Full Steam announcements and update articles for this title.
These two new updates include fixes for bugs found in the game. Several changes have also been made to improve the experience.
But most importantly, a system for quickly submitting bug reports has been added. Now, when an error occurs in the game, a window that allows you to send us information about it opens automatically. The report only contains the error text from the game engine, without any private or identifying information. This will make it easier for us to determine exactly where in the game code the problem might be.
Fixed some cases where save files could become corrupted.
The interface element displaying resources stored in the warehouse city is now highlighted in a different color for better map readability.
The game mode (Classic or Relaxed) is now displayed in the save file window to make it easier to distinguish which mode the save was made in.
The error window that appears when loading a corrupted save file has been improved. It now includes a button to open the save folder, as well as our email and a button to visit our Discord server.
The game no longer freezes on a black screen when loading a corrupted save file directly from within the game rather than from the menu.
Thank you for reporting any bugs you find in the game! We try to respond quickly to all reports.
Now, fully upgraded cities provide a bonus of your choice: money generation, reputation generation, the ability to use the city as a warehouse for storing resources, or the ability to create police officers (unlocks later in the game). You’re probably wondering: “What police officers?"
And here we come to the second major new feature of the update: bandit camps. They appear only in Classic mode. Bandits raid your carriages traveling in the area near their camp. In other words, every few minutes, they loot one of your carriages. Moreover, if you don’t take action against a bandit camp, it will expand over time. As it expands, the radius and frequency of raids will increase. To eliminate the camp and arrest the bandits, you’ll need police officers. Police officers are earned by upgrading towns, and are also available as an optional bonus for a fully upgraded town.
You don’t have to start a new game from scratch to see these changes. They also apply to saved games loaded from the old version.
New backgrounds have been added to the mine screens to provide variety and make it easier to quickly identify which mine the player is currently in.
Replaced the images of several map objects: Depot, Stadium, and Park. We’ve redesigned them to be more attractive and eye-catching.
Added a button to return to the last mine visited.
Fixed a bug where the interface could disappear after a mine explosion animation.
Fixed a bug where players might run out of dinosaur bones to fill the museum by the end of the game.
Fixed a bug that caused the names of some cities in the rating downgrade panel to be cut off.
What are we working on now? First and foremost, we’re working on what you’ve been asking for the most - a redesign of the upgrades screen. We’ll be presenting the new version to you soon. We also plan to start working on a new game mode in the near future - the so-called “New Game+”. Essentially, this will be a separate game mode with a high degree of randomness, but, for now, set on the familiar map from Campaign mode.
At the same time, one of our programmers is working on a Sandbox mode. We’ll soon show you the results of his work on random map generation.
We hope you enjoy today’s update! And we’re already preparing the next one to delight you even more! Thank you for playing Deep Corp!

We’re preparing the next update that will introduce bandit camps. Lawlessness reigns in the state, and this must be addressed. Bandit camps will appear from time to time in various locations, and if they aren’t eliminated in time, they will expand and new ones will spring up. Bandits raid carriages and steal the resources they transport. Each gang operates in a specific territory around its camp. Therefore, make sure your carriage routes do not pass through this territory unless you have recruited enough police officers to arrest the criminals.
Thus, another valuable profession will be introduced to the game: Police officers. You’ll receive police officers only by upgrading cities and as an optional bonus from a city that’s been fully upgraded. After a bandit camp is eliminated, the police officers take a well-deserved break (retiring or moving to a quieter job in the cities) and are removed from your roster. In addition, we’d like to introduce a system of bonuses from fully upgraded cities in the upcoming update. Aside from gaining police officers, you’ll also be able to choose passive income, passive rating growth, slow generation of a specific resource, or designate the city as a storage facility for a specific resource. It will take us some time to complete this update, as it is currently planned to be the most extensive one we’ve released since the game launched in Early Access. However, we’re also working in parallel on the Sandbox game mode, which we know many of you are eagerly awaiting. We’ll do our best to make you happy! As always, don't forget to join our Discord server: https://discord.com/invite/9eHyYap
With a small team and limited resources, we’re constantly faced with the question of what to prioritize: optimizing and fixing minor issues, or adding new content and features. We strive to strike a balance so we can delight as many players as possible. Today’s update is mostly about fixes and optimization. But the next one, according to our plans, should bring something new. The most noticeable change is the updated interface. We’re working to make it look great and be user-friendly. What do you think? Work is still ongoing, so you can expect further tweaks in future updates.

Based on extensive feedback, we've selected the most important features to implement in the upcoming updates.
The main focus of today's update is improving the ease of managing the game's mining component. Now, hovering your mouse over the miner count panel displays statistics on how many miners are mining each resource in that mine. Separate buttons have also been added for quickly accessing idle miners (due to a full warehouse or other reasons) and recalling them. This means you no longer have to manually inspect all the mines and search for idle miners visually.
Increased the amount of Shale and Limestone generated in the first mine
Added a window with a list of discovered resources for each mine
Fixed the bug with the display of factory production
Fixed several bugs related to skipping the tutorial
Fixed the bug with the numbering of mines in notifications about a warehouse being full
For the next update, we've decided that fully upgraded cities should give the player various bonuses. Moreover, the players themselves should choose which ones. Want to learn more about our future plans and join the discussions? Then join us on our Discord server, where we publish exclusive posts and information: https://discord.com/invite/9eHyYap. For example, we recently shared photos from the CD Action Expo, and today we published a post with ideas for bonuses from upgraded cities and the bandit raid system.
In the meantime, we're off to prepare the next update. So long!
This weekend, May 30–31, we’ll be taking part in the CD Action Expo gaming convention in Łódź, Poland.
At our booth, anyone can play Deep Corp, which was recently released in Early Access. Come on by! We look forward to meeting our players!
P.S.: The plan for the next update has already been approved, and preparations have begun :)
We've received quite a few requests for a more relaxed way to play, without rating system or city timers. Therefore, we've added a difficulty choice. On Classic difficulty, a player can lose if their rating drops to zero (which happens when city residents are unhappy due to slow product delivery). On "Relaxed" difficulty, there's no rating, and cities will wait as long as needed. This means you can service cities one by one, if you don't want to rush ahead and complete multiple tasks at once. Difficulty can only be changed at the start of a Story Mode playthrough; it can't be changed for the same playthrough on the fly.
Also, by popular demand, we've redesigned the display of autosaves (which were already present in the game; you could simply click "Play" in the main menu and then "Continue"). They are now also visible on the Load screen (previously, only manual saves were displayed there).
A few things that will improve gameplay convenience: the automatic exit to the map when upgrading cities and objects has been removed. You'll receive a notification in the corner of the screen. This allows you to better focus on current tasks and avoid interruptions.
An option to limit notifications to only really important ones (those displayed in the lower left corner of the screen) has been added to the settings.
The mine's sale price has been added when its resources are almost depleted. This is to clearly show how much money can be obtained from selling it if the mine is completely empty. We highly recommend doing this. Later mines, in particular, can be sold at a very favorable price!
This update also fixes bugs related to saving. The save system has become more stable and robust. We've also added three more autosave slots so you can revert to an earlier stage of the game if necessary.
A bug that some players experienced when purchasing Mine No.6 has also been fixed. A rare bug that caused a black screen to appear after loading certain saves has also been fixed.
The ability to build routes between markets has been added.
Several fixes have been made to the order of storyline moments: the market newspaper used to appear when purchasing a second mine, but now it displays correctly only after the player has built the Market.
In addition, we've made minor adjustments to various parts of the game.
We wish you a pleasant gaming experience! We're off to prepare the next update! 🤠
First of all, we’d like to thank our first players for their kind words at the start of Early Access. It’s only been one day since the release, and we’ve already received a lot of feedback, and that’s great! Keep writing to us, because that’s how you let us know what you like, what you don’t like, and what needs our attention. Your comments and reviews also help other players understand what the game is about and whether it’s worth checking out. And the more players we can attract, the more we’ll be able to do during Early Access.
Thank you!!! 🤠
Meanwhile, we’ve identified the first bugs and issues and have already compiled a list of what we’ll tackle first (actually, we’re already working on it - an update is on its way!).
Many of you have mentioned that you’d like a more relaxed gameplay experience. So, in the next update, we’ll be adding a “Relaxed” difficulty mode where you can’t lose.
Also, many players don’t realize that the game has autosaves (to continue playing, simply click the “Play” button in the main menu and then select “Continue”). Therefore, we’ll also add them to a separate “Load” screen.
Another priority is fixing bugs that prevent further progress in the game (for example, some players are having trouble unlocking Mine No.6).
We’ll do our best to release this update as soon as possible, within the next few days (we’ll likely start testing the new build as early as today). So stay tuned for updates so you don’t miss the release - we’ll post about them here and on our Discord server.
Also, very soon we’ll start working on a new game mode (for now it’s called New Game+, but it’s actually more like a separate game mode), in which players will choose which mines, cities, and other locations to unlock, as well as which quests to complete. This mode should give players more freedom of choice and replayability.
Early Access has begun, which means the game is available for purchase starting today!
We’re thrilled that you can finally try out our game. Please share your thoughts! We try to read all the feedback about the game.
Today’s Early Access launch is just the beginning. We’re already working on the Sandbox mode, which should significantly diversify playthroughs after the first one, improve replayability and provide dozens of hours of gameplay! But there are plenty of exciting updates to look forward to before then. To make things easier, we’ve put together a roadmap that outlines our plans for the near future:
Please note that all of this is only part of our plans, we’ll provide more details on the progress of updates in separate posts.
Once again, congratulations to all our players on this important day! Thank you for your continued support!

Don't forget to add the game to your wishlist and like our posts so we can see that it's worth the effort we've put into making this game for you – it's truly important!
We also have a cozy Discord server where you can discuss Deep Corp with other players very soon. And what's even better – we read every message there and respond to many! https://discord.com/invite/9eHyYap
Check out the new trailer that shows what awaits you in Deep Corp's Story Mode. The game launches in Early Access on May 26 - that means there's less than a week of wait left! Give us a like if you enjoyed the trailer! It means a lot to us!
The new Demo version is now available! The most important change is that saves are now synced with the full game. This means you can start playing now and pick up right where you left off in the full version when the game launches on May 26.
And a few more changes:
Added a bank screen (doesn’t unlock right at the start of the game!) where you can take out loans
Changed the font
Added new music

May is turning out to be an incredibly eventful month! In addition to the game’s upcoming Early Access release (May 26 - you’ve marked that date on your calendar, right? :) ), we’re participating in two offline events with our own booth, where anyone can try out Deep Corp and chat with us, the developers.
The first is the Digital Dragons Conference 2026. This is a B2B conference taking place on May 17-19 in Kraków, Poland. The conference has been running for many years, and its attendees include people who are already working in the gaming industry or wish to join it.
The second is CD Action Expo 2026. This is a gaming expo taking place on May 30–31 in Łódź, Poland. This year, the organizers are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the magazine of the same name, which is still published in print.
In addition to this, at the end of August we plan to attend GamesCom in Cologne, Germany. Although, unlike the other events, we will most likely not have a booth there.
Come visit us at our booth at the Digital Dragons Conference 2026 and CD Action Expo 2026! We look forward to seeing you! :)
You've probably already played the Demo and seen the first simple productions. But as you progress through the game, more complex recipes will become available! Today, we'll show you an example of a production recipe for one product, printing presses:
As you can see, making one product requires a whopping 8 raw materials! You can't immediately proceed to creating the final product; intermediate materials must first be produced. Typically, these intermediate materials are needed in different recipes, not just one.
And here's how such a production chain looks in-game (production processes are selected in factories, and routes are created between them):

Some of you may have already noticed that we’ve updated the release date information. The Early Access release will take place on May 26!
This means that preparations for the first public version of the game are entering the final stretch. Very soon, we’ll finish balancing the Story mode, finalize the graphics, and begin testing and polishing the game.
To make sure you don’t miss the game’s Early Access launch, don’t forget to add it to your wishlist and subscribe to updates!
There’s just over a month left until the game’s release. Work is in full swing! And lately, we’ve been focusing on the Story Mode. We estimate it will take over 20 hours to complete. You don't need to worry about a game of this genre having a story. We’ve tried to ensure that it doesn’t distract from the main focus - the gameplay - and, more importantly, that it provides more motivation and clarity about what we’re doing and why. Let’s go over the numbers and see what to expect at the start of Early Access (though we’ve already started planning updates!).
So, we’re hunting for resources. There will be a whopping 24 types of them in the game! They’re categorized by rarity - from very common (like coal and iron) to very rare (sapphires, diamonds, and so on). Rarity determines not only how often and in what quantities you’ll find a resource in mines, but also the exchange rate at which you can trade them on the Market. Generally speaking, very valuable gems are rarely used in production, but they can be traded on the market for something you need right now at a very profitable rate.
Speaking of mines. Although their generation follows certain rules, chance plays a significant role here. This adds a lot of replayability, especially in Story Mode. There will be 13 mines in this mode. They all contain different sets of resources and even vary in depth. Don’t forget that mines can and should be sold. It’s very profitable! However, you can only sell a mine once you’ve extracted all its resources and archaeological artifacts.
By the way, about archaeology: the game features 13 valuable artifacts, parts of which you’ll need to find underground and dig up. Each time, the museum will pay you a hefty sum for your find.
We use the extracted resources to produce goods. The game already features a whopping 90 recipes! Moreover, the further you progress in the game, the more complex production chains you’ll need to organize. For example, to build a steam locomotive, you’ll need to set up a chain involving about ten different production steps!
Please note that all of the above applies to the game’s Early Access version. The project’s future will depend largely on your feedback.
We’re nearing the final stage of preparing the game for Early Access, so don’t forget to join our Discord to stay updated on the latest news: https://discord.gg/9eHyYap
Today we'd like to talk about a very important location on the game map: the Market. There, you can exchange one resource for another at a set exchange rate.
Even in the campaign mode we're currently working on, random generation plays a significant role. Although resource distribution in the mines follows predefined rules, the element of randomness also plays an important role. This keeps the game interesting between multiple playthroughs. However, there may be situations where a specific resource in a purchased mine has run out, but more of it is needed for production. Or the player hasn’t found it under the ground yet. In such case, the simplest solution is to use the Market.
Select the desired resource and its quantity, as well as the resource you want to exchange. You will be offered a specific exchange rate. For example, you'll need a lot of the commonly found coal to get one unit of a rarer resource, such as zinc. And vice versa: for one unit of gold, you can buy a lot of coal. In general, precious resources, such as gold, diamonds, sapphires, and others, are very well suited for trading on the market, as they have a very high price.
However, remember that all resources intended for trade must first be transported to the market by carriages. And, of course, you’ll need to collect the resources you receive.
Don't forget to add the game to your wishlist if you don't want to miss its release. We also invite you to join our Discord community! https://discord.gg/9eHyYap
We are continuing to share development news.
Recently, we have been working on implementing the archaeology system.
As you may have noticed, archaeology is not available in the Demo. The ability to obtain exhibits for the museum becomes available later in the game. First, you will need to construct the museum building. After that, you need to hire archaeologists and find bones or other paleontological treasures underground. They are obtained in the same way as minerals. Interestingly, you will have to collect exhibits in pieces in most cases. In one place, you will find a tyrannosaurus skull, its legs in another, and so on. The skeleton of the same animal can even be scattered across different mines. Therefore, we recommend that you carefully explore the entire territory of the mines you have purchased.
Archaeologists' sketch, drawing in progress:
When a part of the skeleton is excavated, it is sent to the museum. There you can see what has already been found and how many parts you still need to find. With each new discovery, the museum becomes more and more filled.
Of course, you don't collect exhibits for no reason. There is a monetary reward for collecting individual parts. The reward will be even greater for collecting an entire exhibit.
Thank you for following the project! We have many important tasks ahead of us in the coming months, as the game's early access release is just around the corner! This means there will be more news about how we are implementing new features in the game.
While preparing for the festival, we didn't expect the demo version of our game to be so well received. Thank you for adding the game to your wishlist and writing reviews! It's important to us, and we've already taken several suggestions from players into consideration. Most of the complaints were about a bug that occurs in certain situations towards the end of the game. Because of this bug, players were unable to complete the final task of the Demo — delivering the required amount of steel to build a bridge. We have fixed this issue with today's update.
Don't forget that we have Discord, where we publish the latest development news and where you can discuss the game with other players: https://discord.gg/9eHyYap
We have updated the Demo of the game. First of all, we would like to thank everyone who made reviews of the demo version, especially those who reported bugs. We have tried to fix all known issues related to resource delivery.
But the most important improvement is the introduction of new localizations. Translations have been added for French, German, Spanish, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese.
Development of the full version of the game is also in full swing. Soon we will share news about the new features we are currently implementing in the game. Don't forget to add the game to your wishlist if you don't want to miss its release. We also invite you to join our Discord community! https://discord.gg/9eHyYap
Be among the first to experience our upcoming game!
In the Demo, you will start developing your extraction company, meet your advisors, and solve problems in several neighboring cities.
It takes between 30 minutes and an hour to complete.
Let us know if you enjoyed the game. We read all messages and take your suggestions into account when developing the game.
The button for installing the Demo can be found on the game's Steam page:

Deep Corp will feature two main game modes: Campaign and Sandbox. We understand how important replayability is in games like this. And, of course, we will try to make every game session unique when you launch Sandbox. That means as much randomness as possible in the generation of the map, mines, resources, and quests.
However, Campaign mode will also be important, especially for players who appreciate a storyline in games. Of course, there is also an element of randomness in the generation of mines. Quests and the general storyline will stay the same among Campaign playthroughs. Therefore, for new players, we would recommend completing the Campaign first and then playing Sandbox.
In the Campaign, you will have assistants.
Oswaldo is the governor's assistant. He is a man who values order in everything. He will tell you what the residents of different cities need and give you valuable advice on developing the state under your control.
Bob is the miners' foreman. He is rude in communication, but a professional in his field. He knows everything about the extraction of resources. During your adventures, he will repeatedly help you in finding valuable resources for organizing new production facilities.
And of course, these are far from the only characters you will interact with during the game. Some will ask for help, while others will compete with you.
We are continuing to actively develop the game and share news. So make sure you subscribe to updates and our Discord server: https://discord.gg/9eHyYap
Deep Corp is a minimalist economic strategy game about mining natural resources and organizing goods production in a Wild West setting.
In fact, the gameplay is slightly more complex than in its predecessor from the same series, Fly Corp. It consists of two integral parts. The first is building a mine, finding resources, and assigning miners. The second is organizing the delivery of resources to factories, assigning production, and delivering products to cities and other places where they are needed.
The basics of the game are simple, but to achieve great success, you will need to take various aspects of the game into account: build tunnels correctly to avoid “traffic jams” of carts with extracted resources, organize production chains and routes between factories, and purchase global upgrades.
In the story, you are not only the owner of a mineral extraction business, but also the governor of a state that has been severely affected by natural disasters and a talentless previous governor. You need to produce and deliver products on time, otherwise your rating will drop, and if it drops to zero, you will lose your position and the game will be over.
We are preparing both a campaign mode with a storyline (you will have two funny assistants! We will tell you about them in a separate post) and a sandbox mode with randomly generated maps and mines.
When developing Deep Corp, we are trying to incorporate all the good things that players loved in Fly Corp. Therefore, we believe that everyone who loved our game about airplanes will appreciate Deep Corp.
The demo version will be available soon, in February. The game's early access release is scheduled for May. During this time, we will be publishing posts with more details about the game and its development. So, don't forget to add the game to your wishlist and subscribe to updates:
