• Enhanced VFX/SFX across explosions, deaths, and environmental effects, more sparks, debris, and impact.
• Some enemies now shatter into pieces when destroyed.
• Map selection screen redesigned for clarity and better visuals.
• Drifting effects now adapt to each biome’s terrain and materials for added realism.

Hello, Loopers!
While we are working hard to bring you the Update 3 to the table (spoiler: it's in just a few weeks), we wanted to share an update on the Early Access Roadmap.
As you can see on the image in the below, Update 2 brought a few differences with the plans we had originally. We heard your feedback and decided to change the loadout system. We removed completely the unlocks tree we had and changed it by a different system that freely lets you choose the set of Vehicle-Weapon-Hope that you want, adding an upgrade system to the weapons, and a passive unique ability to each car. We also added many other things (new weapon, vehicle, and a more fancy pause/end screen)... but enough about the past! Let's see what's ahead:
Update 3 will bring cool content and a special feature you all love... Let's see:
New Map: New York! Come to this snowy and icy city, unleash mayhem on it, and let those robots know who's in charge!
A new Boss: the Brass Golem will be haunting you from now on, taking turns with the exhausted Corrosive Titan while trying to frustrate your attempts of escaping the map. Wishing you luck with this one!
Speaking about Corrosive Titan, he got also a revision, now having more feedback on some abilities, and scaling properly in all attacks with the difficulty.
Drum rolls please... ACHIEVEMENTS! You all wanted them, so there you go. Achievements will be available in the next update. Hope you like them!
A new map selection screen: we wanted to make it a bit more interesting and easy to navigate, so there you go!
And that's it for now, Loopers! As I said before, this month we will release the update, and will keep working hard towards Update 4, which will be focused entirely on gameplay content.
As always, thanks for playing and see you in the Loop!
We're thrilled to be part of the Games Forged in Germany event on Steam! To celebrate, Driveloop: Survivors is 20% OFF for a limited time!

Hey Loopers!
A big update just hit the garage. This one changes how you build your loadouts, how weapons and hopes behave, and brings a brand new vehicle to the fight. Let’s go over the details:
Now every vehicle is completely independent from the weapons and their special abilities (we call them Hopes). This means you can now create any combination of Vehicle–Weapon–Hope. One vehicle, one weapon, and one hope are unlocked by default, the rest you’ll need to unlock with currency.
As a result of the above, we’ve removed the vehicle leveling system entirely.
A very agile and drifty vehicle with lower durability. Great for dodgers and drifters!
Each vehicle now comes with a unique passive that defines its playstyle and synergy potential. Explore and experiment!
No more variants. Similar ones were reworked or removed. Now we have 5 completely distinct weapons (with more coming soon!). Each weapon has 12 upgrades in the Loadout menu: some are stat boosts, others are major gameplay changers. Check them out!
We’ve cleaned up redundant ones and tweaked the rest. There are now 8 fully unique Hopes, each with a distinct identity.
Most shop items are still around, but a few have been removed or shifted into weapon upgrades. New items have been added too! You can now buy upgrades for previously untouched areas like Spare Parts Damage, AoE, and Crew Member damage.
More beautiful, more usable, and with tabs to inspect your current build and more info during the run.
Also revamped with better visuals and more useful data. Still a work in progress — we’ll keep improving it.
You can now navigate menus using the analog stick.
Weapons, Hopes, Vehicle stats, Enemies, Currency drops, Prices, and more, have been rebalanced for a better progress.
• 🛠️ Settings menu now stores changes correctly
• 🔄 Rerolling an upgrade no longer shows Crew Members incorrectly
• 🛡️ Deflection chance was not working, now it is!
• 🌐 Fixed some localization text issues
