🌍 Hey Cleaners from the World! Tonight at 18:30 CET, Magic Pockets is adding €1,000 to the in-game donation pool in the Clean Up Earth demo, dedicated to Wings of the Ocean.
Wings of the Ocean is a collective ocean conservation adventure fighting against litter, especially plastic waste. It offers a unique model for welcoming volunteers on land and sea missions, works to preserve marine biodiversity, and raises awareness of the challenges of plastic pollution in the ocean. From 18:30 CET onward, every piece of trash cleaned in multiplayer on the Nevada Desert map will increase a live donation counter on the top right corner of the screen.
💚 When the counter reaches €1,000, the full amount will be donated to Wings of the Ocean.
⏳ The operation ends when the €1,000 goal is reached or tomorrow at 12:00 CET, whichever comes first. 🧪 This is also a full-scale live test of Clean Up Earth’s real-world impact system.

The Clean Up Earth Team
Hi Cleaners from the World! The Kickstarter campaign for Clean Up Earth ends in just 2 days. The game is funded, thank you all 💚 But we’re now pushing for our next stretch goal: 🌿 A Brand-New Asian-Inspired
Our incredibly talented environment artist, Raccoon, has poured her heart into this new world.Japan was a natural inspiration, not only because it’s a place she deeply loves (and plans to revisit soon), but because several members of the team have shared memories and references from their own trips there. It’s a collective inspiration.Raccoon focused on capturing the beauty of endemic vegetation: bamboo forests, towering trees, soft moss-covered landscapes, recreating their atmosphere with care and respect.Visually, she also drew inspiration from the soft, gentle rendering styles of games like Genshin Impact and Palia, as well as the poetic worlds of Hayao Miyazaki. The team would also love to introduce new wildlife to this biome, including koi fish and delicate insect species to bring the ecosystem fully to life. This biome will only become a reality if we reach the stretch goal before the campaign ends. ⏳ 2 days left and 🌏 one more world to unlock. If you’ve been considering backing, now is the moment. Every pledge and every share brings us closer. 👉 Back Clean Up Earth NowLet’s build this new world together. 💚 Thank you for being part of the journey with us! The Magic Pockets Team

In Clean Up Earth, cleaning a map is more than just gameplay — it’s a reminder that real people are out there, every day, working to protect our planet.Through an integrated environmental fund, first tested during Jingle Jam 2025, the game is designed to support organizations and initiatives that take concrete action on the ground. While playing solo or in co-op, cleaning waste strengthens support for the initiative you’ve chosen.
During large online community sessions, players collaborate to restore massive shared maps. Every pile of trash collected contributes to a growing donation counter.
At the end of each session, a real micro-donation is triggered to one of the partner organizations.
Over time, as players support different causes, all partner organizations have the opportunity to benefit.Over time, different organizations have the opportunity to benefit — because real change, like the game itself, is built together. We’re proud to collaborate with inspiring partners such as:🌊 Expedition MED — https://expedition-med.org🌍 World Cleanup Day — https://www.worldcleanupday.org🚲 Recyclop — https://recyclop.fr/🌱 Plastic Pickup — https://www.plastic-pickup.fr/⛵ Wings of the Ocean — https://www.wingsoftheocean.com/These teams organize cleanups, raise awareness, mobilize volunteers, and protect ecosystems across the world.💚 No additional financial contribution is ever required from players. Your impact comes entirely from playing the game.Because sometimes, helping the planet can start with something simple: playing together. Back the project now on KickstarterDear Cleaners from the World,
Today, we’re excited to reveal the Founder Exclusive Outfit for Clean Up Earth.
Exclusively reserved for backers of the Earthkeeper, Cleanup Crew, Legacy, Eco-Designer and Immortal editions, this outfit takes the Eco-Engineer design even further than the Backer version.
Our talented character artist Capybara — working closely with the team — wanted to push the concept toward something more distinctive and expressive. The Founder outfit features a more open silhouette, stronger visible implants, and a bold cybernetic neck implant that will be fully animated in-game.
The jacket rests on the shoulders, creating natural movement as you walk and operate the Terra Cleaner — adding fluidity and presence to the character. The goal was to achieve a balance between elegance and relaxed confidence: futuristic, refined, yet effortlessly cool.
As Eco-Engineers travel back in time to restore polluted eras of Terra, this Founder outfit represents a higher rank — a more advanced iteration of the future’s planetary guardians.
You may also notice subtle influences from classic Japanese sci-fi manga and anime aesthetics — a tribute to futuristic heroes who blend precision, technology and style.
💚 This outfit is exclusive to Founder-tier backers and will not be available after the campaign.
To those of you who pledged already: we thank you again! To those who did not yet: Back the game now!
Feel free to share with your friends and community! And share your comments below! Thanks for your amazing support! The Magic Pockets team
Today, we’re proud to unveil the Backer Exclusive Eco-Engineer Outfit for Clean Up Earth.
Designed by our incredibly talented artist Capybara — with input and iteration from the whole team — this outfit reimagines the time-traveling Eco-Engineer in a more refined, distinctive style.
In Clean Up Earth, Eco-Engineers come from the future to restore polluted eras of the past. For our backers and founders, we wanted something truly unique — a design that stands apart from the standard in-game outfits and feels like a symbol of early support.
Capybara explored a more elegant direction, blending futuristic tailoring with subtle enhancements — including visible cybernetics you can clearly see on your hands when operating the Terra Cleaner. A reminder that you can help restore the planet… while doing it with style.
💚 This outfit is exclusive to Kickstarter backers starting with the Restorer and above Editions and will not be available after the campaign.
And we’re not done yet…
👀 Next reveal: the Founder Exclusive Outfit, reserved for Earthkeeper, Cleanup Crew, Legacy, Eco Designer and Immortal editions.
We’re excited to share that Clean Up Earth is now 60% funded on Kickstarter 🌱
This milestone wouldn’t be possible without your support — whether you’ve backed the campaign, wishlisted the game, or shared it with friends.
The campaign is still live, and we’re entering a crucial phase. Every pledge and every share helps us move closer to fully funding the project and expanding the scope of the game.
If you’d like to support the campaign: ⭐ Back the project on Kickstarter 🎮 Try the demo 🤝 Invite friends to join the co-op experience
Thank you for being part of this journey — we’re building this world together.
We approach this project with clarity and humility.
We know that meaningful environmental change goes far beyond any single initiative — especially a video game.
Reducing waste at the source matters more than cleaning it afterward, and even creating a game has a footprint.
That’s why we focus on what we can do responsibly.
We work frugally, minimize our carbon impact, and make deliberate technical and production choices.
No grand promises, no greenwashing: just consistent effort within clear limits. This project doesn’t claim to solve everything. It’s about shifting imaginaries, lowering the barrier to engagement, and showing that small, shared actions can feel meaningful.
It may be a modest step. But it’s a step forward and one we’re proud to take. 💪 Wishlist, play the demo and back our project on Kickstarter!
🚀 Our campaign is now open to help us add more content, features, and real-world impact to the game.
