Thank you for 10'000 wishlists!
We’ve reached an incredible milestone — 10,000 players have added Dollhouse of Dead to their wishlists!
From the bottom of our dark little dollhouse hearts: thank you. Your support gives life to this nightmare and inspires us to make it even more terrifying, more twisted, and more unforgettable
This is only the beginning — the doors of the dollhouse are just starting to creak open, and much darker rooms await
Stay close. Stay brave. And once again… thank you for being part of this journey into fear
The demo of Dollhouse of Dead has finally emerged from the shadows. Dare to step inside?
Thanks to the screams and whispers of our playtesters, we have reshaped parts of the nightmare:
Certain creatures have been altered, their forms twisted into something more… unsettling
Balance has been reworked to ensure every encounter keeps you on edge
Countless cracks in the walls have been sealed—bugs and glitches exorcised to let the horror breathe as intended
This is only the beginning. Enter the dollhouse, explore its dark corners, and let us know what terrors you uncover. Your feedback fuels the nightmare
Hello scavengers,
The closed playtest for Dollhouse of Dead has come to an end, and we want to thank every single one of you who dared to step inside. Your screams, strategies, and bug reports have been invaluable. Here’s a glimpse at what happened behind those cursed doors
Playtest Stats:
2,438 players joined the test
Average sessions per player: 2.7
47 brave souls played more than 10 sessions, with one champion reaching 19 sessions
Party sizes: 40% played in pairs, 37% solo, 16% trios, 7% full parties
Win rate: 17% of sessions ended in survival, while 83%… didn’t
Only 4% of players reached the final floor. The Dollhouse doesn’t let go easily
What’s Next:
September 11 - the free demo will be unleashed, mark your calendars
We’re also excited to announce that Dollhouse of Dead will take part in the Hungry Ghost Festival - a fitting stage for restless spirits and doomed wanderers
Thank you again for being part of this first step. The Dollhouse remembers you… and it’s waiting
Our playtest has closed its creaking doors, but not before we made a few “improvements” inside the Dollhouse:
Characters now show emotions (sometimes fear looks better on you)
A refreshed lobby to welcome you… politely, for now
Rebalanced monsters with new tricks - don’t get too comfortable
Updated tutorial (so you at least know how you’ll die)
Sharper UI indicators and smoother interactions
Faster loading, because nightmares shouldn’t keep you waiting
Improved voice chat - your screams will sound crystal clear
And of course, many bugs have been exorcised thanks to your reports!
The playtest ends here, but the real horror is only beginning...
Welcome to the first devlog of Dollhouse of Dead!
This is a series of posts in which we talk (and show) about all the changes that have occurred in the game recently. Here is the list of changes and some ridiculous pics:
Early work on dance & special poses – Because why not express yourself before doom arrives? Dance till you're dead!
Revamped tutorial – Clearer instructions to help scavengers navigate the horror
New NPC in the lobby – Meet the unsettling Rabbit… he’s always repairing something...
Dead players can now hear living players – Even in death, you’re not alone
The moment we've been waiting for has finally arrived. With great joy and excitement, we announce the start of the playtest for Dollhouse of Dead, a terrifying co-op horror game set in the eerie atmosphere of an abandoned toy factory.
The playtest includes:
4 unique characters, each with their own abilities
"Happiness" Factory—the first location available to new recruits of Dollhouse Corp.
A wide variety of items, but be careful when using some of them—certain items haven't undergone special testing yet (that's why we need you!)
Your feedback will help us improve the game, so don’t hesitate to share what you liked and what we still need to work on!
Add the game to your wishlist, join our Discord, and don’t forget to share this news with your friends—let everyone know that Dollhouse Corp. is looking for new scavengers!
Added Voice Chat
Players can communicate freely in the lobby, but in the session, players can only hear each other at a certain distance
In the settings, you can adjust the volume of each player
Players cannow set tags that are visible to all players in the session, making communication easier
Significantly reduced the number of mines in the level, as well as reduced the activation radius and the radius of floor mines. Tripwire mines now spawn primarily on lower floors. Also, mines now do not react to hidden players
Now if all players in the session are killed, valuable resources in the van will not be saved for changing
When dying in a single player game, the player will now spawn on a higher floor instead of the same one, which should reduce the number of incidents
Rabbit speed is slightly reduced
Added visual effect when the light switch is activated for the first time in the block
Added hints for changing player buttons in observer mode and removed HUD in this mode
The sound of breathing during hide-and-seek has been significantly changed
Improved the tutorial
Added additional hints when loading a level
Updated the visual of opponents' eyes
In single player mode, daily achievements are no longer displayed
Fixed the description of some items
Fixed the ability to remove items from the tutorial
Fixed the ability to connect to the lobby of the player when he does the tutorial
Fixed a bug that led to the inability to change the mouse sensitivity
Fixed incorrect display of the player with the item in his hands during hiding in the toilet
Removed the possibility of being blocked by the safe door
