an Ice mirror wall
• Fixed the Hammer powerup instant shots so they can properly hit moving platforms in the Uncharted Wildwoods
• Fixed triggering a cutscene while wearing any powerups that affects Talia's max health, so that it doesn't reduce her HP by 1 unintentionally due to a rounding error
• Fixed un-equipping the Treadmill powerup while at low health being able to reduce Talia's health below 0, putting her in a bugged state
• Changed the HUD health bar to shrink or grow based on powerups which affect Talia's max health, to make her current max health more apparent
• Changed the color for powerup indicator bars (such as the Drumset) from blue to yellow to make them easier to see on all levels
• Added a number on the HUD to display the current Max Health bonus of the Treadmill powerup while equipped
• Added a number on the HUD to display the current overheal amount of the Protein Drink powerup while equipped
• Added SFX to a few powerups
• Added missing WREN CG to the gallery
• Added a lot of new SFX in general

PATCH #7 IS NOW LIVE!

------------------------------- This patch has a small handful of gameplay quality of life improvements and bugfixes, as well as a significant assortment of new sound effects added. However, there's a LOT more we've got done behind the scenes that'll be in the next patch, but we didn't want to put it in until it was 100% complete. And speaking of that next patch, we're happy to announce that the next patch will have all remaining story segments left without voicework or finalized script finished off!

This "core content complete patch" will release during September 2025 if all goes well.

CUTSCENE FIXES / ADDITIONS:

• Added a pink "!" over Faye's head for the P6M2 double machine scene trigger in the Gratification Factory
• Added more flag settings to Jon Struger's scene in P3M2, Faye's scene in P2M2, and Spartacus's scene in P1M5, all in the Celodst Resupply
• Removed a line from a cutscene variant in the Volcanic Mines Hub Room scene when you return to the room that was giving conflicting info about your objectives
• Removed the RNG required to trigger a specific Faux Ending
• Edited a rare variant with a Faye conversation to remove plot hole regarding what Vie should know about Talia/Faye
• Fixed a variant of Mackster's scene in P3M5 of the Volcanic Mines to play the correct voice lines for two lines
• Fixed a bug that occurred when triggering a specific Faux Ending
• Fixed a sound effect not playing during the Expander CG scene in the Uncharted Wildwoods
• Fixed a variant of the ADMN Spawner's defeat scene in the Volcanic Mines that had a missing parenthesis
• Fixed missing audio during Lux Lynns' scene in P3M6 of the Uncharted Wildwoods
• Fixed an incorrect line during the "return to Save Pad" scenes in the Hub for the Uncharted Wildwoods
• Fixed two line errors in Voitiry Cuillei's scene in Room 3 (Shifted Brane) in The End

OTHER CHANGES / FIXES / ADDITIONS:

• Added over 200 sound effects throughout the game
• Added alternate health orb sprites for the Uncharted Wildwoods and The End
• Disabled self-stunning in multiple locations to prevent players from respawning in unintended places
• Disabled the auto-jumping cybermine effect during the Vie fight in the Uncharted Wildwoods as a temporary solution to an existing bug
• Changed the layout for the Miasma Containment Area (Fragment Room) in the Celodst Resupply, to prevent a rare possibility of the player overshooting the Fragment if they used a Magma Dash at the absolute boundary of the cutscene trigger, which would softlock the game
• Fixed issues with numerous existing SFX
• Fixed icons on the megamap showing in unexplored rooms when in a transition module
• Fixed the portal not being visible on Room 42 of The End
• Fixed the current objective not showing while travelling between Nodes
• Fixed the gallery music not working correctly
• Fixed volume issues when setting options on the title screen
• Fixed WREN saying his fight dialogue while in the Laboratory
• Fixed a rare issue with the Gratification Factory Hub where you could spawn upside down on the Save Pad after completing a Path
• Fixed landing on top of the end-path roots of P1M4 of the Uncharted Wildwoods if you jumped as far as possible before activating the scene
• Fixed visual inconsistencies in P4M3 and P1M5 of the Volcanic Mines
• Fixed Talia being able to spawn in an unintended place in the Gratification Factory's first QA Room if you used a Magma Dash while entering it

First, to get it out of the way, we've got a 10% off sale for the next week!

Now as far as the next patch goes, we're reaching the end-game of getting all core content in.

So, to not spend time on "packaging things together" for playable builds and instead push forward to get things done ASAP, we're not doing a new patch this month.

As a result, the next patch we release will be the one that should have all core content in it; at the very worst, it'll be missing only a few things.

Shooting for around the end of Summer 2025 for all of that, but once all core content is in, we'll have a big update and notifications about it on all social media.

Once all core content's in, then we'll finish off the level editor, speedrun mode, SFW mode, bonus free DLC maps/content/cutscenes and so on, while starting up work on our next game.

(We'll still of course continue to do bugfixes and quality of life additions for Future Fragments for a long time, too.)

PATCH #6 IS NOW LIVE!

BIG CHANGES / ADDITIONS / FIXES:

• Added a button prompt to trigger an instant upwards boost when Talia is hovering at the top of an air stream from an air vent in the Volcanic Mines
• Added the missing animations to the gallery (Talia self-pleasure, Mega Mutabilis holding Vie, the stealth area ones, etc.)
• Added a special "leeway" mechanic to Talia's freeze shot ability, where it should now be significantly easier to hit and freeze fast-moving targets, such as the projectiles fired by the cannons in the Gratification Factory
• Added a brief tutorial text after defeating the ADMN Spawner and moving into the first "In-Between" Module, that shows the controls for the fire dash and the fire charge shot, as well as informing about the ability to toggle auto-charging in the options menu
• Added new, unique visual hit effect for Talia's basic shots
• Added voicework for the Gratification Factory and Uncharted Wildwoods Gold Databanks
• Adjusted the ice platforms created by Talia's freeze shot ability to have their collision box made 25% wider, to make it easier to jump to and from the ice blocks (the visuals haven't changed, only the collision box size)
• Adjusted the stealth section to allow Talia to take 2 hits before being KO'd instead of 1 to make it easier
• Adjusted the Volcanic Mines Hard #4 Achievement for finishing a path without taking damage and the Gratification Factory Hard #2 Achievement for finishing a path with a Negative powerup so that they can now both be obtained from re-doing already completed paths
• Fixed a crash that happened as a result of having Celodst Resupply Laser Puzzles solved or not solved in certain circumstances
• Fixed crouching not panning the camera down correctly since the latest patch
• Fixed an issue with a specific version of the Pacifism Ideal bonus you can get from not killing any enemies on a Path; since Vie requires you to kill enemies in the last room of Paths within the Gratification Factory, you can now get this bonus despite killing said enemies as long as you still don't kill any enemies in any previous rooms on that given Path

CUTSCENE FIXES / ADDITIONS:

• Adjusted a scene with the the shadowy lady so she won't help with the Fragment-based Laser Puzzle if she's already left the Celodst Resupply due to Talia losing too many times against the Celodst Emperor
• Removed the "hint" scene for the Volcanic Mines air vents before entering the actual Hub Room, now that Talia can just boost off of the air stream without needing timing to do so
• Fixed a rare situation with Nate Allen in P6M1 of the Uncharted Wildwoods where his scene would start up despite him having been killed prior
• Fixed an issue with the shadowy lady helping you solve Laser Puzzles in the Celodst Resupply, in that if you chose to have her solve the first one but refused help with the second, it would still have her solve all of them
• Fixed an issue with a scene on End Map 20 that would lead Talia to mention Shea, despite being on a story path that prevents Shea from appearing there to begin with

OTHER CHANGES / FIXES / ADDITIONS:

• Added missing SFX for Talia's self-pleasure animation as well as the stealth area animations
• Added missing vibration SFX for the relevant Gratification Factory enemies in the gallery (so the gallery matches the in-game SFX for those enemies)
• Added a new music track for Vie's Hideout
• Added new graphical effect for Vie's Cyber Mines during her battle, to help further highlight them visually when they're primed
• Added new animations for the Celodst Resupply Laser Puzzle target rings, to make them easier to spot and to differentiate if they are lit up or not
• Added "off" variants for the Uncharted Wildwoods databanks, so you can tell if you've collected them already like in other levels
• Added in new visual for the switches in The End, giving them a distinct look in both realms
• Added new functionality to the Celodst Resupply Laser Puzzles to prevent the shadowy lady from appearing to help you for a given puzzle if you'd already solved it
• Adjusted multiple Modules within the Celodst Resupply to give more opportunities to get the Ice Hard #3 Achievement
• Adjusted the visual hit effect for Talia's fire charge shot
• Adjusted the duration of shots bounced off of ice mirrors in the Celodst Resupply, making it less frustrating to try to obtain the Ice Hard #3 Achievement
• Adjusted P5M4 in the Volcanic Mines to make crossing the lava make more sense with the fans
• Fixed Jumper Bot animations being vertically misaligned in the gallery
• Fixed diagonal shots being visually rotated incorrectly after bouncing on a ice mirror

PATCH #5.1 IS NOW LIVE!

HOW TO REFRESH/UPDATE TO THE NEW PATCH:

NEW CUTSCENES:

• Cutscene where Talia reacts to Vaan Brown being honest if you get specific information from him in P2M5 of the Uncharted Wildwoods, then go to the Fragment Room above him

CUTSCENE FIXES / ADDITIONS:

• Adjusted cutscene triggers for all Fragments in The End to prevent cutscenes from playing before picking up a Fragment
• Adjusted how the “Laser Lover” Steam Achievement works (and its description), for a more logical way to achieve it; now you can get it without triggering any help offers from the shadowy lady + it only goes off once you’ve actually completed all 6 laser puzzles without help
• Adjusted cutscene commands to prevent "wobbling" effect on Talia when she completes specific paths in the Gratification Factory
• Adjusted the Ideals needed for the Clean achievement in the Uncharted Wildwoods to make it a bit easier to get
• Adjusted the “Return to Save Pad” cutscene in the Volcanic Mines to not have redundant lines about the Silver Databanks
• Added mastered audio put for a few cutscenes that had unmastered audio prior
• Fixed the game potentially crashing if a laser puzzle in the Celodst Resupply was solved by the shadowy lady
• Fixed audio not playing for some of the new cutscenes from the last patch
• Fixed a powerup not appearing in the Gratification Factory room that Jason Bilder's in
• Fixed the Gratification Factory Hard #4 achievement triggering unintentionally when re-entering the boss fight after having lost once
• Fixed numerous errors with the Vaan Brown cutscene and all cutscenes connected to it
• Fixed incorrect flag setup for Clean in the Uncharted Wildwoods that would cause you to repeat a cutscene variant with him indefinitely
• Fixed incorrect flag setup for Carpset Dewuji in P5M1 of the Uncharted Wildwoods that would cause you to repeat a cutscene variant with him indefinitely
• Fixed audio not playing for a line during the "double machine" scene in the Gratification Factory
• Fixed the placement of cutscenes in Room 20 of The End around the Fragment there to prevent the cutscenes from playing in the wrong order

OTHER CHANGES / FIXES / ADDITIONS:

• Adjusted E3 in the Celodst Resupply some to allow for better movement flow and to prevent the Shell Celodst in there from glitching into walls when attacking
• Adjusted text for the Gold Databanks for the Gratification Factory and Uncharted Wildwoods to be more clear
• Adjusted the description for the 3 new Steam Achievements to be non-hidden
• Adjusted the description for the Uncharted Wildwoods Hard #1 achievement to be more clear as to what you have to do
• Adjusted platform placements in Room 38 of The End to prevent a visual glitch possibility during acquiring the Fragment
• Fixed the zoom not working properly for the ADMN Spawner, Celodst Emperor, and Stockades scenes
• Fixed an issue with Steam Achievements not being retroactively awarded
• Fixed all unintentional instances of entities spawning above the ground upon map loading, to prevent the “floating/falling” entities effect you’d unintentionally see sometimes
• Fixed misaligned doors in the first Stealth Module
• Fixed the position of an Ice Grunt on P4M2 of the Celodst Resupply that made it difficult to hit them up close
• Fixed a grammar error in Thomas Thompson's Databank in the Uncharted Wildwoods
