Hey, this is Michael.
I’ve got some cool Flesh news today.
When I started working on Flesh Made Fear, the goal was pretty simple:
Make something that feels like an old survival horror game you found in a cursed basement.
Tank controls. Fixed cameras. Limited resources. Gross creatures.
Weird science. Occult nightmares. Bad decisions.
Since release, it has been really awesome seeing people play the game, get lost, panic in hallways, save ammo at the worst possible moment, and open doors they definitely should not have opened.
Every review, stream, video, screenshot, comment and message means a lot.
Especially for a small indie horror game, it really helps more than you know.
So today I just wanted to share a little milestone:
Flesh Made Fear is now also out on PlayStation 5.
For me, that is a pretty big moment.
For a zombie? Probably just another slow, disgusting step through a dark hallway.
But seeing this little nightmare reach more horror fans is honestly very special.
Thank you to everyone who played, reviewed, streamed, screamed, wishlisted or supported Flesh Made Fear so far.
It really means a lot.
And if you are jumping in for the first time now…
Good luck surviving the horrors ahead.
– Michael
Hey, this is Michael.
Hope you are doing all right.
One of my favorite gaming events of the year has just begun: Lovecraftian Days. It’s a celebration of eerie, atmospheric indie horror inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft and there are so many incredible titles to explore.

Hey guys, it's me Michael.
Today I want to you tell you the tale of how Victor Ripper became "The Dripper". 🧪
Some killers wear masks.
Some hide behind makeup.
And then there are the ones who hide behind clearance badges, sealed files, and “for the greater good.”
Victor “The Dripper” Ripper wasn’t always a monster - he was valuable. A leading scientist tied to the MKUltra project, praised for “cutting-edge” work in mind control… until obsession turned into escalation.
The deeper he dug into the human psyche, the more control he craved - not just over thoughts, but over the soul itself.
Victims became pawns, their minds shattered by invasive techniques. And eventually, what was once Victor Ripper became something else entirely… a husk, twisted by his own creation - a man who “drips” corruption into everything he touches.
His research led to one final conclusion: to truly understand control… he had to experience it.
Ripper became his own test subject. He dosed himself with compounds meant to dominate the mind -each experiment pushing him further, each success demanding something darker.
If you like killers with conspiracy horror roots and body-horror consequences… Ripper is waiting.
And if you want to meet the next one?
➡️ Check out my new game and play The Skin Stapler Demo (only 30–45 minutes)

Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a great 2026 so far! I am happy to announce that the demo for my new game, The Skin Stapler, has just dropped on Steam, and I would love for you all to check it out and give me some feedback, and of course, every wishlist helps!
Here is the link to the store page and the demo page:
The Skin Stapler is a retro-styled PSX grindhouse horror adventure set in the rotting, crime-soaked sprawl of Carrion City. Players follow jaded detective Dick Slater and his eager rookie partner Robbie Knox as they hunt a mysterious serial killer known only as The Skin Stapler If you LOVED 80s/90s slasher movies and dark comedy, then this will be right up your alley! Thanks for all your continued support of me and my games, and I hope The Skin Stapler can make 2026 a bloody good time ;) Yours, Michael
Michael here, and wow… thank you so much for the incredible launch. Flesh Made Fear recently hit the 100+ review milestone since its release on Halloween. That’s absolutely wild.
Now, let’s slash our way toward 200 together! That would be fantastic and would help the game tremendously. And since the Steam Awards are officially live, it would mean the world if you nominated Flesh Made Fear for the category you think fits best. I may suggest the “Best Game You Suck At” Award (unfortunately there's no fitting horror award), but honestly, I’m grateful for any category you feel captures the spirit of the game.
Also, if you’re still completing your Steam Awards Badge tasks, it would mean everything to me if you left a review or updated your existing one.
Thank you again for helping Flesh Made Fear grow. Your support keeps Rotwood breathing… and hungry.
See you in the dark,
MichaelFlesh Made Fear is here for you to experience the horrors that await in the city of Rotwood. Tank controls. Fixed cameras. Pure Terror.
The inspiration for Flesh Made Fear came from my personal love of classic survival horror games that I grew up with. I wanted to share with you the memories of being a young child in my bedroom with the lights off, playing Resident Evil on my old PlayStation — the only light in the room coming from that flickering tube TV.
The fear, the comedy, and the pure enjoyment of that experience are feelings I still hold dear to this day. I hope I managed to capture even a little bit of that magic and allowed others to relive it through Flesh Made Fear.

Flesh Made Fear is out now on Steam. Ready for you to explore, survive, and (hopefully) escape. Thank you again for supporting the release and supporting me as a game developer!
See you in the dark,
Michael
PS: Sorry, I missed out on that one... have been too excited about the release. Sooo... THANK YOU to every single backer of the Kickstarter campaign. YOU ROCK!
From the twisted mind behind Suffer The Night, Terror At Oakheart, and Massacre At The Mirage comes the next descent into darkness: Flesh Made Fear.
To mark the occasion, the cast of Flesh Made Fear couldn’t contain their excitement and decided to hit the dance floor early. Turns out, even nightmares know how to party.
Consider this your invitation to a three-week celebration before everything goes horrifyingly wrong. Until launch day, this piece of art is probably enough to keep your pulse racing. If not, feel free to jump into the demo once again—or for the first time.
Flesh Made Fear is the biggest project I’ve ever worked on. A story and game that’s been haunting me for years and demanded to be made. I can’t wait for you to experience it for yourself when the doors open on October 31.
See you in the dark,
Michael
What started as a small nightmare has now grown into a horde of 30.000 wishlists. Thank you for fueling the fear and helping me push this monstrosity closer to your screens.
Each wishlist helps, and it means everything to see so many of you eager to descend into the horrors ahead. More updates and fearsome events are coming soon. Stay tuned, and thank you again for helping shape this project.
Cheers, Michael
Steam Next Fest has begun, and with it, Flesh Made Fear is clawing its way onto your screens with a challenging demo that takes you back to your childhood gaming era—playing horror games in the dark of your children's room. If you thought you were ready… think again.
This retro-inspired PSX horror experience is here to test your nerves, your instincts—and maybe your soul. Get ready for gritty visuals, relentless tension, and a nightmare that doesn’t play fair.
A slice of terror from the full game, with brutal encounters, grim environments, and no mercy. Whether you’re a seasoned survivor or fresh meat, we dare you to try.
We're beyond thrilled to share this glimpse into the horror we’ve been crafting, and we’d love to hear your thoughts. If you enjoyed the demo (or barely made it through), leaving a short review would help us out tremendously.
Thanks for playing—and good luck out there. You’ll need it.
