Version 1.0.5 is now live! This update focuses on refining overall game balance and the difficulty curve, making the early game more approachable for new players while ensuring that experienced commanders continue to face meaningful challenges in the later stages of the campaign.
Reworked the overall difficulty curve, making the early game more forgiving while slightly increasing challenge in the late game
Adjusted difficulty scaling based on Threat Level so that difficulty ramps up more gradually, reducing steep difficulty spikes
Adjusted Battle Flag behavior based on difficulty level, where on Difficulty Level 1 the Battle Flag always receives a fixed damage of 1, and on Difficulty Level 2 it receives only half of the normal damage
Slightly increased enemy Battle Flag health while reducing bonus Battle Flag health granted by boss nodes, preventing large difficulty jumps between encounters
Slightly increased overall gold rewards from battles and starting gold to provide more flexibility in progression
Adjusted item salvage rewards so that salvaging items now refunds 100% of their gold value instead of only half
Adjusted overall combat lighting by reducing overly vibrant lighting and visual intensity, better aligning battle scenes with the game’s dark fantasy atmosphere
Added the Rematch system, allowing players to retry a battle after defeat. The first rematch is free, while subsequent retries require Crowns, with costs increasing each time.
Reworked the Event Re-roll system: the first re-roll is free, while additional re-rolls require Crowns. The cost escalation follows the same rules as the Rematch system.
Added a dedicated icon for currency multipliers, clearly distinguished from the standard currency icon for improved readability.
Reorganized the Unit Codex into clearer categories, making it easier to browse and reference unit information.
While commanding a unit, the item inventory will now automatically close to reduce distractions and unnecessary UI elements, as items cannot be used during this state.
This update focuses on improving the game’s structure and pacing rather than introducing entirely new systems. Our aim is to deliver an experience that feels fairer, easier to understand, and more encouraging for players to experiment and refine their strategies.
Thank you for your continued support, Commanders. We look forward to hearing your feedback on Version 1.0.5! ❤️⚔️
Hi Commanders, 🫡
We’re rolling out Demo Update 1.0.4 for Conquest Tactics: Realm of Sin, focusing on quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and polish to make every run smoother, clearer, and more tactical.
This demo build tightens core systems like stuns, summons, and consumables, while also improving readability with better visuals and clearer tags.
To celebrate, we’ve updated the demo with the changes below.
New Game Speed Toggle so you can speed up the flow of battle.
Stronger and clearer VFX for all status effects.
New “On Battlefield” tag and corrected ability types for key units.
Smarter AI with more varied unit usage instead of repeating the same picks.
Summoned units on the battlefield now also gain +1 cost after being created, matching how other deployed units scale in cost.
Stun now lasts 3 turns and disables abilities for the duration, making it a more impactful form of crowd control.
Consumable items can now be used only on units already on the battlefield, reinforcing positioning and timing as key tactical decisions.
Consumable items are stronger overall, making them more rewarding to use and more central to your strategy.
Half-Beast units have been relocated to the Black Market, and some other units have been swapped around in the Tavern to refresh recruitment paths and synergies.
The AI now repeats the same unit less often and makes use of a broader pool of units, leading to more varied and interesting encounters.
Added an “On Battlefield” tag to clearly show which abilities only work when a unit is deployed versus those that are always active in hand and on the field.
Goblin King is now correctly categorized as an On Battlefield ability type, bringing him in line with his actual behavior.
Added a Game Speed Toggle button, letting you adjust how fast combat flows to your preference.
Added new VFX for all status effects, making it easier to understand what is happening at a glance.
Added upgraded frames to clearly indicate which units, items, and sins are upgraded versions.
Improved the Command Point display so that at the start of combat it no longer shows an inflated value; what you see is now what you actually have.
Hover tag tooltips now display correctly when you inspect units and effects.
Fixed multiple localization wording issues so text now reads more consistently and correctly.
Fixed a bug where the Codex would always reset, causing players to lose their viewed and unlocked state.
Fixed a bug where some tooltips would get stuck on screen after purchasing or re-rolling in the Shop and Recruit screens.

A fresh update is here for Conquest Tactics: Realm of Sin, bringing major improvements to combat flow, balance, and overall gameplay experience. Built in response to valuable player feedback, v0.9.9 continues to refine the tactical challenge and make every decision on the battlefield more impactful.
⚔️ Highlights of This Update: • Smaller Battlefield Size – Maps have been tightened up, leading to faster movement and more intense clashes. Attack zones around the Command Flag are now narrower, preventing overwhelming rushes from the AI. • Controlled Spawn Zones – All Locations now have defined spawn points (center, top-center, and bottom-center), eliminating unfair placements like the notorious Lighthouse issue. • Turn Order Adjustment – The second player no longer receives a +1 max Command Point at the start. This change helps balance early board control, giving the first player more breathing room while keeping the game competitive. • Worldmap Node Tweaks – Travel paths have been rebalanced for smoother exploration across all routes. • Enemy Squad Rebalance – AI squads with low-cost units have been toned down for a more manageable early challenge. • New Salvage System – Dismantle unused gear into gold and free up inventory space with this long-requested feature. • Black Market Overhaul – A risky new twist: trade your own Life Points for rare items. A dark bargain, but sometimes worth it. • UX/UI Improvements – Game interface has been polished, including a better inventory window and easier access to the deck and discard pile views. • Enhanced Tutorial Flow – The tutorial has been restructured for better clarity, now supported with animated visuals to guide new players more smoothly. • Improved Localization – Various descriptions and UI texts have been refined for better clarity and language support. • Bug Fixes Galore – Tons of issues crushed for a smoother and more stable experience.
