I really wanted to launch with multiplayer but I wasnt able to get to it. I really hope you enjoy raising and battling fish online and against friends. You will need to grow a fish to an appropriate age and then add them to your online roster. Once added you can fight friends or for control of the leader boards. I also added bug fixes to the sampler and some experiments!
Ive gotten feedback through the release that the UI design could be better. Which I totally agree with! Ive spent the last few days redesigning it into one single bottom bar and workbench based layout that I think will be much better. Ive also added hotkeys for the fish net and made current hotkeys much more intuitive to figure out! Thanks so much for playing my game and you can reach me with feedback at [email protected]
Whelp its here, after alot of work, its finally here. I want to thank everyone that interacted with me along the journey of making a game. All the players that tested and played it especially. Thanks to the people that made youtube vids on it. That was really awesome! Go ahead and check some of these guys out! Enjoy the game and say tuned for what happens next!
Hey anybody that is listening. This is Evan, the solo dev of Fishpond. Its been a wild ride these last couple months getting ready for next fest and ultimately the release of the game. Ive been working really hard on polish. Ive got tons of new icons and text fixes for everything. Ive got localization all set up for over 30 languages. Ive got a new battle system where you can battle fish in the arena.
Ive got controller support that Im really happy with. As I get closer to launch I still need to get all my steam achievements sorted out and get steam deck verified. I want to thank everyone that has played my game and my family for supporting me.
