Update Information
\ Zombie Scenario Special Balance Test Update Notice
Hello. This is Counter-Strike Nexon.
Today, we would like to explain the purpose of the Zombie Scenario Special Balance Test, which begins on June 10th, and outline the main changes.
Please refer to below for the more details regarding the update.
1. Focused operation of 3 test maps categorized by difficulty level
For this test, we have selected three distinct maps based on structure and characteristic factors such as stage length, monster composition, and the proportion of boss encounters.
We intentionally excluded maps that are frequently played, as they may be heavily influenced by existing play patterns, and we plan to assess how players adapt to different situations and gauge the perceived difficulty while playing each map.
2. Zombie Scenario Balance Adjustments
The core changes of the test are increased Attack/HP of monsters.
While the Human Team's combat power has steadily increased over time thanks to various weapon updates and the addition of Parts and Add-Ons, monster stats have remained largely unchanged for quite some time.
This test is an attempt to bridge that gap, and we'd like to see how the adjusted difficulty level creates a sense of tension for you, and what kind of enjoyment it brings to the gameplay experience.
3. Revival Item Cooldown Reduction
To alleviate the burden on players resulting from the increased difficulty and to ensure smooth testing, we have significantly reduced the cooldown time for revival items.
4. Test Exclusive Costume Reward Added
Special rewards will be provided to Survivors who participate in the test. Upon clearing each map, you can obtain new costume items inspired by the boss designs.

* Costumes have a certain chance of appearing in the reward boxes that drop when you defeat a boss.
5. Improvements in Claiming Rewards
To reduce instances where Survivors miss their rewards because it proceeds to the summary screen too quickly after clearing a level, we are implementing the following improvements.
Time before summary screen appears after defeating a boss increased from 5 seconds → 10 seconds.
If a box with the Exclusive Costume drops, it will be highlighted.
A feature will be added that automatically collects boxes dropped by zombies and bosses if they are not collected within a certain amount of time.
* Above changes are only applicable to the 3 test maps.

New ZHC Weapon Added
\ Star Chaser SR will be added to the ZHC mode.
Part Eligible Weapons Added
AN94 will now be able to have Parts equipped.
* The base damage value of weapons eligible for Part Open will depend on the level of the original weapon.
Buy Menu Search Feature
A search bar will be added that allows you to search weapons by names in the in-game buy menu.
How to Use:
Click the search bar at the top of the weapon selection screen or use the shortcut (Ctrl + F).
Search by weapon name, then select a weapon using the mouse or arrow keys.
Press Esc or click the X button in the upper-right corner to close the search bar.
AI Improvements
Zombie Mode bots will be updated to behave differently depending on the stage of the round. While the existing bots operated on a simple structure, this update will allow them to distinguish situations in greater detail and introduce new behavior patterns.
Applied Modes: Zombie Hero, Zombie Z
* This update focuses on diversifying the bots' behavior patterns. It is not intended to make the bots smarter or increase the difficulty level.
* Please note that the purpose of these ongoing maintenance updates is to provide a more natural and varied gameplay experience.

Random Weapon Zombie Hero Classic Event (6/10 - 7/8)

When you're on the Zombie Team, your zombie class will be selected by chance.
When you're on the Human Team, your primary weapon, secondary weapon, melee weapon, and grenade will be selected by chance.
Base game rules are the same as Zombie Hero Classic.
Available weapons are determined regardless of individual ownership.
Armor distribution is fixed.
When using a Supply Box (E key), instead of a shop window, you will select another random weapon.
