Celebrating 20 years of Klei Entertainment and 10 years of Don't Starve Together, we've got a bunch of stuff for you today!

Don't Starve Together: From Beyond - Cursed Confrontation Part 1 is coming June 11th!

We spent a bit more time on WX-78 skill spotlight than anticipated, so the Shadow arc will be released in two parts. The focus of this update will be on the final room in the Sanctum, where you can obtain the Keystone. For now, taking the Keystone to the Ancient Gateway will just reset the Sanctum.

Highlights

• New boss and loot drops from the Sanctum.

Klei Fest Starts Thursday, June 11th!

Summer is right around the corner, and that means the return of Klei Fest! We’re getting ready for our annual celebration with big discounts, releases, game updates, and miscellaneous happenings across the Klei universe.

Today we have a small Follow-Up Shadow Affinity update for the WX-78 Skill spotlight.

Highlights Include:

• Added a new Chessmaster Circuit.

• Added the Shadow Servitor skill for WX-78.

• Replaced Field Survey II skill with Signal Booster skill, which boosts all drone ranges in general.

• Roto-Mapper now also functions similar to Ocuvigil, but only revealed to the owner.

• Additional behaviour and interactions for the Possessed Chassis.

WX-78 Skill Spotlight The WX-78 skill spotlight is now available on Steam. We aren't quite happy with Shadow Affinity, so we decided to lock that part of the tree, and we'll hotfix it in as soon as we have it ready for you. We'll need a few more days for console since we need a new build for console that holds off the shadow affinity portion of the tree. We expect this to be released for console on Monday. We apologize for the inconvenience here, but we think it's worth it for us to make sure Shadow Affinity meets our expectations.  Highlights

- WX-78 Skill Tree added. - WX-78 base Circuit system expanded to 3 bars. - Added several new Circuits. - Now that Year of the Clockwork Knight is over, players will be limited to 2 (or 3 for WX-78) of each type of Clockwork followers at a time.

It's Lunar New Year, and we've got joust what you're looking for! The "Year of the Clockwork Knight" is now available on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation, and will be available on Nintendo Switch as soon as it completes certification.

We've also got new skins and special drop rates on Winter themed skins. This year - we're celebrating Winter's Feast with Pearl!

Highlights Include:

• A new upgrade tier for Pearl’s Place after meeting certain conditions, with customizable slots for Wind Charm decorations.

• New structures that can be crafted for Pearl after meeting certain conditions, including a Tea Shop, Hot Spring, Large Drying Rack, Light Post, Rocking Chair, and Combriner.

• New items that require Salt Crystals to be crafted at the Combriner.

• Drying Rack changes now produce Fishy Jerky for fish meat, and can now dry Petals and other similar leafy materials.

Hallowed Nights is upon us once again and that means that means treats for you! We have a new animated short, a bunch of free spooky skins and the Hallowed Nights event has been updated as well!

Highlights include:  

• Carvable Pumpkin Heads that can make you less afraid of the dark and other spooks during Hallowed Nights

• Crystal-Crested Buzzards that roam the world after Lunar Hail

• More creature corpses can now mutate into their existing lunar counterparts

• New spawn mechanics and combat behaviour for Inimical Gestalts

New Skins

A new Trick-or-Treat chest is now available for all players and includes the Webwork Quilt, Beast Effigy, Webwam, Sarcarrotgus and Web Master T-Shirt skins. Simply log into the game during Hallowed Nights to get yours!

The “Supercapa-sitter” skin for the Replica Relic Chair is also available as a login reward.

Trick-or-Treat!

And finally, all players will receive a second Trick-or-Treat chest containing one random Hallowed Nights costume set. Additionally items from the Hallowed Nights Collection and Costume Collection will have increased drop rates for the duration of the event!  That's it for now! We're continuing on as we head toward the end of the year. As you have seen with this years Hallowed Nights content, we've dipped into a little bit of game content as well. You can expect something similar for Winter's Feast and then we're on to Lunar New Year content.

Hey  Everybody! We have a couple of surprises for you today.  First, we have a Follow-Up release for the "From Beyond - Ancient Echoes" update! Highlights Include:

• Items pulled down the giant whirlpool are now grouped in a single pile that can be rummaged to retrieve them.

• Replaced the path to one of the Fountain rooms with a new puzzle room in the Sanctum.

• Ruins and Sanctum Relics can now be used as furniture decoration.

• Geothermite creature found in the Fumarole biome

Simply log in to the game to claim it.  And - one other special thing.  We've been quietly working on something special for you to tie up some loose threads with the Don't Starve lore. For a while now, we have been handling lore mostly through game content and Intermissions, but starting now, we'll also be periodically presenting some extra hidden lore content for you. Sometimes this may be a simple comic, or it may be something a little more... interesting. We want to ease you back into things, so we'll keep it simple. Extra resources for delivering lore have always been somewhat of a challenge. Sometimes it takes us longer than other times. Planning time and the effort required can be hard to justify for something that is sort of just for fun. Especially when we have something we are trying to convey in the lore. Coordinating things in such a way that is worth our time and yours has always been a labour of love. Together, we have come up with some new methods to make this fun and engaging for all of us. As you will see, this will come in different forms and at different times. Many of you will be interested. Understandably, some of you may not. Still, we hope that the result is more of lore that you love and a fun way to pass the time between updates.  You now have everything you need to begin! Once you think you have found it. You haven't. Look further - but somewhere else. Think back to how we did things before and do it again.

Hello everybody! The "Ancient Echoes" update is now available, and with it, we've got some new skins, a login bonus, some new streaming drops, and more.

Highlights Include:  Additions

• Added a Fumarole area where an old companion of the Ancients will appear during the Shadow Rift.

• Added a Giant Whirlpool, which tends to pull everything down with it.

  • Caves must be enabled for it to appear.

• Added hidden rooms in the Caves that can be explored to uncover Ancient lore, that is if you can find the entrance…

• Woodie’s Wooden Walking Stick no longer consumes durability when its wearer is not moving.

• Birds now have death sounds.
