Reports have emerged of incidents at a local data center involving an individual who allegedly claims to be from the year 2029. This masked figure was reportedly seen near the main facility in the abandoned videogame section.
After the individual was detained, witnesses at the scene stated that the culprit repeatedly shouted, “If this game dies, everyone dies!”
Let’s talk about what today’s update brings!
1 New Character - Cloud
They’re a raccoon. They like trash. But try him, because he doesn’t play like trash.
5 New Cards
You can discover them all in game, but as for a taste…
The End – This card is a debuff that, when played, applies several interface-related effects to the entire opposing team:
Black bars will gradually appear on their screen (from the outside inward), eventually covering everything until only a narrow line of vision remains in the center.
Once the black bars finish moving, a letter animation will appear displaying “The End,” similar to old movies.
After a few seconds, those letters will disappear.
The black bars will remain for everyone until the end of the round, when they will disappear.
Back to the Past - This card is a Joker that affects all players in the match the moment it is played. When activated, it rewinds the match by seconds, affecting health and position.
Holy Lantern - A new little buddy that flashes everybody who is around and sees his eyes directly.
Trash Thief - Now you can take the trash of the enemies (good for the planet).
Life Support - A brand new helper that keeps you alive while you are around it.
1 New Map - Data Center
Dive through servers, loose wires, and servos to take out your buds before they use their own computing power (ie., their brains) to do the same to you.
7 Skins
With the introduction of 4 skins for Cloud, new skins from the future bring SABLE, RIBBERTO, and MYK into their adult versions. Timey Wimey BS indeed.
New Prestige levels
For veteran players, two new Prestige levels are now available. Another run?
Everything else, well, just play the game; you’ll see it all. Oh ya. WE HAVE TWO MORE UPDATES PLANNED THIS YEAR.
PS: This was a bit of a weird update, considering we’ve been away from the game for almost two years, which is kind of crazy to think about. It’s also our first update involving consoles, so a lot of things were new to us on that front. Because of that, our main focus was on avoiding new bugs rather than fixing older issues, so if you spot any bugs or have any questions, please let us know.
