Folk Hero is just made for playing with friends. Checked, it's a lot of fun! Be sure to write your impressions, we are interested in your opinion! The mode is activated by pressing the corresponding button on the save slot. In multiplayer mode, you can summon up to 2 additional players to go on a cooperative adventure. Use the summoning bell on the Beach to do so. Achievements will only be completed by the first player, and all unlocked content during co-op will also be saved for single-player mode in that save slot, and vice versa. In this mode, all playable classes are immediately unlocked, but you cannot go to the Island alone. Changes 1. Added difficulty selection. You can only change the difficulty in the Main Menu or on the Beach. 2. Added Multiplayer mode 3. Increased explosion area of the Archer with the perk to increase the number of mines 4. Reduced the initial armor of the Defender's shield 5. Added Gamepad Stick Dead Zone to avoid accidental Stick triggers Fixes 1. Some Achievements were displayed differently for different Classes 2. (Steam Remote Play works too) You can enable Beta mode in the game properties on Steam. Important information: 1. Saves from the release version will be used in the Beta test version. 2. Saves from the Beta version will NOT be used in the current release version. 3. Saves from the Beta version will probably fit the release version of the Multiplayer (when it will be released), but no promises. 4. In the Community Center created Topics for discussion and bugs in Multiplayer. 5. To enable Multiplayer mode, press Q (or X on the gamepad) on the save slot. We wish all players a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thank you for playing Folk Hero. We are preparing an update to fix some known issues. 1. It is impossible to remap the Skill 2 buttons of Warrior and Defender, and if they have been remapped, it is impossible to get them back. (For now, this can be fixed by deleting the settings file in the save folder at UserName/AppData/LocalLow/Chudo-Yudo Games/Folk Hero). 2. Because of the Magic Powder, the Ghost in the Castle may hang and block the transition between locations. (Try not to use this item in the Castle). 3. After the third killing of Koschei, the character may not respond to the control. (This can be fixed by turning Pause on and off). 4. The Play Station controller may not be detected in the game. (You can try disabling the Steam Input System on the game page in the Library, or just select the PS layout in the game settings).

Today we’ll find out who are those brave souls who decided to become the conquerors of the Mysterious Island. Let’s start our research! As it turned out, the majority of the adventurers are between 24 and 35 years old, they make up 39%! Another 38% believe that they’re still too young to die — they’re between 18 and 25 years old. And 23% of our players turned out to be in their full bloom — over 35. 85% of the conquerors of the Island are brave heroes. Hey, fair maidens, keep up! 38,5% of the heroes who took the survey in English turned out to be from North America and 30,8% are from Western Europe. Please note that we’re talking only about those who completed the survey in English! 69% of respondents combine the fight against evil creatures with work, and 23% with studies. The remaining 8% haven’t yet decided, which means that they can spend more time in the game. It’s not bad, when there’s always someone to guard the order of the Buyan island! Most of our noble warriors learned about the mysterious world of Folk Hero from Steam recommendations (71%), 23% watched a review of the game on Youtube and decided to try it out. The majority of players, 77%, spend a couple of hours a week playing Folk Hero, and 23% admitted that they could disappear into the game for a couple of days. And how often do our players play video games in general? 3-4 days a week is enough for 38,5%, 38,5% spend more time, about 5-6 days a week, and 23% play every day! Most of the respondents are fans of the roguelike (100%) and action (92%) genres, RPG (77%) and casual games (54%) are also in the top. In addition to Folk Hero, glorious warriors love such games as Baldur’s Gate 3, The Witcher, Borderlands and Vampire Survivors. The holidays are coming up, so we congratulate you, Heroes! Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! Below you will find a list of changes and improvements included in our New Year’s update: Version 1.1.0 1. Added four special character traits and conditions for unlocking them. You can get a separate Steam achievement for obtaining each of these traits. - “Curiosity” - when unlocking the entire map, the amount of gained reputation increases by 100% - “Mastery” - increases all active talents by one level - “Versatility” - allows you to select additional talents - “Eccentricity” - arranges unlocked talents in random order each time 2. All character classes got their own unique skins for each trait. 3. Added festive decorations for the starting location. 4. Improved text localization. Changes 1. Warrior can now be unlocked by upgrading Strike to level 4 instead of 5 for Recruit, Defender and Rogue. 2. Archer can now be unlocked by applying 4 different runes instead of 5 to the Recruit's Shooting. 3. Trainer on the beach will remind you to spend Reputation. 4. To unlock the Medical Dressing, you now need to go to the Lowlands. 5. To open the first Place in the camp now you need to either go to the Den or open a new class. 6. To open the second Place in the camp now you need to either go to the Crater or open a new class. 7. Blessings are now displayed on the UI. 8. Active talent icons are now displayed in the character stats window on the UI. 9. Improved quest texts. 10. Valerian health replenishment value has been increased. 11. Curse sound was not playing when some rune effects were triggered. 9. The sound of the Wasteland Mage's movement could remain after his death. 10. The invulnerability effect could appear stretched out. 11. If you returned to the Hub from the Base, the sequence of Locations could be broken. 12. The silhouette of a Recruit's Shield could be seen at the Bonfire. 13. Fly Summoner did not have a minimum range for shooting. 14. Items near the transition could not be picked up. 15. The position of the Sword or Bow behind the Recruit's back could be displayed incorrectly. 16.
