Full Steam announcements and update articles for this title.
Hello everyone. It has been one week since release and I am very happy this game wasn't a flop. I am now thinking of my next game, but this game will continue to be updated. I didn't take much of a break irl. I'm actually VERY SAD but that's unrelated to this game. Behind this game is a human being trying their best, even if it doesn't look like it.
Difficulty Modes: Pick your challenge at the start of a new game. On Easy, execution minigames can only ever help you; Normal is the classic experience; on Hard, botching a minigame fails the kill outright.
Select Your Style executions: Once unlocked via the Artist skill tree, you now choose an execution approach per kill, each with its own trade-offs across Fame, Heat, success chance, cost, and Debt. (This replaces the old "Lay Low" action.)
DEBT: Debt is now easier to accrue and actually meaningful. Debt draws your Money negative in real time, and at a New Era any negative balance rolls into your persistent Charity ledger. Endings now judge atonement (debt repaid through Charity) rather than raw debt, so all three endings stay reachable.
FAME: Fixed a Fame double-count bug where the Viral Momentum legacy perk applied its bonus twice, corrected several perk descriptions to match their real effects, and fixed a cheat-payment routing issue.
CLOUT CHASE: Reworked the CLOUT CHASE inbox filter so it meaningfully cherry-picks fame-heavy jobs at every stage of the game, instead of doing nothing early and accepting everything late.
REJ ALL now clears expired/leftover contracts from a previous era instead of leaving them behind.
Rejecting an expired contract no longer incorrectly charges Heat.
Fixed "ghost" contracts reappearing in your inbox after a New Era or reload.
There is probably a few more things I missed. And I am sorry for that. The fastest way to get me is on discord.
Thank you everyone for buying my game, leaving positive reviews, and even joining my discord. It means a lot to me and helps me move forward. I will be dedicating my life to making video games to the best of my abilities. If I do anything wrong, please forgive me. I am still learning and growing and I want every game to be better than the previous.

Thank you everyone who purchased the game. Extra thanks to the people who left reviews. They help me a lot to improve the game, but also algorithmically for better visibility. I will continue to work on updates this weekend but I have been updating the game everyday. Recent update includes:
Fixed new era bugs and save issues pertaining to lore drops, reset saves, achievements
Inbox email crop issue should be fixed
Small UI fixes such as ineligible text
Fixed Inbox skill issues, such as Reject All button now deletes expired emails
Clout Chase option in Inbox is better configured to be sensical to use early game instead of near end game
BTW if you like the music, you can listen to it entirely on YouTube. But I will release the soundtrack on Steam so if you want to support me more, please buy the album on Steam when it comes out(TBA)
I'm too busy to put a lot of thought into this, so if I mess up, I'm sorry.
This is my 4th game and a spinoff of my first. In Liminal Void, Helena is introduced as a "psycho femcel killer" and all we knew about her is that she kills men. This game goes more into her past.
Helena's goal is to reach 1 billion followers on social media. But instead of the actual social media aspect like playing with algorithms, shameless plugs/collabs, and advertisement, the focus is solely on her craft. And buying nice things. If you're a creator, you will understand this. There is a lot of futility in having such goals while simply focusing on what you're good at, but that's what this game is about. And a lot of failing. You will crash out, but you will get better each time. The only game over is quitting. Can you actually reach 1 billion followers? Yeah, I set up the algorithms so that eventually growth becomes exponential. You will have milestones and goals and a lot of lore drops and story elements.
I can't say it really feels like a visual novel, but it borrows a lot from Landmine Princess's execution. As this is a 2D game, the requirements aren't that high. I hope even if you dislike Helena, you are curious of what she has to say next. There are 21 minigames that are very fast-paced but there is no game over logic. Actually, when you do too many assassinations, you overheat, lose your stats and skills, and then a NEW ERA begins. You still have your money, and there are some behind-the-scenes stuff that actually makes you stronger. This game still has a lot of cryptic stuff going for it so I hope you guys like surprises. There's around 14 or so new original songs plus some extra so hopefully the music will be nice for you. I apologize in advance for any Day 1 bugs. I only had a handful of playtesters and not a lot of feedback from the demo.
This started as an incremental game but I ended up making a lot of minigames and story so it became it's own thing. Maybe a simulation, or a trigger-happy minigame bonanza. Obviously there is a lot of toxicity in this game so I really strayed from where I started. I never thought I'd make a game like this, but it happened. Regardless, I feel this is one of my most realist games but not that personal, more satirical. I think the whole concept of hating is very immature, but I've seen chill people(such as myself) lose their cool and go in FULL HATER MODE and it is very funny. I think morality is a facade for a lot of people but that's okay as long as they are making an effort to improve their lives and their community. I hope that that the people who play my game don't exercise any hatred towards any gender or ethnic group. That is something I'm heavily against. To hate someone for what they are born with is cruel, and I never liked that about society. Even jokes about their nose, hair, measurements, etc is very mean and I lose respect when I hear that sort of stuff. I think more people are mean now because I'm older now so I can perceive it better, but also because the economy in the developed world is going through a transfer of wealth from the middle class to the upper class. The poor get poorer and the rich get richer. People get mad when they lose money. And you go on social media it's lookmaxxing this, ragebaiting that, chopped unc, etc. Distractions to not overthrow your oppressors. Then comes the advertisements that tells you that you are ugly or need to subscribe to some sort of health scam. Meanwhile your government nonchalantly funds war crimes with your tax dollars, but you don't care because the price of food and fuel DOUBLED by the time you reached adulthood. But at least microwave ovens are cheaper than they were 50 years ago. Right. A lot of people are more snappy and draw up hatred because they feel powerless. It's one hit after another, and I know that feel.
Wow, didn't know where I was going with that! But please enjoy Femme Fatality and leave a positive review. I got some MRA forum on my tail so they may try to review bomb me. I had a lot of fun making this game, but I really want my next game to be more chill. Your purchase and support helps me in so many ways and I am forever grateful to the fans. As this game's development was better organized, I can be able to implement updates fast and the quality should be the best Jeistar game, yet. Shortly after, I will be updating NO ENTRY and Liminal Void so try those games out if you haven't. I will have a Soundtrack for this game released later.
with love,
