Hello chefs!
It’s time to watch the grill, the sausages, and the world burn! Doomsday Diner is out now on Steam!
To celebrate, we’ve got a brand-new trailer for you all.
This is a huge moment for our small team. We’ve been working on this game for around two years, and for it to finally see the light of day is certainly a heck of a sight. The game is not meant to be a serious commentary on our current world (or is it?) or a deep piece of art (or it is perhaps…), but something light-hearted that we hope brings you a bit of a laugh. In fact, if our wobbly sausages get a giggle out of you, our mission is complete.
With that in mind, we hope you’ll enjoy Doomsday Diner! And please, leave a review, as that will help us out A LOT with discoverability on Steam.
So without further ado, here is Doomsday Diner.
Welcome to your first shift in the Wasteland.
All the best,
Your Space Rock Games and UNIKAT teams

Hello chefs,
With Doomsday Diner coming in less than three weeks, we thought it might be nice to give you a few tips for your full-time work in the Wasteland. You know, just in case things get a bit heated. When the grill is sizzling, the people are impatient and hungry, and on top of that, you get raiders coming and trying to steal your cash, any bit of info helps. Let’s get into it!
Your diner star rating increases the amount of tips you earn from orders. Doing your best to clean your diner and complete orders helps you have a successful diner for longer. If you don’t, you might get fired. And unemployment is rather high in the Wasteland.
You get two uses of the blaster shield upgrade a day. If things are starting to get dicey, don’t fret - just be sure to use that big button by the gun case and problems solved (for now).
Sausages bounce off enemy bullets. Use that information wisely.
If things get a bit too quick for your liking, drink some coffee. Your mind will get into super slo-mo mode, making those ultra-fast tasks seem sooo much slower.
The Big Hands upgrade can really speed up preparing to cook those larger orders, allowing you to move many items at once. And by moving many items, we don’t mean just sausages.
We hope that these tips will be of use to you while you get settled in your new job.
Also, a huge massive kudos to you all. Our game has just about hit 15,000 wishlists, and it’s all thanks to you! So thank you for all your support, comments, feedback, and reviews on our demo (you can play it right here) so far - we used them all to make Doomsday Diner even better.
Doomsday Diner is coming out on July 23rd, so in less than a few weeks. We’ll be showing more of the game as we approach release, but in the meantime, join us on Discord and share your feedback on the demo too. Would love to hear your thoughts!
Until next time,
Your Space Rock and UNIKAT people

Hello chefs,
A quick update from us.
Our Doomsday Diner Playtest build has just been updated with a bunch of all-new fixes, quality of life improvements, and with what seem as small, pointless details, but bring just that little bit more of dopamine energy.
Some of the highlights include:
You can now place the sponge back in its original spot
You can throw stuff out the window (yes!!)
Improved balancing
Lots of Quality of Life improvements
Improved tutorial
And more
The best part is that a lot of those changes have been suggested by you, so thank you!
You can still play the closed playtests by heading to the main Doomsday Diner Steam page and clicking on the green “Request Access” button.
And please, keep that feedback coming! It’s really helping us make a better game, and it’s also quite interesting to hear what you all think of Doomsday Diner. You have us all intrigued (in a good way).
So hit that Request Access button, download Doomsday Diner when you get a notification from Steam, join our Discord, and share your thoughts with us!
Good luck serving the Wasteland!
Your Space Rock Games and UNIKAT team
Hello chefs,
The apocalypse is heating up, and so is the grill!
We’re absolutely pumped to announce that Doomsday Diner playtests are officially open!
Over the last few months, we’ve been working hard on our game, adding content, new mechanics (such as cleaning!), and giving it as much love as it possibly can. Now, we would like for you to try it out and give us your honest feedback.
How can you play the beta? Simple! Just head to the main Doomsday Diner Steam page and click on the green “Request Access” button.
This goes without saying, but your feedback is incredibly important. These playtests will help shape Doomsday Diner into the chaotic cooking and combat experience that you would like to play. So don’t hold back, and share what you liked and disliked via our in-game feedback form and on our Discord.
So hit that Request Access button, download Doomsday Diner when you get a notification from Steam, join our Discord, and share your thoughts with us there and in our feedback form!
Have fun surviving the apocalypse and the lunch hour rush,
Your Space Rock Games and Unikat team.
