Minor bug fixes
Hello fellow cultists,
We've just released a small hotfix to address a recent security vulnerability discovered in the Unity engine.
This issue affected a wide range of games across the industry. Importantly, Unity has confirmed there is no evidence of this vulnerability being used against any players.
Our new patch ensures our game is fully protected. Steam will download this update automatically. No further action is needed from you, other than ensuring your game is up to date.
We also made a few minor bugfixes. Still working on the Major Narrative Update (might be a bit delayed).
Fixed the game soft locking on chill mode,
Fixed the bug when defining doctor's name
Hey, fellow cultists!
We have entered an amazing bundle with Static Dread. Another Lovecraftian game about a person taking a job (Lighthouse keeper in this case) that ends up more dangerous than they expected.
And if you are coming from Static Dread's page, welcome! Hope our Lovecraftian Doctor satisfies your itch of Eldritch horrors.
We've focused this update on Gameplay systems. Making the experience richer, but also stranger.
We are also going to release the first Narrative Update in 2-3 months, hopefully earlier, but these things take time. We'll be specifically working on new characters, new events, and most importantly we'll explore and delve into more detail regarding previous characters and some lore aspects.
But for now - Here's what's new:
One patient..isn't what it seems
Something has taken interest in you.
New diseases for the Magnifier and Stethoscope to reveal. Eyes. Mouths. You'll experience it all.
Heal endlessly, rack up points.. Until you slip. Every death has a cost.
Send even one patient at -1 or 0? The game ends. Be precise. Be mercilessly careful.
Heal efficiently to earn bonus seconds. Fail, and your time bleeds away.
Unlocked after your first full playthrough. Get ready to test yourself. No handholding.
Now you can look up/down using \ and \ keys. No detail escapes your attention.
Drag with the mouse now supported - no more scroll-only frustrations.
No spiders. You're safe.
Endless mode now has new goals to push your limits.
We've addressed key bugs and improved overall performance for a smoother descent into madness.
