Some of you might have already noticed our latest collaboration. We have joined forces with Mooncube Games - the talented team behind Spirit City: Lofi Sessions - one of the first (and best) desktop companions out there (it has 97% Positive reviews!). And, as always, we have prepared additional discount of -10% for you.
Spirit City has lot of cool productivity tools, but instead of being a farming sim like Focus Grove, it is focused on customizing your virtual space, collecting cute Spirits and focusing while listening to cozy lofi tracks, rather than nature sounds.
If you try out Spirit City: Lofi Sessions, let us know what's the best thing you like about it!

Your Little LanternsUpdate 1.0.48 adds two new ambient sounds and improves a few details around the Grove.
We added two new sounds to the ambience collection:
Brown Noise
Deep Brown Noise
Brown Noise has a soft, steady sound with more low frequencies than white noise, while Deep Brown Noise offers an even deeper and more bass-heavy version. They can be used on their own or mixed with the other ambience layers.
Please let us know how they sound and whether they work well for focusing.
We also know that the Rain ambience still includes some birds, and that Quiet Cafe is not quite as quiet as its name suggests. We are working on improving both of them.
The confirmation for deleting task tabs and notepad tabs have been improved. It should now make it much clearer.
Fixed the desktop background showing through fish in the Album.
Thank you for your feedback and for helping us improve Focus Grove!
Hey! You can now create and keep multiple groves without replacing your previous game.
The new profile and save system lets you create up to 10 separate groves and switch between them from the new menu. Each grove keeps its own world and progression, so you can organize them however you like.
You could create:
a grove for work
a grove for studying
a grove for personal projects
an experimental grove where you try a completely different layout
Or simply start a fresh adventure without losing the grove you already have.
From the new menu, you can continue your current game, load another grove, or create a new one. Groves can also be given their own names, making it easier to keep track of them.
Focus Grove now also has a native Linux build!
Because desktop transparency works differently on Linux, this version currently includes two fixed backgrounds that you can choose between instead of the transparent desktop mode.
The Linux version should also work on Steam Deck, although this is the first public version and may still need some adjustments. Please let us know how it works on your device and whether you encounter any Linux or Steam Deck-specific issues.
We also fixed the water icon:)
Thank you for helping us grow Focus Grove!
Hey Grove Keepers!
The weekend is here! And we have prepared something for you to enjoy it with. We have joined forces with talented artist and solo developer Ivette Schmidt and we decided to prepare a bundle with her debut game Mothkeep 🦋🦋🦋 It's a cozy experience in colorful peaceful nature sanctuary, where you carefully spot and document moths in every stage of life: from tiny egg to sparkly adult. It’s a short single player experience that you can enjoy during a relaxing evening. ☕🎧🧘♀️
You can buy flowers in the shop and seed them to attract these beautiful creatures or spot them in their natural habitat. And you can learn a thing or two about them along the way, as all the information in game is based on facts. 🔍📖
You can get your bundle here:
We're sure you will enjoy Mothkeep's cozy and relaxing atmosphere. And if moth-watching isn’t something up your alley (although I don’t know why it wouldn’t;) you can check out the rest of our bundles.
And stay tuned, because there is an update in the works in Little Lantern. We don’t want to spoil it just yet, but we can say we’re busy as bees working on it. 🌼🍃

Your Little LanternsHey Grove Keepers!
Update 1.0.39 is here with a few useful improvements for Statistics, alerts, and item pickup.
Work end and break end alert sounds are now separate, so you can choose different sounds for them.
Alert sounds can also repeat now. They repeat every 5 or 10 seconds at first, then slowly use longer intervals the longer they ring. This was supposed to work like this before, but there was a bug preventing it from behaving correctly.
There is also a new setting if you prefer to turn repeating alert sounds off.
Statistics can now show work time and break time per Pomodoro group.
You can use groups to track time spent on different things, like house chores, studying, work, or creative projects. You can name the groups however you want.
There are currently three groups available, but if more would be useful, let us know. We can consider adding custom group creation in the future, similar to tabs in the Notepad or To-Do List.
We also added a tooltip to the Pomodoro Timer reset button, improved Pomodoro tabs, and fixed the display of long Pomodoro segment names.
Deleting a task no longer asks for confirmation if it is the only task. Confirmation is still required when deleting a task that contains subtasks, so you do not remove a whole task group by accident.
We also improved the Building Materials tooltip.
Woodlings now look for nearby items first, then search more globally when picking up items from the ground. This should make collecting loose items feel a bit more natural and efficient.
Thank you for all the feedback and bug reports!
Hey Grove Keepers!
Update 1.0.36 is here!
This may look like a smaller update from the player side, but it includes some important under-the-hood changes. The biggest one is Addressables, which help Focus Grove load assets only when they are needed.
This should mostly improve the experience for new players and early loading, but everyone should benefit a little from lower unnecessary resource usage. It was also an important step for us, because it makes it easier to add more new things to Focus Grove in future updates.
You can now collapse tasks in the To-Do list to hide their subtasks when you do not need to see every little step at once.
This should make longer task lists much easier to read and manage, especially if you like breaking bigger goals into smaller steps.
Starting a new game can now keep your widget data if you choose to.
That means you can reset your grove while keeping things like your notes, tasks, habits, and Pomodoro settings.
This is also a small step toward a bigger save system in the future. I would like to add profiles, multiple farms, and more flexible save options later, so these New Game options are the first foundation for that.
Building and field ghosts were reworked, so previews should now behave more consistently before placing or moving objects.
I also worked on display switching and multi-monitor setups in this update.
Some players with multiple monitors reported problems with changing displays. This should be improved now. I hope.
Multi-monitor setups can be tricky to test because every setup is a little different, so please let me know if something still does not behave correctly on your screen.
This update adds Addressables, which lets the game load some assets only when they are actually needed.
In practice, this should help reduce unnecessary loading at startup and make the game handle content in a smarter way.
There were also more pathfinding and performance improvements, so Woodlings should no longer block each other or accidentally wander outside the farm.
Thank you for all the feedback, bug reports, and suggestions!
Hey Grove Keepers!
Update 1.0.32 is here, bringing a nicer Notepad, safer deleting, and a few small but helpful fixes around the grove.
The Notepad now has its first version of Markdown support! It is still a simple version for now, but you can already use formatting tools, switch between editing and preview, and make your notes a little clearer and cozier.
Let us know how it feels.
We added confirmation before deleting tasks, to-do list tabs, notes, and notepad tabs. No more accidental goodbyes to important little lists.
We added a new Dynamic Performance option to the settings, with three modes: Off, Balanced, and Power Saver.
Balanced is now enabled by default, so your grove should feel just as cozy while using fewer resources when zoomed out. You can also switch to Power Saver if you want Focus Grove to be even lighter in the background, or choose Off to keep the frame rate unchanged.
* Fixed display resolution issues * Fixed big numbers not rendering correctly in the Angler's shop * Made the selection cursor thinner * Improved the Report Bug text description * Fixed the look of the close button in Settings * Fixed a swamp collider
Thank you for all your feedback and bug reports. They help us keep making the grove cozier, smoother, and better with every update. See you in the grove! 🌿
Hey Grove Keepers!
Some of you wondered why you should build paths if Woodlings kept wandering straight through the grove - and honestly, fair point. They should now follow paths and bridges!
Improved Woodling pathfinding and awareness, helping them make better decisions based on what's happening nearby instead of running across the entire grove unnecessarily.
Woodlings now navigate paths and bridges more naturally and are better at moving around each other.
Fixed an issue where some Woodlings would not join in chopping fallen trees properly. Woodlings should now work together much more consistently.
Added and improved colliders across buildings, fields, fishing piers, and many other farm objects, helping prevent Woodlings from walking over and trampling vegetables.
Fixed entering a new line with Enter in the notepad when using IME keyboards, such as Korean.
Fixed farm scrolling after leaving the notepad notes window.
Fixed issues related to switching between monitors.
Fixed mood selection issues.
Fixed in-hand items sometimes remaining visible when they should be hidden.
Added performance improvements and general polish.
Looking ahead, we're also working on Markdown support for the notepad, which should arrive in a future update. We also have an idea for reducing CPU and GPU usage on laptops by introducing adaptive FPS, helping the game run more efficiently while saving power. Stay tuned! Thank you for helping us make the grove better with every update!
Hey Grove Keepers!
We're so excited to give you our first content update (apart from the small things we've been sending your way in the last 10 days:) So let us introduce:
Since the release of the demo in December we have been listening to your amazing feedback and well thought out suggestions. And after the release you became even more engaged and vocal with what how you'd like your groves to be. That's why we have assembled a few things for you
We have added a Mood Tracker to your Habits window, so now you can track your moods and emotions everyday.
Dark Mode Tools Skin - specially for all of you night owls out there!
We have added a few surprise new objects that you can build on your farm:
Dance Floor - a special dancing spot for 2 Woodlings to dance together.
Mood Bush - a soft little bush of gentle colors, perfect for days that feel mixed, bright, and a little dreamy.
Letter Bush - a pink blooming bush holding a tiny letter, for sending kind thoughts to yesterday, today, or tomorrow.
Star Bush - a fluffy white bush with a golden star, glowing softly like a good mood after a quiet day.
Rain Tree - blue-green tree with rosy hanging blooms, made for moods that are calm, tender, or softly rainy.
Deer Bush - a peaceful deer-shaped bush resting among leaves and mushrooms, reminding the grove to pause and breathe.
Update 1.0.20 also includes a lot of Balance adjustments for Life and Work objects. Because of this, your farm's Balance may be a little lower than before - don't worry, planting a few extra bushes should help bring your grove back into harmony.
We also fixed an issue where the in-game day could change too late for players outside European time zones. Habits, dates, and statistics should now correctly recognize “today” no matter where you are.
Other small fixes:
- Fixed the mini-pomodoro timer showing the old time at the start.
- Added a refresh button to the Pomodoro settings, so you can update the timer after changing its duration.
- The yellow duck can once again quack its little song.
Stay tuned, because that's not all! We will be improving the grove based on your feedback, and we're happy to say that we are working on a bigger update. Can't say more now, but we hope you'll like it and that it'll add some time to your focus sessions in upcoming weeks. 🌳⏰📚👩🌾🌞
As always — thank you for all the ideas, feedback, and bug reports 💚 They really shape how the Grove grows.
If Focus Grove feels like something you’d want to keep growing with, please consider adding it to your Wishlist - it helps more than you know.
Let's all grow together!
Your Little LanternsHi everyone! A quick apology from me (Dan). In yesterday's 1.0.15 update, I accidentally broke watering. For some players, Woodlings would shake instead of properly watering crops. 😅 This should now be fixed in Update 1.0.16. Thank you to everyone who reported the issue so quickly. The bug only affected some players, and I'm hoping those Woodlings at least had water left in their watering cans so they could keep your carrots growing while they worked. Sorry for the trouble, and thank you for your patience and support! Maybe it's time for me to slow down with the updates for a day or two before I break something else. 😅
Hello everyone!
Update 1.0.15 is here with a small set of fixes:
Improved Woodling behavior when clearing bushes and fallen trees.
Fixed cases where Woodlings could get stuck while watering.
Fixed cases where Woodlings could get stuck when refilling their watering cans.
Woodlings should no longer keep holding hammers or watering cans for no reason.
Added more interaction spots to the Big Shack Storage.
Made it easier to select trees behind the Personal Trainer.
Fixed entering new lines in the Notepad.
Statistics can now show the last 7 days, last 30 days, and all-time data.
Thank you for all your feedback and bug reports!
Happy focusing!
Hello everyone!
Update 1.0.14 is now available for Focus Grove. 🌿
This update focuses mostly on quality-of-life improvements, small UI fixes, localization corrections, and performance work. Some of these changes are tiny, but they should make everyday grove life a little smoother and less clicky.
You can now enter the number of needed building materials and buy them all at once, instead of clicking the buy button over and over again.
Only vegetables dropped near full storage can now rot. This means you should no longer find rotten tomatoes lying in the field just because work time ended right after the harvest.
You can now adjust the zoom separately for each widget in the settings menu:
Mini-Pomodoro
To-do list
Notepad
Date widget
It is still not perfect, but it should give you better control over your workspace.
Habits can now be ticked from the past week.
Four-digit numbers now fit properly in the sell field and should no longer split into two lines.
The New Game button is now smaller.
As a small reminder: pressing New Game still asks for confirmation before anything happens.
“Fireplace” is now correctly called “Campfire”.
Fixed two places where Chinese translations were placed incorrectly.
Pomodoro statistics are now logged every second instead of every frame.
The game now avoids checking field extensions when there are none.
Additional performance improvements were made across:
Pomodoro systems
Achievements
Pathfinding
General gameplay
Thank you for playing, reporting issues, and helping us make Focus Grove a calmer and cozier place to spend your focus time. 💚
Hello, Focus Grove community! Happy Friday! 🌟
We want to thank you all so much for playing Focus Grove and for your continuous support. To kick off the weekend, we have just released patch 1.0.12 with several improvements and fixes. Have a wonderful weekend of farming and relaxing!
Storage Flexibility: You can now sell the starting storage shack, provided you maintain at least one active storage building on your farm.
Shovel Refunds: Adjusted the shovel refund rates. It now starts at a 25% refund (instead of 0%) and scales up to a maximum of 90% (instead of 100%) at the highest tier.
Fishing Adjustments:
Increased fish growth times across the fishing pond pier, river, and sea.
Increased the time required to catch fish from rivers and seas (making them a bit more of a challenge to catch!).
Statistics Correction: Fixed the "Gathered Crops" statistics screen, which was erroneously counting collected coins toward the crop total.
Resource Initialization: Fixed an issue causing incorrect initialization of resources.
Album: Fish in the album are now displayed in full size.
Sticker Count Fix: Fixed a visual bug where the album sticker count would overflow beyond the maximum number required to collect.
Shop Optimization: Improved the overall performance and responsiveness of the Crops and Buildings shop interface.
Building Mode Behavior: Changing the shop's active tab while having a field or building selected will now automatically disable building mode.
Resource Exchange: Don't forget that you can exchange your coins for building materials inside the Tool Shed!
Decoration: Keep in mind that the picnic blanket can only be placed on sand.
Hello, focus friends! A quick update is now live to make your Pomodoro sessions just a little bit smoother. Here is what’s new in version 1.0.8:
Woodling Fix: Fixed a bug where the 11th and 12th Woodlings wouldn't leave their houses after you bought their room. They are now properly stepping out and ready to keep you company while you work!
Zen Master: Saving your wisdom now automatically opens the notepad to show your newly saved thoughts right away.
Sharper Visuals: Re-exported Birdie's animations in a higher resolution for extra crispness.
Fish Icon Fix: Fixed a bug where fish icons accidentally used the massive, full-sized album artwork.
UI Widget Fix: Fixed an issue with selecting custom skins for your UI widgets.
Thank you for focusing with us. Grab a warm tea, set your timers, and enjoy the update!
Happy focusing! ✨
Hello, fellow farm architects!
We are thrilled to bring you Update 1.0.7, which focuses heavily on under-the-hood performance improvements. If your PC has been working a bit too hard on your farm, this one is for you!
We’ve done a massive overhaul of our textures and assets. As a result, the game should now load faster, use hundreds of MBs less VRAM (graphics card memory), and put much less strain on your computer. Your cozy farming sessions just got a whole lot smoother!
As an indie title, Steam reviews mean the world to us. They help more players discover our cozy world of Woodlings. If you are enjoying the game, please consider leaving us a quick review! It takes just a minute but helps us immensely. Thank you so much for your support! 🙏
Performance & Optimization
Mega Texture Optimization: Completely overhauled texture importing settings and packed multiple textures into atlases for much better efficiency.
VRAM Reduction: reduced size of multiple shop icons, skins icons, ghost images of buildings, removed unused objects which were only disabled.
Optimized VFX, grass animations.
Gameplay Fixes & AI
Smart Woodlings: Fixed an issue where Woodlings would get stuck if you moved a storage building while they were actively carrying crops to it.
Fixed the connection between the Rainbow Road and the bridge.
UI & Quality of Life Improvements
UI Screen Restrictions: Loosened restrictions on the distance from the bottom edge of the screen (now max is screen height minus 300 pixels, instead of the previous fixed limit of just 200 pixels).
Improved the Stored Vegetables panel with a cleaner 3-column layout.
Fixed the basic resources UI text overflowing when values reached 16,000+.
Fixed the Work End UI value display.
Blocked accidental zooming/scrolling on the Report Bug form and fixed the "submit/enter to new line" bug in notepad and report form.
Visuals & Localisation
Replaced the sea waves VFX with a prettier, more optimized version.
Made the forest wind shader more subtle and relaxing.
Adding new habit is now properly translated.
Thank you all for your amazing feedback and for helping us make the game better with every patch. Grab your watering can, jump back in, and enjoy the smoother ride!
Happy focusing, The Little Lanterns.
Hey focused people! A new update has just dropped, focusing heavily on restructuring the game's economy alongside some nice quality-of-life tweaks and performance fixes.
Here is a quick look at what’s new:
We’ve completely overhauled prices and progression values for the mid-to-late game. This includes major cost and balance adjustments for Inventor upgrades, Fishing requirements, Trainer objects and housing to make your journey feel much more rewarding.
Better Counters: UI elements can now properly display larger values.
Note Navigation: Pressing Enter now instantly jumps your cursor from the note title to the content.
Optimized database lookups to smooth out performance.
Smaller shop icons = lower game size and faster load up without losing quality.
Implemented safety measures for object and item initialization to prevent crashes.
I’ve seen your reports regarding high CPU usage, and I want to assure you that I am constantly working on further optimization to get this sorted.
In the meantime, if your PC is running hot, I highly recommend switching the game to mini-pomodoro mode. This should drastically reduce the load on your hardware for now.
Also, if you've submitted a bug via the Report Bug form, please check out the Steam Discussions - I’ve been going through them and posting answers to your reports there!
Thank you for your continuous support and feedback. Dive back in and enjoy the smoother ride! 🚀
Hey,
I just dropped a release-day patch that includes:
General balance tweaks across various features (including life/work buildings)
Building descriptions now show up to 5 "+" symbols instead of 3
Updated the Steam wrapper (I heard about some issues, so I hope this helps!)
And most importantly:
You can now select "none" as the sound for work/break ends, clicks, or task completion.
Have a great day,
Dan
We want to thank all of you for the fantastic journey through the production process. You heave been amazing and so helpful in making Focus Grove what it is today. And we hope it's only the beginning! 💚
Yes and no. Yes: if you have played the demo before, you will be able to transfer all of your: Notes, Tasks, Habits (you will be asked whether you want to transfer it on your first game start). No: you will not be able to transfer the farm progression. We have changed and added too much to do it painlessly, se we decided it's a good time to start it over. Don't worry, you'll have plenty of new things to build now:)
The base price for the game is: $8.99 / £7.99 / €9.19 / 30.99 zł / ¥ 36.00 / R$ 29,99
Steam has introduced a new way of calculating the prices for different currencies. We have used it, and adjusted some prices a bit, so they reflect the prices in your currency better.
We wanted to make a bit bigger discount for you at the release, so we set it up to 20%. Steam forces to do a 30 day break period between the discounts, so the next one will be in at least 1 month and the next few discounts that we plan will be 20%.
There are plenty of things to unlock - dozens of farm buildings, decorations, skins and Woodling outfits. The pace of unlocking the content depends solely on you and how consistent you are with your work. But it'll take you many focus sessions, competed task and habits kept up to unlock everything for your farm. (Hopefully at least a few productive weeks:)
We will definitely be doing patches and improvements. As for new content, we have a lot of ideas for new things for the grove. It'll all depend on how the launch goes. If you have ideas or requests, you.can let us know in the survey in the game settings menu, or you can just join our discord (https://discord.gg/73Q9DMZqGg) or let us know here in the discussions.
We are constantly looking at the countries our players come from. We've tried to localize the game to 13 languages already. Some translations might not be perfect yet, so if you find something wrong or funny, please let us know and we will try to fix it asap.
For now it's only Windows and Steam. We are considering other systems already and will be considering other stores in the future.
If you think Focus Grove is for you, the easiest way to support us is to buy the game and leave a review. Honestly, we just hope that you'll use it to your benefit every day and it'll make your life better. And if you still want to support the team, we have prepared a bundle with a Supporter Pack which includes a unique hot air baloon and an aviator outfit for your Woodlings thay you can enjoy on your farm.
The is game is meant to help you. You may of course just play it as a cozy farm simulator with cute characters, but it was designed to be incorporated it in your work, styduing or just your life, so it becomes easier and more joyful to manage your days. We really hope it'll prove useful to you and it will help you find balance in your life.
If you'd like to contact us, don't hesitate to reach out, preferably on our discord: https://discord.gg/73Q9DMZqGg

Your Little LanternsDear Friends, one of our favorite things about building Focus Grove is seeing how differently it fits into people’s days. There’s no single “right” way to use the grove - it quietly adapts to your rhythm, your work, and your needs. Here are a few small stories from our own team.
Basia is a graphic designer. Her days are full of open files, visual decisions, and constant context switching. With Focus Grove running at the bottom of her screen, she treats each focus session like a gentle contract with herself: design first, check everything else later. Watching the grove grow helps her stay present — and reminds her to pause before creative fatigue sets in.
Daniel is a programmer, used to long stretches of deep focus followed by sudden mental overload. Instead of pushing endlessly, he now works in calmer cycles. When Woodlings are busy building, he codes. When they rest, he steps away. The grove doesn’t rush him - it quietly encourages balance, helping him write better code without burning out.
Michał works in marketing, juggling meetings, campaigns, and constant notifications. Focus Grove helps him anchor his day. Short focus sessions turn into small wins, and seeing progress in the grove gives him a sense of closure between tasks. It’s less about doing more and more about doing things with intention.
Focus Grove isn’t about productivity at all costs. It’s about creating a space where work, rest, and growth can coexist - gently, at your own pace. We’d love to hear your story too! How does Focus Grove fit into your day?
- The Focus Grove Team 🌱
Hey Grove Keepers! It's weekend. Let's relax! 🧘
We’re happy to share that Focus Grove is part of the #Relaxing Event 2026, organized by Rogue Duck and Gamersky Games 🎉 This event celebrates games that help you slow down and unwind — cozy, satisfying experiences with gentle rhythms and relaxing flows. The kind of games you can enjoy while listening to a podcast, sipping tea ☕, or simply taking a quiet break.
That idea is very close to what Focus Grove is all about. A calm place where you can focus, build your little forest village, and let your Woodlings take care of the farm while you take care of your day 🐿️
If you haven’t tried the demo yet, this is a perfect moment to step into the Grove and spend a little relaxing time with us ✨Hope you enjoy the event — and the peaceful moments in the Grove 🌼🍃
