Hello, Chefs 🍳🌊
Today, Coastal Kitchen Simulator is officially leaving Early Access. When we first launched, we mentioned that Early Access would run for around 3–6 months, and this month marks about six months of development. First, we want to say thank you to everyone who has supported the game with active feedback, bug reports, and other involvement. Your input has played a major role in shaping Coastal Kitchen Simulator into the game it is today.
Leaving Early Access does not mean development is finished. We will continue to listen to your feedback and work on improvements and new content so the restaurant can keep growing together with the community. To celebrate this milestone, Coastal Kitchen Simulator is also joining the Steam Winter Sale with a special discount. If you have been waiting to jump in or invite a friend, this is a great moment to do so.
This update also brings one of the most requested improvements: a new Cold Storage Room expansion, along with new Steam achievements, and also we create a Special Thanks credits for Early Access supporters, and several quality-of-life improvements.
Here is what is included in this update:
After you purchase the second floor expansion and reach level 25, you can unlock a new Cold Storage Room expansion. You can access it through the door on the first-floor kitchen near the refrigerator. Once unlocked, this new Cold Storage Room expands your ingredient storage area and gives you more space to organize stock for busy services.
New Steam achievements have been added for you to complete. These give you more long-term goals to work toward as you grow your restaurant and master the kitchen flow.
A new Credits page has been added to the main menu to highlight everyone who supported the game during Early Access. This includes players who shared active feedback, reported bugs, and helped spread the word about Coastal Kitchen Simulator. We apologize if any names are missing. If you were an Early Access supporter and do not see your username in the credits, you can contact us at contact\bewolba\com and we will review it for a future update.
Employee movement has been adjusted to better match their job roles. Only Servers can freely move up to the second floor, while other roles such as Cook and Prep Cook will now work only on the first floor. This helps keep each role focused and reduces awkward pathing.
Dirty tables are now easier to notice. A spatial icon will appear to show that a table is dirty and needs to be cleaned before the next customer is willing to sit there. This makes it clearer when you need to send someone to clean the table.
We have fixed an issue where items could be placed to serving tray by an unrealistically long distance. Interactions should now feel more natural and grounded within the restaurant space.
We have fixed an issue where notification about "preserving item for next day" appears when putting item from refrigerator to table. It should be only appears when putting item to refrigerator.
The Bug Report option can now be accessed directly from the main menu. This makes it easier for you to share issues you encounter without needing to be in a specific in-game state.
New background music (BGM) has been added to the game. The new tracks will alternate with the existing BGM so the restaurant atmosphere feels more varied during longer play sessions.
Thank you once again for supporting Coastal Kitchen Simulator through Early Access. Your feedback, bug reports, and ideas have been a big part of shaping the game into what it is today.
Even though the game is now leaving Early Access, we will continue improving it and exploring new ways to make the cooking and serving experience more enjoyable. If you enjoy this update, we would greatly appreciate a review on Steam. It helps more players discover the game and supports future improvements.
Enjoy the Steam Winter Sale discount, and see you in the next update! 👋🍤✨
Hello, Chefs 🍳🌊
We have released a new update for Coastal Kitchen Simulator. This version focuses on making it easier to clean up unused ingredients and giving you more control over what your employees do during service. These changes are aimed at making the kitchen feel more efficient and responsive to your decisions.
Here’s what’s new in this update:
Trashable Containers
Sometimes you end up with extra ingredients that you no longer need. In this update, ingredients stored inside a container can now be thrown away directly by interacting with the trash bin. This makes it easier to clear out leftovers, free up space, and keep your kitchen tidy without having to move each ingredient one by one.
Employee Task Override
We have added a new system that allows you to interrupt and take over certain tasks that employees are about to perform, helping you manage your employees’ work more efficiently.
For example, you can pick up a serving tray and deliver food directly if the server is still far away, or grab an ingredient box that an employee was going to take so they will switch to another box instead. This gives you more flexibility to prioritize actions and keep the kitchen running smoothly, especially during busy moments.
Thank you for continuing to support Coastal Kitchen Simulator. Your feedback helps us refine the cooking and serving experience with every update.
If you enjoy this update, we would greatly appreciate a review. It helps more players discover the game and supports future improvements.
See you in the next update! 👋🍤✨
Hello, Chefs 🍳🌊
We have released a new update for Coastal Kitchen Simulator. This version focuses on making order flow faster and smoothing several interactions in the kitchen, based on your feedback. Thank you for continuing to share your experiences with us. Every report helps us refine the game for everyone.
Here’s what’s new in this update:
We have updated how the preparing state works after you serve an order. Once a ready serving tray is lifted from the kitchen table, the next order can immediately move into the preparing state. This means you no longer need to wait for the server or you to deliver the tray to customer before starting the next order. The goal is to reduce downtime between orders so your kitchen can keep moving smoothly during busy service.
Employee Cutting After Boiling Crab and Lobster
We have fixed an issue where employees did not help with cutting after Crab and Lobster were boiled. Your staff should now correctly assist with the cutting step once the boiling process is complete.
Ingredient Containers Staying in Place
There was a problem where some ingredient containers could bounce or be pushed up to the second floor. This has been corrected so containers stay where they belong in the kitchen.
Clearer Kitchen Monitor Status
The kitchen monitor now has clearer status colors for each order. Orders that are still being prepared are shown in blue, and orders that are ready to be served are shown in green. This should make it easier to see the state of each order at a glance.
Improved Item Pickup, Especially Plates
We have addressed an issue where players suddenly had difficulty picking up certain items, especially plates. Item interaction should now feel more reliable, making it easier to grab what you need when service gets hectic.
Customer Table Interaction Update
Interacting with customer tables has been updated so you can now confirm serving with either left click or right click. Previously, many players often miss clicked between left and right click when serving food, so this change is meant to make table service more comfortable and forgiving.
Dish Washer Animation Fix
We have fixed a problem where washing in the dish washer did not show the loading animation or flowing water. The washing process should now display correctly, making it clear when dishes are being cleaned.
Thank you for continuing to support Coastal Kitchen Simulator. Your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps us build a more enjoyable cooking and serving experience with each update.
If you enjoy this update, we would greatly appreciate a review. It helps more players discover the game and supports future improvements.
See you in the next update! 👋🍤✨
Hello, Chefs 🍳🌊
We have just released a new update for Coastal Kitchen Simulator. This version adds more menu variety for your customers, expands your cooking options, and includes several important improvements based on your feedback. Thank you for continuing to share your thoughts with us. Every report and suggestion helps us fine-tune the experience for everyone.
Here’s what’s new in this update:
Two New Main Dishes with Octopus
You can now serve two new main dishes featuring fresh octopus. These dishes add more variety to your seafood selection and offer new flavor combinations for customers who enjoy ocean ingredients.
Three New Desserts
We have added three delicious new desserts to your menu, providing customers with additional options to satisfy their sweet cravings after the main course. These three new desserts can be purchased and will be ordered by customer once you reach a certain level, offering more ways to enhance your restaurant's reputation.
Three New Beverages
To complement your meals, three refreshing new beverages have been added to the menu. These drinks provide more options for your customers and help enhance their dining experience. Like the desserts, these three new beverages can be ordered by customer and purchased once you reach a certain level, offering more ways to keep your customers satisfied and engaged.
Alongside the new menu items, we have worked on stability and quality of life improvements throughout the kitchen.
Improved Load and Save Flow
The New Game button has been removed from the Load Game screen to prevent confusion. Saving to a slot can only be done through the Pause Menu, and automatic saves will always use the Autosave slot by default.
Fixed FPS Spikes During Orders
Some players experienced FPS drops when receiving or processing orders. We have optimized this section of the workflow so order handling is now smoother and more consistent.
Improved Serving Tray Interaction
Picking up a serving tray that lands on a customer’s table was sometimes difficult. We have improved the interaction detection so trays can now be retrieved without trouble.
Thank you for continuing to support Coastal Kitchen Simulator. Your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps us build a more enjoyable cooking experience with each update.
If you enjoy this update, we would greatly appreciate a review. It helps us grow and shape future updates.
See you in the next update! 👋🍤✨
Hello, Chefs 🍳🌊
We have just released a new update for Coastal Kitchen Simulator. This version focuses on expanding your kitchen team, improving food preparation flow, and fixing several issues that were affecting consistency during service. Thank you for all the feedback you continue to share. It helps us refine every part of the experience.
Here’s what’s new in this update:
A brand new employee type, the Cook, is now available to help you process raw ingredients more efficiently. Cooks will automatically handle cooking tasks based on the setup you place on the container tray.
Here is how they work:
🍳 They cook ingredients according to the settings on the container tray and use the utensils you have prepared as the target.
🦀 They automatically boil ingredients whenever crab, lobster or broth is detected.
🥕 They check for any ingredient that is still raw on the container tray and continue processing it.
📦 After finishing their task, Cooks return the container tray to its original position to keep your kitchen tidy.
This addition helps your kitchen run more smoothly by reducing bottlenecks and keeping raw ingredients moving through the workflow.
Prep Cooks can now cut boiled ingredients. This allows them to complete more steps of the preparation process and maintain a better workflow when handling boiled items.
🛠 Fixed an issue where items could suddenly appear in an employee’s hand without proper interaction.
❄ Ingredients stored inside a Box will no longer disappear when the Box is placed inside the refrigerator.
Thank you for continuing to support Coastal Kitchen Simulator. Your feedback helps us improve the game and create a smoother cooking experience for everyone.
If you enjoy this update, we would greatly appreciate a review. It helps us grow and shape future updates.
See you in the next update! 👋🍤✨

Hello, Chefs! 🧑🏻🍳🦞
Thanks again for all your support and feedback during Early Access! We've been listening closely and working on small but meaningful improvements to enhance your restaurant management experience.
Here are some of the key points we heard from you:
More space is needed to grow the restaurant and serve a larger number of customers.
Prep cooks sometimes keep working past their scheduled hours, so there should be a clearer way to set their shift limits.
Sometimes, players just want to run the kitchen themselves without being interrupted or slowed down by staff behavior.
Based on that, we’ve added new features and refinements that give you more flexibility, control, and breathing room as your seaside kitchen continues to grow.
You can now expand your restaurant to accommodate more guests and grow your business. This expansion includes a larger kitchen, cold storage, staff room, and additional dining areas on both the first floor and the newly accessible second floor. Click the door next to the restroom to unlock the expansion once you reach level 20 and have at least $40,000 in funds.
You can now set specific working hours for your prep cooks. This gives you greater control over your kitchen operations, allowing you to decide when they should stop prepping ingredients for the day.
Managing employees just got easier. You can right-click any employee to send them on a break, then they’ll head to the area behind the cashier to rest. When you're ready to have them back, just right-click again to bring them back to work.
We hope these changes help make managing your kitchen smoother and more fun. As part of our commitment during Early Access, we always open to all feedbacks to make this game as mature as possible. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions, don’t hesitate to share them in the Discussions section. 😃
And, if you’re enjoying the game, we’d love to hear your thoughts in a Steam review! It really helps us grow and improve the experience for all.
Thank you for being part of the community.
Cheers! 🧑🏻🍳
Hello, Chefs! 🧑🏻🍳🦞
We’re back with a fresh update that gives you more control over how you run your seaside restaurant in Coastal Kitchen Simulator. Thanks to your continued feedback, we’ve rolled out several updates aimed at improving your overall experience and making restaurant management feel smoother and more enjoyable.
Let’s dive into what’s new in this update:
We’ve added new status texts to help you better understand what your employees are doing, like “otw taking food”, “otw taking dirty plates”, "cleaning dirty plates", "resting", etc. This employee status helps you manage the kitchen more efficiently without second-guessing their behavior.
We’ve also improved their cleaning tasks, as employees can now wash scattered tray piles to keep the kitchen area tidier and running more smoothly.
You can now activate kitchen utensils more intuitively by clicking directly on them. We've also refined the warning messages to make it clearer when a utensil needs to be activated, helping you avoid unnecessary confusion.
Fixed issue where multiple employees couldn’t take orders at the same time.
Fixed “idle” status showing incorrectly during employee rest and shortened the rest duration.
Fixed employees getting stuck inside customer tables or when trying to clean already-empty tables.
As part of our commitment during Early Access, we always open to all feedback and suggestions to make this game as mature as possible. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions, don’t hesitate to share your thoughts. 🦐🥘
And, if you’re enjoying the game, we’d love to hear your thoughts in a Steam review! It really helps us grow and improve the experience for all.

Hello, Chefs! 🧑🏻🍳🦞
It’s been a month since Coastal Kitchen Simulator launched in Early Access, and we’re committed to making it better with every update. Today’s patch reflects that mission, bringing meaningful features and improvements inspired by your feedback while staying true to our vision of a cozy yet challenging kitchen management experience 😀
Let’s dive into what’s new in this update:
Your customers now want more than just food. They expect drinks too! Each order will now include a beverage, adding an extra layer of challenge to your workflow. To make this easier, we’ve added a Beverages Menu on your in-game PC so you can manage drink options with ease and keep every customer satisfied.
Tracking your purchases just got easier. A new item counter is now displayed in your cart for both Ingredients and Beverages menus. This is an early version of the feature and will be further refined in upcoming updates.
We’ve resolved an issue where the game would always open in fullscreen mode. Now your chosen display settings, including windowed or fullscreen, will be remembered every time you play.

Hi, chefs! 🧑🏻🍳🦞
We’re back with a fresh update that gives you more control over how you run your seaside restaurant in Coastal Kitchen Simulator. Thanks to your ongoing feedback, we’ve introduced the Playstyle Setup feature, allowing you to fine-tune key aspects of gameplay to suit your pace and preferences.
You can now adjust:
Day Speed – Set how quickly time progresses during the day.
Auto-Prep Limit – Controls how many containers of each ingredient your prep cook will prepare.
Customer Order Wait Time – Decide how patient your customers will be when waiting for food.
This new system lets you shape your experience into something more relaxing or more challenging, depending on your preferred kitchen rhythm. Whether you're in it for chill cooking sessions or high-pressure multitasking, the game now adapts better to your playstyle.
We’ll continue updating Coastal Kitchen Simulator regularly to deliver a smoother and more enjoyable gameplay experience.
As always, if you enjoy the game we’d be grateful if you leaving a review, and don’t hesitate to leave your thoughts or suggestions in the Discussions section. 😃

Hello Chefs!
We’re back with some updates to improve your kitchen management experience. Here’s what’s new:
You can now take a proper break whenever you open the pause menu. The game will fully pause, stopping all in-game movement and activities until you choose to resume. It’s a simple yet essential feature to help you take your time when needed.
We’ve made pricing your dishes more informative. When adjusting a dish item’s price from PC or from the banner, you’ll now see a maximum price cap, preventing unrealistic pricing and helping you maintain a balanced and fair restaurant economy.
Thank you for all the valuable feedback you've given us so far. It truly helps shape the future of Coastal Kitchen Simulator. We're looking forward to hearing even more from you in upcoming updates. If you’re enjoying the game, we’d really appreciate it if you could leave a review. It means a lot and helps us grow!
Hey, Chefs! 👨🍳
We’ve rolled out some updates for Coastal Kitchen Simulator to keep the experience smoother and more rewarding.
👨🍳 Active Menu without Limit
Starting now, the number of active menus is no longer limited to just 2, it's unlimited. You can choose any unlocked recipe to be an active menu item. However, be cautious when activating menus, as having more active menus will make your kitchen tasks increasingly complex. ːsteamhappyː
🏆 Steam Achievements Added
We’ve introduced a batch of achievements to recognize your kitchen milestones! Whether it’s your first dish served or a high-efficiency day, there’s more reason to celebrate your progress.
🍳 Prep Cook Improvement Prep Cooks will now limit their prep work to a maximum of 3 ingredient containers. This helps reduce clutter and overproduction, making your kitchen operations more efficient and storage more manageable.

The kitchen is officially open! Coastal Kitchen Simulator has launched in Early Access, and we’re thrilled to welcome you into the chaos and charm of running your very own seaside restaurant. 🍽️🌊
To mark this exciting milestone, we’ve rolled out a batch of updates to improve your gameplay experience, expand your kitchen’s capabilities, and polish the overall flow. Here's what’s cooking in this latest version:
More Items in Hand
You can now carry up to 5 items at once, giving you more flexibility in how you prep, serve, and move around the kitchen. It’s a small change that makes a big difference in speed and multitasking.
Cold Storage Shelving
We’ve added a new rack system in the Cold Storage Room that functions like the refrigerator. You can now neatly store ingredient containers on these racks for better organization and easier access.
Popularity Boost
Running a clean and efficient kitchen now rewards you even more. Popularity now increases by +2%, helping you grow your reputation faster and unlock more gameplay opportunities.
Notes Hidden on Container
Container notes have been temporarily hidden to keep the workspace clean and avoid unnecessary visual clutter. This change helps you stay focused on what matters during peak hours.
Updated Staff Titles
We’ve made two important naming adjustments for clarity. These titles better reflect their roles in a professional kitchen environment.
“Cook” is now called Prep Cook
“Server” is now called Server Assistant
Your AI kitchen helper is smarter and more efficient than ever:
Ingredient Prep: Now assists with cutting ingredients (excluding crab and lobster).
Box-to-Box Scanning: If a container isn’t full, the Prep Cook will check the next available box.
Resource Awareness: They’ll prioritize ingredients that are currently running low, helping you maintain better stock balance.
The front-of-house support has received meaningful improvements too:
Cleaning Duties: Cleans tables and washes dishes, and also gains experience over time.
Order Management: Takes customer orders and resets their waiting time when the order is accepted.
Delivery Speed Boost: Moves faster when delivering food (if enabled).
(Optional fallback) If speed boost fails, the assistant will skip food delivery to maintain service flow.
This update is just the beginning of what we have planned for Early Access. We’re incredibly thankful for your support and can’t wait to continue building this culinary experience with you.
We always open to all feedback and suggestions to make this game as mature as possible. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions, don’t hesitate to share your thoughts.
Thank you for being part of the community.
Cheers! 🦞🦐🐟
