Full Steam announcements and update articles for this title.
Today, DEBRISVERSE has officially launched. The grueling labor to repay your $100 million debt has begun. The story that uncovers the truth behind B.R.I.S. Corp. is now in your hands.
■ Free Demo Update: Play Through the First Ending
Coinciding with today's launch, we have massively expanded the playable scope of the demo. You can now play entirely for free up to the repayment of your $100 million debt (the first ending). Save data carries over seamlessly to the full version, so if you haven't started your shift yet, feel free to try it out.
■ \ New Endgame Content: "Mega Debris Rush (Working Title)"
Sometime in September 2026, we plan to implement a new endless endgame mode, "Mega Debris Rush (Working Title)", where you will face continuous waves of giant debris in deeper sectors of space.
In this grueling continuous sweep operation, you can acquire special "Cores" from your targets. Carefully select and synthesize the Cores you collect to build your very own ultimate Core, and push your operations further into the abyss.
Please note that this is a highly challenging mode unlocked only after reaching Ending 7. For now, focus on your primary duties, witness every conclusion, and await further updates.
■ We Want Your Feedback!
We are committed to continuously improving DEBRISVERSE to provide a better gaming experience based on player feedback. If you have any bug reports, feature requests, or general feedback, please feel free to share them on the Steam Community discussions. We look forward to hearing from you.

Now then, please commence your duties.
Thank you for your feedback during the playtest! We received many reports regarding the game lagging in the late game. In response, we have implemented massive performance optimizations for the full release.
Please note: These adjustments are NOT "nerfs" to improve performance. We did not lower your firepower or earning efficiency. By streamlining internal calculations and rendering, the game now runs smoothly even on standard laptops.
Here are the main adjustments made to the tools:
1. Arm: Optimized Visibility & "Pull" Effect
Adjustment: We reduced the visual frequency of overlapping shockwave effects when your attack speed increases.
Result: The actual attack speed and "black hole pull" effect still occur at ultra-high speeds based on your stats, but the screen is now much easier on the eyes and runs significantly lighter.
2. Shotgun: Smarter Calculations
Adjustment: We removed the collision calculations for massive amounts of bullets. Instead, damage is instantly distributed to enemies over a wide area the moment you fire.
Result: Hit counts and total damage (earnings) remain exactly the same, but with a clean, lag-free experience.
3. Laser: Reduced Load from Continuous Fire
Adjustment: Hit detection and effect generation during high-speed laser irradiation are now processed in batches internally.
Result: The speed at which you melt enemies (DPS) and your earnings haven't dropped at all, and the stuttering during continuous fire has been completely eliminated.
4. Tesla: Optimized Wide-Area Targeting
Adjustment: We vastly reduced unnecessary calculations by optimizing the wide-area targeting process when massive amounts of lightning strike.
Result: Breaking the limits of your attack speed and lightning count will no longer bottleneck your PC. Enjoy smooth, screen-wide lightning strikes!
5. Missile: Cleaner Trajectories & Better Visibility
Adjustment: Missiles now fly in from off-screen in simple trajectories and won't linger on screen if they miss. The "Cluster" split effect has been changed to consecutive carpet bombing at the impact site.
Result: Screen clutter and rendering loads are gone, leaving a more visually striking and satisfying explosion.
6. Attack Drone: Complete Restoration of Visual Effects
Adjustment: In a previous patch, we temporarily simplified the Drone's visual effects to maintain performance. Thanks to our overall system optimization, we have resolved the load issues entirely.
Result: The original, flashy, and exhilarating attack effects have been completely restored without sacrificing performance.
Summary
Thanks to the processing power saved by these optimizations, we have significantly increased the on-screen limit for "Coin" and "Damage Number" pop-ups in the full version.
The release is finally tomorrow! Please enjoy the smoother, more exhilarating destruction and inflation experience in the full version!
Thank you very much for playing the playtest (demo) and sending us so much feedback via the questionnaire and discussion boards. We are gratefully reviewing all the feedback and bug reports we receive.
Below is a summary of the main issues reported via the Google Form and our plans for addressing them. Please note that we are replying individually to the feedback posted on the discussion boards.
■ Bugs Currently Under Investigation / Being Fixed
Performance drops, stuttering, and crashes.
Bug where the SE (Sound Effect) volume setting does not function correctly.
Bug where the aiming cursor goes outside the screen boundaries.
Bug regarding reaching certain endings: Currently, reaching specific endings is an unintended bug. We sincerely apologize for this. We hope you can enjoy this as a limited "feature" during the playtest period (until June 30).
■ Features & UI Improvements Under Consideration
Adding settings to lower graphics quality or simplify bullet visuals (to prevent performance drops and motion sickness).
Remembering the selected sector, and implementing a sector selection feature during consecutive shifts.
Adding Japanese localization for certain English UI messages.
■ Regarding Current Specifications and Design (Responses)
Text display of Fragments: As this is related to the story progression, we cannot provide details, but the text display specifications will change as you progress through the full version of the game. We hope you look forward to the full release.
Shortcut key for "Return": To prevent unintended returns due to misclicks, the game is designed to show a confirmation screen when the ESC key is pressed. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your understanding.
■ Items Currently Under Detailed Investigation
Regarding the reacquisition of the Orbital Beam in the 2nd playthrough.
We will continue to investigate and make adjustments to ensure a more comfortable playing experience for the full release. We look forward to receiving more bug reports and feedback. Thank you for your continued support!
Sci-fi incremental meta-game DEBRISVERSE will launch on Steam on July 29, 2026. The game will be available for US$3.99, with a 10% launch discount for a limited time.
DEBRISVERSE begins as a sci-fi incremental game where players work for the space development corporation B.R.I.S., destroying space debris to repay a massive $100 million debt. By continuing their daily work, players can eventually repay the debt and reach the first ending. However, this is only the beginning. What awaits even the company's most loyal employees is not freedom, but a vast conspiracy hidden behind the corporation. As players begin operating outside the company's official procedures, a new layer of the game unfolds, leading them toward the truth behind the world they inhabit.
Reaching the truth requires more than simply progressing through the game. The key lies in actions beyond normal work procedures—following unexpected UI glitches to access hidden terminals, and interacting directly with the system through keyboard commands. These unconventional actions reshape the story, leading to seven distinct endings. Records hidden both inside and outside the game serve not only as gameplay clues, but also as fragments of this world's history. By piecing together these scattered records, players gradually uncover the corporation's hidden truth and the path to the True Ending.
Note: DEBRISVERSE includes visual effects and puzzles that make use of the Windows environment. On non-Windows platforms such as Steam Deck, some effects and puzzles may not function as intended.
The public playtest, which includes the first ending, will remain available until the end of June. Unlike the standard demo currently available on Steam, the playtest allows players to experience the game through its first ending before launch.
The following fixes and adjustments have been made in this update:
\
Added the "Emergency Alert Button": A button that summons (or might summon) the B.R.I.S. mothership. *Please note: This button will not function without a true emergency and proper authorization.
Enhanced Visual Effects: Added special presentation effects for the first playthrough on the Fragment screen.
\
Fixed specific behavioral issues under certain conditions.
\
Optimized Save Processing: Removed unnecessary folders (this will not affect your gameplay progress).
The following minor fixes and adjustments have been applied in this update:
Patch Notes
Fixed an issue where the coin sound effect continued to play after the result screen was displayed.
Adjusted game behavior under specific conditions.
Today, we have released a major update to the demo version in preparation for Steam Next Fest. Additionally, we are pleased to announce that a playtest allowing gameplay up to the completion of the first playthrough, as well as a campaign for streamers, are currently underway.

Target: Anyone can participate by requesting access to the Playtest directly from the Steam store page.
