Hi everyone,
We just released one of the biggest updates for FPV Labs so far.The main focus of this update is a complete overhaul of the physics and input systems. Physics simulation and controller inputs now run at a fixed rate of up to 240 Hz, making flight behavior significantly more consistent across different PCs, graphics settings, and frame rates. This means:More consistent flight behavior across different systems
Lower input and PID latency
More responsive controls
Flight physics now remain consistent regardless of FPS
Less floaty overall flight feel
Added fixed 90–240 Hz physics simulation. Can be adjusted in the Video Settings.
Added fixed 240 Hz controller inputs
Improved lift model
Improved thrust curve for more realistic throttle feel and hover behavior
Improved crash behavior
Improved PID system with higher usable PID ranges
Added latency simulation option
Added Nvidia Reflex support for supported GPUs
Improved performance statistics display
DLSS modes now show their internal resolution scale for more clarity
Minor UI tweaks
Tweaks to the level border system
Minor map fixes
Hi everyone, We just released another small update for FPV Labs, mainly focused on fixes for DLSS, file saving, and performance.
Fixed DLSS modes not applying correctly
Fixed the Resolution Scale slider being reset when changing Anti-Aliasing settings
Added some performance optimizations to the Chemiewerk map
Fixed settings not saving for some users
Moved settings and preset directories to AppData/Local/FpvLabs instead of the user’s Documents folder
Removed undocumented button mappings that opened the configurator. This fixes accidental Alt-Tabbing behavior
Fixed the FPS counter showing an incorrect framerate
Fixed calibration reports becoming too long after calibrating multiple times in a row
We hope this update helps with issues around saving settings, presets, and graphics options, while also improving performance for DLSS users. Thank you again for all your feedback. There is more coming very soon.
Hi everyone, Thank you so much for checking out FPV Labs during Early Access. Your feedback and constructive criticism mean a lot to us. We have already started addressing some of the most commonly mentioned issues and requests, and this update includes the first round of improvements.
Added experimental lift setting The drone now needs less thrust to maintain altitude during horizontal flight. You can enable it on your own presets under the Physics tab.
Crash behavior is less extreme now
Added the ability to arm/disarm via keyboard mapping: A
For now, key mappings are not user-configurable yet. This will change in the future.
Reduced the chance of glitching through the floor
Removed film grain post-process effects
Costa Roja is now more colorful
Added a setting to turn off crash sounds
Fixed incorrect loading of sound presets
Added a list of key mappings to the help screen
Added a Beta badge to features that are still in development
Fixed menu layouts on taller screen aspect ratios
Fixed text input fields not being scrollable
Several minor UI tweaks and fixes
Improved stick calibration
Added a minimal report after stick calibration
Thanks again for all the feedback and for helping us improve FPV Labs.
