Update v.0.2.0
BoDy51steam_community_announcements
Agony and progression
- Replaced the reset-based Ascension system with permanent Agony Ranks I–X, giving every rank its own zone progression, enemy scaling, and improved rewards.
- Added a dedicated illustrated Difficulty window for Normal, Nightmare, Hell, and Agony, with unique backdrops, gothic icons, smooth transitions, and a toolbar indicator for the active difficulty.
- Higher Agony ranks now reduce the effectiveness of Armor, making defensive progression more important as the endgame becomes harder.
- Rebalanced the opening hours, difficulty curve, loot, affixes, item PowerScore, and the 100-node skill tree around a roughly 50-hour journey toward Agony X.
Items, equipment, and hero stats
- Replaced the complete item art set: all 32 equippable items now have new individual sprites across weapons, helmets, armor, rings, and trinkets.
- Weapons now have their own base Attack Speed, creating a clearer difference between slow heavy weapons and faster alternatives.
- Weapon cards now lead with calculated DPS and separately show base Damage, Attack Speed, and secondary affixes, making upgrades easier to evaluate.
- Added a dedicated Hero tab to the inventory with a full stat overview, grouped offensive, defensive, and utility values, and calculated total DPS.
- Expanded the inventory's Gear tab with equipment previews on hover, pinned comparisons, and clear labels showing which item is currently equipped.
- Reworked the equipment layout into a more readable 2+2+1 arrangement, kept labels inside their frames, prevented comparison-card overlap, and added clearer slot highlighting.
- Updated item names across the loot pool to give equipment a stronger identity while keeping existing saves compatible.
Farming HUD and camera
- Rebuilt the farming HUD with new textured health-orb visuals, enemy health, zone progress, refreshed toolbar icons, and a clearer overall composition.
- Improved camera framing around the hero and the current enemy. The camera now tracks their midpoint with an authored offset and keeps its last valid focus when a combat target briefly disappears.
Offline progress and save safety
- Added offline XP and Gold rewards with a dedicated result window that clearly shows what was earned while the game was closed.
- Strengthened save protection against partial initialization and progress regression. Saves are now written atomically with a backup, reducing the risk of losing hero or permanent zone progress.
Desktop experience
- The game window can now be dragged from the battlefield and other non-interactive areas without requiring a separate drag handle; window locking still prevents movement.
- Expanded the window-size options from three presets to five. All five now adapt to the active monitor's working area, preventing larger sizes from overlapping the Windows taskbar.
- Improved movement between monitors with different display scales, including better grab anchoring, snapping, and management-window placement.
- If the game window is completely lost outside the visible screens, the game brings it back. Free offscreen placement remains available when snapping is disabled.
- When the management interface is closed, its hidden half no longer blocks clicks intended for windows underneath the game.
