Full Steam announcements and update articles for this title.
Dear citizens,
The wait is over.
Since the demo was released on Steam and the game took part in February's Steam Next Fest, a lot has changed—including a delay.
The feedback from the citizens who make up the Dystopicon community was crucial in our decision to postpone the release and implement many of the ideas you suggested. A lot of your feedback was genuinely great, but we needed to make sure everything fit naturally within the world we had created. That's why we decided to delay the launch until July 27, even though it meant giving up the one-shot opportunity that Steam Next Fest represents.
And somehow, before we knew it, that day had arrived.
By the way, the last two weeks have been absolutely crazy. The game has been featured in numerous press articles, and our wishlist has been growing even faster than we expected.
Thank you all so much for your feedback, your support, and all the encouragement you've sent us. It has kept us motivated to keep going and finally bring Dystopicon to completion.
But enough with the sentimental stuff! Everyone, back to watching TV and earning money!
Dear citizens!
We are pleased to announce that we have listened to you, and after a great deal of work we have updated the Dystopicon demo, adding many of the suggestions you shared with us. This new version includes:
Several new mechanics and interactions
Two brand-new comics
An additional ending. Yes, those who wish may now escape from the reeducation camp, although it is our duty to discourage any rebellious behavior.
New language: Turkish.
You will also be able to enjoy many other improvements:
TV can now continue playing while using certain objects, such as the stove or food.
The interface has been improved to better indicate which TV channel is being watched and which device is currently being used.
New animations and sound effects to provide clearer feedback to the player.
Performance improvements and enhanced visual and audio effects. And yes, we have also lowered the difficulty level a little bit. Our game designer was completely against it, but a season in the reeducation camp helped him reconsider.
So, what’s next?
We will continue developing Dystopicon and creating the new rooms you will be able to enjoy in the final version. The game is scheduled to launch in July 2026.
End of announcement.

Extra! Extra! Dystopicon has been delayed to July!
Dear citizens: First of all, we want to give you a little gift. Here are some of the best reactions from YouTubers and streamers:
As you know, Dystopicon was originally scheduled for release this coming May, but after reviewing a lot of gameplay footage and listening to community feedback, the government of La Trinidad has decided to postpone the launch.
But this isn’t sad news—quite the opposite! This extra time will allow us to further polish the experience, develop the levels that are already planned, make changes based on your suggestions, and add content that lives up to your expectations.
The game will feature:
5 playable rooms and a few secret ones
New mechanics
More “neighborly interaction” and… “exploration” (if you know, you know)
New side quests and hidden stories
Innovative devices for the rooms
And a whole lot more dystopia!
We hope you understand this decision, and we look forward to you enjoying your small, free residential cubicle—with a TV included—this summer!
Dear Citizens,
The Dystopicon demo is now available, just as it will be featured in the upcoming Steam Next Fest, taking place from February 23 to March 2.
The demo includes:
A Story Mode featuring one complete scenario in which the government will test your commitment over a 28-day period
A secret scenario within Story Mode, accessible under certain conditions
A Challenge Mode, where your sole objective is to earn $500 in order to purchase your right to leave the room
Side quests that will allow you to learn more about this dystopian society
Plan your strategy and decide whether you will be a model citizen or choose to rebel.
The minimum playtime is around 25 minutes in the main scenario (if you do not die beforehand), but it will be longer if you decide to investigate thoroughly and discover how to access the secret scenario.
Challenge Mode is more difficult and has no time limit. How many days will you survive?
Celebrate this exciting moment with us. Download the demo, play it, and add it to your wishlist.
Dear Dystopicon Citizens,
The Trinity informs you that a few days ago the Dystopicon demo was released on Steam. Unfortunately, due to technical issues beyond our immediate control, we have been forced to temporarily hide the page.
The demo will be made available again in January, and Dystopicon will officially participate in the Steam Next Fest this coming February. In addition, we are currently revising the visual presentation of the Dystopicon Steam store page, as even order and discipline benefit from proper presentation.
We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused. Please remember that, despite appearances, The Trinity is not divine. These errors are merely proof of our humanity.
