Hello to all our old friends of Fortress 2 BLUE,：

We’re the development team behind Fortress 2 BLUE. Today, we’re writing to you with a very special feeling in our hearts, to share a few words straight from the heart. When we first set out to make this new version, we didn’t have any grand, lofty plans. We just knew that those afternoons – huddled in internet cafes or in front of home computers, calculating angles, betting on the wind, and settling the score with a single perfect shot – deserved not to be forgotten.

We know there are countless games out there today with stunning graphics and intricate, layered gameplay. Our little tank game can’t hold a candle to them, not by a long shot. But we made it anyway. Because even to this day, we still see you – our friends – hosting lobbies on private servers and old legacy versions, waiting for old pals to drop in for a round. For that alone, every single bit of it was worth it.

We know full well that this version isn’t perfect. There are still so many places that need polishing and refining. This isn’t some ambitious, big-budget competitive blockbuster – and we don’t have the means to make it into one, either. All we want is to leave a simple, welcoming "little home" for everyone who still remembers Fortress – a place you can always come back to, any time. No complicated progression systems, no forced grind or mandatory daily tasks. Just the pure, classic parabolic shooting, and the familiar roar of artillery fire you know and love.

To keep this little home going, we ran a version update and maintenance on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. During this update, we ported over all the beloved content from the classic web version that you all miss so deeply. We know what so many of you care about most is your hard-earned "stash" from back in the day. That’s why, for this update, we did everything in our power to migrate all the points and remaining Diamonds from your old accounts over to the new version. This is our promise to our old friends.

After that update went live, every player who logs into the game can claim a little token of our gratitude from us, sent straight to your in-game mailbox:
