Hey friends, how’s it going? I know I don’t post very often, but I also don’t want to clutter your feed with unnecessary updates.
Anyway, the great news is… we’ve crossed 7,000+ wishlists for our upcoming release 🍾 That’s a solid number in my opinion, especially considering this is my first project here.
I started Darker 2-3 years ago with absolutely no intention of ever releasing it on Steam. At the time, I just wanted to create some art. Slowly, with the support of this amazing community, we’ve come this far and that’s awesome. Cheers to that, and to many more successes ahead 🍻
On another note, I’ve also launched my official developer page on Steam. You can follow it to stay updated on my future projects after this one.
Thirdly, I’ve hired an adult voice actress for Grace. Now, there won’t be fully voiced dialogue just yet, but she’ll be voicing all the NSFW scenes for our female protagonist. I figured having consistent NSFW audio throughout the game would add a lot to player immersion. And who knows, if everything goes well maybe we’ll eventually move toward full voice acting for Grace.
Finally… JUST 9 MORE DAYS TO GO! 🎉 I’ve also moved the release slightly earlier. While it’ll still be the 25th where I’m from, Darker: Chapter 1 will officially launch on May 24 at 11:30 AM PDT, meaning western players will be able to access the game on the 24th itself.
And since launch is getting so close, promotions have already been underway. As part of that, I’m currently hosting giveaways on two subreddits for multiple Steam keys. If you’d like to try your luck, feel free to join 👇

The results will be announced tomorrow, so don’t miss your chance!
Howdy, people. How’s it going?
I know, I know… I should post more often here on Steam to let you all know I’m still alive 😅 But what can I say, game development is endless work, and it takes up almost all of my time. Still, I apologize for the extended silence.
Anyway, I’ve got some good news.
If you’ve been following this Steam page or my Discord for a while, you probably know the launch was delayed by several months due to longer development time. This was mainly because I reworked several early-game scenes and carried out a full overhaul of the project. The good news is, everything is now complete, and we’re back on track.
This overhaul includes:
Improvements to some messy parts of the storyline
A new in-game smartphone system with multiple apps
Enhanced music, ambience, and NSFW sound design
Additional scenes that expand the overall content
📅 Release Date: May 25
Darker: Chapter 1 is now scheduled for release.
The game is nearly finished, just a few final tweaks remain. Soon, I’ll start sending copies to curators and influencers for early reviews. We’re planning a month or two of marketing to ensure a strong launch.

That’s all for now. More exciting news coming soon. Thanks for your patience and support! 🖐️
Hey guys, how’s it been? First of all, I wish you all a very Happy New Year! I hope this year both you and I achieve our desired goals, or at least take a big step forward on that path.
Great news! I previously posted a poll on my Patreon page, and based on the results, I’ve now added five new languages, including fully translated UI. This means settings, menus, dialogues, narrations, everything is fully covered.
For now, this update is limited to the demo version. The three scenes included in the demo are now available in your native languages. You can find the language option in the game’s Settings section.
Russian
Simplified Chinese
Italian
French
Portuguese (Brazil)
(Hinglish didn’t make it this time because it’s quite challenging to translate, and I couldn’t find a native speaker to proofread it. I’ll add it later when I have more time.)
I was planning to add more languages, but I need to take a break from this and resume rendering. It’s already been a while since the last major update, so I need to shift my focus back to that.
Meanwhile, if you’re a native speaker of any of these five languages, I’d love for you to play the game in your language and share your feedback on the translation. Your input (positive or negative) is very important and will help determine the best approach for translating the full game.
That’s all for now. Back to work 🖐️
(These are raw preview renders. Post-work is still pending.)
Howdy friends! Hope you’re all doing great. It’s been a while since I posted the last update here on Steam.
Right now, a major remake of the initial parts of the game is underway to improve visual quality, add new content, and introduce important story changes before the final release.
Not everything will be remade — only the starting sections, since they were beyond repair 😂. I didn’t have any rendering experience when I originally created them. Once this remake is completed, I can start working on the final part of the game. With this, along with a few other changes and new language options, Chapter 1 will finally be complete, allowing me to release it here and move forward to the next chapter.
Thank you all for sticking with me. If you haven’t wishlisted the game yet, please do — it really helps with visibility, and you’ll get a notification when the game finally drops on Steam.
See you soon 🖐️
This is the very first community post for Darker, so thank you for checking out the game’s page. I’ll be using these updates to keep you all in the loop as development moves forward.
The most recent progress includes the release of Part 8 and Part 9, which continue to build on the story and expand the Darker world. Each new part adds more hot scenes to an already large library.
700+ high-quality renders (2k resolution)
15+ new animations (1000+ frames total)
3 major route choices, leading to 10+ different variations
A fully integrated audio experience, including music, sound effects, and NSFW audio
I’m really excited to share more with you as things develop. If Darker has caught your interest, don’t forget to Wishlist the game. It’s the best way to stay updated on future releases and launch news.
