Hello Operators! Thank you all for the explosive release! The reception has been wonderful, and we're so happy to see how many of you are playing and out there curing those zombies! We have been amazed by the amount of you enjoying the game and the overall positive response so far, and we hear many of you loud and clear "more content please" - This is not the final state of the game, at all. This is just day one, bear with us, we're working on it. Everything has been pretty stable and solid initially, which is very nice to see and means we're able to cut right to making new content! To talk more about this, we've set up a short-term roadmap of things we plan on releasing this year, not in any particular order, so you all know what to look forward to, soon! Our short-term roadmap goals which will all be coming within the next couple of months is: - More weapons for each class + Sidearms - A new gamemode with 1/2 maps included - Another region for Bomb Extraction - Weapon Skins for each gun - Ping/Quick Chat System - More player customization options for Uniforms, Headware, Faceware, etc. - Miscellaneous QoL tweaks We will be pushing this content out as soon as possible, some features sooner than others, and although certain things will be DLC based, the majority will remain free and part of the base game! We're excited for you all to come along for the ride and keep curing the infected with us as we add more! If you have any ideas for feedback or suggestions, we're most active on Discord: https://discord.gg/Mx68kDa6Uy
The day has come! After lots of hard work and communication with you, our community, the game has launched, and is available for all of you to play! It's been a wonderful experience working together with all of you to shape up release to be as good as it can be, and we hope you all enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it! We plan on adding all sorts of new content over time during it's lifespan, and we're excited to share these plans with you!
Battle your way through 3 procedurally generated regions! The United States has been taken over by a vicious zombie infection, and you must cure them all in a wide variety of environments, ranging from sprawling midwestern streets, winding sewer tunnels, lush forests, secret underground military bases, and more! Customize your weapons and gear, both for yourself and your AI Teammates! Gain access to an ever growing arsenal of weapons, weapon attachments, uniforms, helmets, gloves, and more, to fully decorate your operators. Our highly advanced Bots will always wear whatever you equip on them, allowing you to fully personalize not just your own Operator, but your entire Squad. Cure multiple enemy types, who won't stop until you're dead! Launching with 4 distinct enemy types, be prepared for a variety of encounters that you and your team will have to power through. Keep your eyes out for the Disciple especially - Intel suggests they're the ones spreading the Infection, and they aren't going down without a fight. Want to support us? As promised, the game is free. We plan on releasing DLC as well as free content over time, with the intent of being as consumer-friendly as possible. If you want a DLC to sink your teeth into, which comes with a decent chunk of optional content, our Specialist DLC Pack is available, featuring some heavy-duty cosmetics, ACOG and HOLO sights, and the iconic Spas 12. While it's typically listed at $9.99, we'll be doing a launch sale for -20% off for a few weeks to celebrate launch day! Consider leaving us a review We absolutely love the game, and we spend a bunch of time playing it ourselves in our free time. Thank you for sticking with us! If you enjoy it and had fun either solo or with friends, we would greatly appreciate it if you left a review for us on Steam! Reviews go a long way on Steam and help other players discover the game. And, lastly, if you're interested in communicating with us and being part of the Community, check out our Discord here: https://discord.gg/Mx68kDa6Uy Happy hunting, Operators! Welcome back, Operators! Things have been quiet for the past few months. But we can assure you, it's been for a very, very good reason. Multiple very good reasons, actually. There's a lot to cover, here, but, first thing's first: WE HAVE A PUBLISHER! We've been granted an extraordinary opportunity to partner with Indie.io, an Indie Gaming Publisher who will be helping us greatly with marketing, outreach, and various other aspects. Things have been quiet for the past few months as we all work to adjust to this new partnership, but things are now in motion, and their partnership has helped us greatly in helping with getting the game out the door. Working with our Publisher has also granted us another opportunity for all of you; we are slated for a release early this year, but we also know many of you have been itching to get your hands on the game ASAP. So with the help and advice of our Publishers, starting today, a new Demo will be made available for you all to play!
Clear out Hordes with friends, or with bots! The demo will include full Matchmaking support, allowing you to play with friends or join other players online in public matchmaking. The game also fully supports our highly advanced Bot mechanics, meaning you can have plenty of fun in Singleplayer or in a less-than-full lobby, too! Collect Scrap and level up in preparation for full release! Scrap is the main currency players will use to purchase and upgrade new equipment, weapons, cosmetics, and more. While the demo will be limited in this regard, scrap collection and player levelling is enabled in the Demo, and any progress you make in the demo, will carry over once full release comes! Playing the demo will be the perfect opportunity to get a head start! Gear up and do leisurely activities, as well as training, at CURE HQ! Explore The Headquarters of CURE, overseen by General Johnson. Pick your class, spend time at the shooting range, and enjoy these moments of calm before the raging storm of the quarantine zones once you embark on a mission! Also, enjoy our new Training Course; a mandatory mission for each new recruit! In terms of playable content, the Demo will include one Procedurally Generated Mission, a tutorial, CURE HQ, Multiplayer and Solo Lobby support, full Bot support, the default weapons for each Class, and the default uniforms for each Class. The demo also will only include common zombies, and soldier zombies. The full game will have a whole lot more; enjoy this early sneak peek as we work towards full release! Join in on the fun! Don't forget to Wishlist Codename CURE II on Steam, and join our Discord if you want to keep in contact with us, talk with the community, and get the latest news on Development! And, if you'd like to do a little more, support us on Patreon for access to Behind The Scenes goodies and VIP channels on the Discord! (We also post plenty of free content on the Patreon if you just want to keep up to date with news on there, as well!) Until next time, Operators!
