A new and exciting Mojave Conquest map, a Revolver sidearm, dragging dead teammates (and opponents), team balancing tweaks, and more! Introducing, this month’s new update for Forefront!
Find out more details in our Discord and read the full changelog below!
Deep within O.R.E. territory, the Coalition forces attack one of the original production and refinement plants of red orpiment, which has since been retrofitted into an ICBM development program. The Coalition seeks to dismantle O.R.E.'s ICBM development program before it threatens the Coalition’s existence upon its completion.
We can’t wait for players to tackle this fresh new Conquest map situated in the driest desert in North America. Let us know what you think!
A new sidearm makes its debut in Forefront as we introduce our players to the Marshal-6, a revolver with six bullets in the chamber! Empty it, load it, spin it, flick it shut, and shoot to kill. There are plenty of attachments to unlock of the gun, including a “Speedloader” attachment that allows the player to reload the revolver with all six bullets in one go. The Marshal-6 is highly interactive and is there at your hip to become a trusty partner, primed and ready for any duel.
The most popular community request makes it into the game. From now on, you can drag perished players away, whether it’s to safely revive them, or to keep your enemies from reviving their fallen teammates. To drag a dead player, simply grab them anywhere and pull them to safety (or peril).
As a team we think it’s incredibly fun, we can’t wait to see what you guys think!
The PCVR version of Forefront has received quite the facelift since we first released in Early Access. Today, even more additions to those enhancements have arrived. From moving trees, to environmental particles on various maps.
Oh, and yes, the PSVR2 version is still in the works and will have some of the PCVR enhancements as well!
As always, let us know what you think about the game, and the update in our Discord. We’re always looking forward to your feedback.
Cheers, and see you in the game! -TF

Fjord Conquest, some Quality of Life improvements, better water and post-processing for PCVR, an updated roadmap, and much more! Welcome to a new update for Forefront!
Find out more details in our Discord and read the full changelog below!
Our team is still hard at work crafting a brand-new map. To hold you over, we present a new field test map that was suggested quite a bit by our community, Fjord Conquest! Instead of pushing the enemy back or protecting your position surrounded by gorgeous frosty nature, conquer every snowy point and deplete enemy reinforcements until they’re forced to wave the white flag.
Team balancing has finally made it into the game, together with a bunch of smaller things to tweak and improve user experience in Forefront. For example, the KLAV-6 has gotten another nerf at great request from our community, some UI polish makes Rush and Conquest objective notifications more readable, engineers will now see repair icons for vehicles, and much more. Discover all tweaks and improvements in the changelog below this post or in our Discord. Additionally, from improved water visuals, to SSAO, and Bloom. Even more PCVR Enhancements have made it into Forefront, all with options to disable and enable to your heart’s content. And great news, because we’re still not done and have a couple more enhancements in the works.
In the main menu, players will also discover that the whiteboard has been updated with some features and content we have planned for future updates. Let us know what you are most excited about. As always, let us know what you think about the game, and the update in our Discord. We’re always looking forward to your feedback. Cheers, and see you in the game!

We’re back with another update, soldiers! Oasis Rush, new map variants, a stim gun for medics, customizable scope and sight colors, enhanced terrain visuals for PCVR, and much more!
Find out more details in our Discord and read the full changelog below!
While we’re still working and tinkering away on a fresh new map, our sandy desert map Oasis is getting its Rush makeover. Instead of conquering the dunes, you’ll either be pushing the enemy back and banning them from ever setting foot on that sand again, or you’ll stand your ground and refuse to give in to the enemy.
It was about time! Medic players have been asking for a new toy, and today, we deliver. With the brand-new Stim Gun gadget, you give your teammates (or yourself) both a speed boost, and 50HP instantly, up to a max of 125HP, twenty-five more than the normal maximum amount. It also doesn’t replace the defibrillators, so you’ll have to make the choice if you want this, or the med kits.
Scope color configuration was a popular community suggestion that is now available in the game’s comfort settings. Whether you want your sights and scopes to look a bit different or cooler, or you need this feature for accessibility reasons, you can customize both regular sights and scopes separately to your heart’s content!
The sun has set on both APC Attack Paradise (Conquest) and Apache Attack Iceland, but a new dawn has arrived with APC Thunder on Siberia (Conquest), bringing the APC to the cold snowy mountains, and Iron Scout on Clearwater where Little Birds, AA tanks, and regular tanks will battle it out over Red Orpiment.
The terrain in Forefront has never looked better. You can now enable (or disable) the better looking terrain in the graphics settings on PC. Improved FX, like explosions for instance, have also been added to the game. This was another round of PCVR improvements, and we’re not done just yet.
We’ve taken a bit of time to let the team rest up after our very ambitious Early Access period, so we’re still working on putting our new roadmap together. More on that soon!
As always, let us know what you think about the game, and the update in our Discord. We’re always looking forward to your feedback.
Cheers, and see you in the game! -TF

It is officially here! Not only can you conquer the new Clearwater map and visit the Training Grounds, you will also get to take your shot with a Combat Bow, test out the new drone, rock a field perk of your choice, let that dynamic light shine on PC, and much, MUCH more. Welcome, to Forefront 1.0!
Find out more details in our Discord and read the full changelog below!
Clearwater is a brand-new map for our Conquest mode. It has beautiful nature, and even an urban area that is slightly flooded.
O.R.E. discovered a Red Orpiment deposit under a lake in the nearby area, but to make it easier to extract, they opened the floodgates. Not only was a town flooded, but the local wildlife took a massive hit, too. The Coalition forces could not stand idly by and deployed troops in response. Which side will emerge victorious?
Let your enemies take an arrow to the knee with the Combat Bow, a new weapon Recon players will be able to unlock. Pull that string back and let the arrow find its target.
On the other hand, engineers have a new Drone gadget to deploy. Drones have many applications. Not only can they be used for spotting enemies or picking up and transporting medkits and ammo boxes, they’re also equipped with a zapper that can burst repair vehicles, instakill gadgets, or deal damage to players.
They have finally arrived. Every class gets four Field Perks to choose from, all of them unlockable through the class progression. Every Field Perk will enhance the gameplay of your chosen class. Give them a shot and discover which one works best to level up your play style.
Assault: Munition Specialist, Grenadier, Demolisher, and Vanguard
Engineer: Saboteur, Mechanic, Jump Starter, and Flak Jacket
Medic: Field Medic, Healing Specialist, Combat Readiness, and Scavenger
Recon: Iron Lungs, Thrifter, Executioner, and Field Scout
Now, what do they do, you ask? Get in-game and find out!
The Training Grounds lets players familiarize themselves with the game’s controls, movement, weapons, vehicles, gadgets, etc. without the interruptions of enemy fire or objectives. This island has everything you need to get to know Forefront, and to get some practice in with some of the vehicles, or on the firing range.
For the PCVR lovers among you, dynamic lighting is finally available and is enabled by default under the “Graphics” tab in the game’s settings. As the name suggests, this will make the lighting inside the game behave dynamically granting players, weapons, or any props and the environment as a whole, beautiful shadows. It makes the game feel more realistic and alive, and we can’t wait for you to try it out.
We had more PCVR Upgrades in mind like improved FX, but unfortunately, we couldn’t give them the polish they needed to make it into the 1.0 launch, so you can expect more enhancement in post-launch updates!
Aside from making things look prettier, we also implemented some highly requested features. For example, Helicopters now have physical controls to fly with! Not to worry, the old control scheme still works if you loved it. But for pilots who crave the full experience? Grab the joysticks and have at it!
Finally, we also polished up the audio, improved gun handling and grabbing, added Quick Play, and much more alongside a whole host of bug fixes.
Thank you to everyone who supported the game through Early Access and with the Supporter Pack, and welcome to all the new players that will be joining the O.R.E. Mercenaries or the Coalition Forces. We’re more than happy to have you.
However, Forefront development does not stop here. We’ve got more plans to bring to fruition, and we’re in the process of crafting a new post-launch roadmap that we’ll reveal soon enough. The update cadence will likely be a bit slower than it was during Early Access to give the team a bit of a breather, but we’ve already got tons of awesome stuff in the works!
As always, let us know what you think about the game, and the update in our Discord. We’re always looking forward to your feedback. Cheers, and see you in the game! -TF

Our Rush gamemode is getting some more love with a brand-new map. Welcome to Fjord as the war for Red Orpiment escalates! Find out more details in our Discord and read the full changelog below!
Be prepared to deploy to our newest Conquest map, Oasis, and traverse the sandy dunes and lush greenery by the rivers that cut through the land. Originally, the area was used for oil drilling, until red orpiment veins were discovered by accident. Naturally, O.R.E. swooped in and built a refinery on site, with the Coalition mounting an attack to prevent them from refining any more of the precious red ore. Will you be the one to own this desert?
A new vehicle is thrown into the mix! The Armored Personnel Carrier, or APC for short, is perfect for navigating difficult terrain and water, transporting troops, and protecting them from the dangers of the battlefield. There is also an “APC Attack” Map Variant available for Paradise Conquest. Try it out, and let us know what you think!
Lastly, this update is paired with a small price increase. Forefront’s new price point moves from $22.99 to $24.99, starting today!

Find out more details in our Discord and read the full changelog below!
After Tunnels, which was another Conquest map, Rush is back in the form of an alternative version of Paradise! Push the enemy back, or defend your position against a tropical island backdrop. We’re eager to see what you all think of this one! And not to worry, more new maps are in development!
The original Iceland Conquest map, does not have an attack helicopter available. Ever wonder what that would be like? You’re about to find out with this Map Variant of Iceland. An attack helicopter is waiting for a pilot at HQ! Map variants will remix existing maps with different vehicle configurations. The system has been set up to test on Iceland Conquest, but you can expect more to come. These maps could end up being timed exclusive.
Get a better idea of who bested you in combat, from what location, and even which weapon they used to bring about your downfall. The new death recap even keeps a record as to how many times you and another player killed each other during a match! Aside from these features, this update also reverts our recent MC-10 changes, unlocks red dot sights from the get-go (you’ll still have to equip them though), lets you share your experience after a match with us, and packs tons of bug fixes. As always, let us know what you think about the game, and the update in our Discord. We’re always looking forward to your feedback. Cheers, and see you in the game! -TF

Put them on roads, or deploy them right before a tank is about to drive past you, and enjoy the fireworks. Our latest Forefront Early Access update (v0.20.93) introduces a brand-new Conquest map, the C-Tac sniper rifle, a variable scope, a bunch of sniper enhancements, and more. Let’s get into it. Find out more details in our Discord and read the full changelog below!
Under the weight of a mountain, geologists discovered a large red orpiment ore deposit. O.R.E. raced to claim the site and set up an operation, digging toward the deposit with a large TBM. The Coalition has shipped out their forces in response. Can they take control of the site and claim the red orpiment for themselves? Tunnels is a more close-quarters map for Conquest. As such, it is also light on vehicles, with only quads sticking around for the battle to come.
This update introduces a new mechanic, specifically with the Recon class in mind. When taking aim with sniper rifles, you’ll be able to hold your breath to steady yourself before taking a shot. We can’t wait to see what epic shots you’ll be taking in the weeks ahead. We’re also launching a community event soon on Reddit revolving around sniping, more info on the Forefront Subreddit!
We’ve increased the projectile velocity for sniper rifles across the board, reduced the recoil and kickback, and enhanced the visibility when using sniper scopes. Additionally, we’re bringing you the new C-Tac sniper rifle, along with a new variable scope to unlock for the Recon’s rifles.
As we announced back when we originally launched in Early Access, the price point of Forefront will be moving up as we get closer to our full release and add more content and features to the game. These gradual price increases will always be paired with substantial updates like this one. Forefront’s new price point moves from $19.99 to $22.99, starting today! As always, let us know what you think about the game, and the update in our Discord. Your thoughts are always appreciated. Cheers, and see you in the game! -TF

The front line just got louder, heavier, and colder. Our latest Forefront Early Access update (v0.18.97) introduces not one, but two new vehicles, and a brand-new map field test (Conquest Siberia)—alongside quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. Let’s dive into what’s new. Find out more details in our Discord and read the full changelog below!
The skies now belong to the Apache Attack Helicopter. Built for aggression, this air vehicle delivers devastating firepower and offers pilots and gunners a thrilling new way to control the battlefield from above. Whether you’re providing aerial support or raining down destruction on fortified positions, the Apache adds a whole new layer to the 16v16 combat of Forefront. To balance the scales, we’ve deployed a new Anti-Air Tank. Designed to counter flying threats, this land vehicle gives ground forces the tools they need to push back against helicopters and control the skies from below. Expect vehicle-on-vehicle combat to feel more tactical—and more intense—than ever before. You’ll be able to find these vehicles on both Paradise, and Conquest Siberia for the time being to test them out!
Brace yourself for Conquest Siberia, the frosty new twist on the map you know and love from our Rush gamemode, is now available as a Conquest map, featuring the two new vehicles! Capture points in the harsh snowy environment and make the snow drink the blood of your opponents! And don’t you worry, brand-new maps are also in development, but those will have to wait a tad bit longer to make it into the game.
Last, but not least, this update also brings a wide range of improvements aimed at making every match smoother and more rewarding. From smarter squad spawning, to the addition of speaker icons in the scoreboard, more ways to earn XP, adjusted early progression, and much more.
For all the details, read the full changelog below!
As we announced back when we originally launched in Early Access, the price point of Forefront will be moving up as we get closer to our full release. In January, you can expect the first price increase to take place, paired with another banger of an update. In other words, treat yourself for the Holidays and get in at $19.99 while you still can! As always, let us know what you think about the game, and the update in our Discord. Your thoughts are always appreciated. Cheers, and see you in the game! - TF

Find out more details in our Discord and read the full changelog below!
Ever wonder how you got eliminated by an opponent, or where you’re being shot from? This update brings you a variety of solutions. Not only have we added killer highlights to help you better understand where you got killed from, we’ve also improved our hit indicators and made them directional. This will give you a better chance at turning the tide in those split-second action moments.
As per popular request from the community, get ready for Medics and Engineers to add to the chaos of the game. They will now be able to kill enemy players with their defibrillators and repair tools.
