Runlist

The long-awaited ranked online mode, Runlist, is now live!

Challenge other players in the new competitive multiplayer mode with real-time ranked matchmaking. Up to eight players can participate in a single match.

Go to the Runlist lobby

Open Runlist in the game menu to enter the lobby, select an available configuration, and start searching for a match.

Select a race configuration

Before starting matchmaking, choose one of the five available configurations. They differ in their combination of tracks, locations, and available car classes.

Runlist offers a variety of competitions—from street races through Sunset City to races on the Sunset Speedway track.

Find opponents

After selecting a configuration, start matchmaking. The system will match you with other players and create a lobby. Up to eight racers can participate in a match.

Compete against other players

A Runlist match consists of a series of consecutive races. Adapt to different tracks, fight for the lead, and prove that you can consistently outpace your rivals.

Earn rewards and climb the ranks

Win races, earn parts packs, increase your rating, rise through the ranks, and prove that you’re the one worthy of the title of Sunset City’s greatest racer!

Event Rules

• The streamer uses a C5-class car
• Hunters can only use stock C3-class cars
• Tuning, upgrades, and cars above C3 class are not allowed for hunters
• A touch counts as clear contact with the streamer’s car: bumper contact, side contact, or a light ram
• After each counted touch, the streamer gets a 15-second head start

About Graphics Settings and DirectX 12

In update 1.13.5, we added support for DirectX 12. This feature is currently experimental, so your feedback is especially important to us. Please let us know how the game runs on your device, whether you notice any performance improvements, whether the game has become more stable, or if you encounter any new issues. We have also significantly reworked the graphics and added expanded visual quality settings. You can now adjust the following options separately:

• draw distance;

• texture quality;

• reflection quality.

Many of you have been asking for a separate draw distance setting, so we listened to your feedback and added this option.

Please note that the current graphics on medium settings now look noticeably better than the graphics on maximum settings in the previous version. This is especially true for draw distance. Because of this, you may experience lower performance on higher settings: the game now displays more detail, and the overall image quality has been improved. To increase FPS and bring the graphics closer to the previous version, try lowering a setting such as draw distance.

• Draw Distance: Very Low ≈ Maximum in version 1.13.0.

Car Physics

• Racing and Racing+ tire physics settings updated — the new parameters make car behavior more predictable during corner entry, braking, and sudden weight transfer between axles. In addition, the new settings significantly reduce the tendency of cars to understeer.
• Aerodynamics settings for most cars reworked — more cars will now be competitive in Time Attack mode, reducing the gap between different models in the car fleet.
• Body swap weight adjusted — the updated settings will further reduce the gap between cars in the game roster.
• Car center of mass parameters updated — the new settings reduce the tendency of cars to roll over and excessive body roll in corners, allowing more effective high-speed cornering and better acceleration out of corners after reaching the apex.
• Car body inertia parameters reworked — the new settings reduce nervous behavior in high-speed corners, improve the sense of car weight, and make suspension behavior more predictable in fast corner sequences.
• Brake force settings refined — braking performance has become more stable and predictable.

Driving Assist

Driving assist algorithms reworked. The update allows more aggressive corner attacks without excessive intervention from the assist system.

Game Physics

Reworked collision system between the player's car, environmental objects, and other players' cars added. New system results in:

• reduced car pushback during tandem drift contact;

• reduced impact of collisions with roadside objects;

• reduced risk of cars getting stuck on curbs and roadsides in the city's mountain areas.

Game Engine

Game engine version updated. Overall graphics quality improved: Visual systems of the game refined.

Graphics Settings

Graphics quality settings added. You can now separately adjust the following parameters:

• draw distance;

• texture quality;

• reflection quality.

General Improvements

• Opponent selection in Time Attack races added.

• Game loading time reduced.

• Gear shifting speed slightly increased while using Prototype-class clutch.

Fixes

• Issue with transmission noise from other players' cars being played in first-person view fixed.

• Gear shift sound volume adjusted.

• Various issues on the "Wangan" location fixed.

How to install PTR 1.13.5:

• Open the launcher and go to the "Beta Versions" section.

• Select "Public_test - PTR".

• Wait for the download to complete.

• Launch the game and test the new features.

Note: - Currently, the PTR version is available on devices running the Windows OS - Progress made in PTR will not transfer to the live version of the game.

CarX Street Developer Livestream — Today at 15:30 UTC

Hello, everyone! Today we’re hosting a CarX Street developer livestream. The stream starts at 18:30 MSK.

Stream Program

As part of the livestream, we will hold a drift event with subscribers on a section selected by the community. For those joining this format for the first time, here is how the event will work:

• Before the stream begins, please review the config prepared by the CarX Street community.

• At the beginning of the livestream, we will share the room code where the developers will be present as judges.

• Participants will take turns driving through the selected section while following the rules and route specified in the config.

• The judges will evaluate each run and assign points to every participant.

• At the end of the stream, we will summarize the results and select the winners, who will receive exclusive rewards.

Update 1.11.0

This version brings Pursuit Mode improvements, new content, a range of gameplay upgrades, and many bug fixes.

Servers and Connection

In this update, we are adding servers in the Oceania region and significantly improving overall connection quality. This includes optimized connectivity to online rooms and fixes for common issues related to high ping.

League Progression Guide

Here is the updated overview of the ranking system and how league progression works. To qualify and move up the ladder, your goal is to achieve the highest possible positions in Time Attack races. The rating system continuously analyzes your average positions to determine your current skill level.

League Tiers & Requirements

Your league is determined by the average placement range:

• Bronze: 101st place and lower

• Silver: 76 – 100

• Gold: 51 – 75

• Platinum: 26 – 50

• Ascendant: 11 – 25

• Immortal: 1 – 10

Once your average performance falls within a specific range, you are promoted (or demoted) to the corresponding league.

Qualification (Calibration Races)

If you are participating in Time Attack races for the first time, you must complete a qualification phase. You need to finish 5 races, after which the system will calculate your initial skill level and assign you to appropriate league. Note on Calibration: Immediately after your initial placement, you may experience rapid league changes over the first few races. This is normal; the system is simply fine-tuning your skill rating to ensure accuracy.

Example

Here’s how it works in practice:

• Qualifiers: In your 5 calibration races, you finish in 12th, 15th, 18th, 20th, and 24th place.

• Placement: Based on these results (average range 11–25), the system assign you to the Ascendant league.

• Adjustment: If you consistently finish between 26th and 50th in your next few races, your average will drop, and you may be demoted to Platinum. However, if you perform excellently in 1st–10th place, you will be promoted to Immortal.

Leaderboards are getting an update!

Balance adjustments and bug fixes

In this version, common issues that appeared after the Showdown update release were fixed, and balance in Pursuit Mode was adjusted.

Pursuit Mode Balance:

• EMP cooldown reduced from 90 to 70 seconds.

• EMP range increased from 20 to 25 meters.

• Road spikes lifetime reduced from 45 to 20 seconds.

• HP recovery at gas stations increased from 25% to 30%.

• Points gain in Zone increased from 3 to 9.

• Points for collecting an object in Zone reduced from 350 to 300.

• Points for hitting a police car with EMP increased from 100 to 150.

Fixes:

• Key binding assignment issue in Pursuit Mode fixed.

• A70 engine swap issue fixed.

• Game closing when passing a gas station with nitro enabled fixed.

• Car transfer issues in Pink Slip Race fixed.

New Mode: Pursuit Mode

Are you ready to challenge the law or become the law itself? In the Showdown update, you will go head-to-head with other players in a new team-based PvP mode, where Street Racers and Police compete in speed and strategy. In this high-stakes rivalry, you will need to prove that your team is the one deserving of victory.

How Pursuits Work

Players are divided into 2 teams of 8. Roles are randomly assigned at the start of the match, which consists of two rounds. Racers must reach a designated area to accumulate points and then deliver them to a garage. Police players will try to stop them. Their goal is to neutralize as many opponents as possible. In the second round, teams swap sides so everyone can experience the unique gameplay of both factions. Police and Racers will differ in more than just appearance. Each side will have its own gameplay features and tools for winning, which we will detail in upcoming posts.

The Showdown update is a major step for CarX Street. We don't plan to stop at just introducing this new competitive mode. We will continue improving it based on your feedback and apply these developments for future updates. Thank you for the time you spend in the game! A bug with livery materials and colors has been detected

Friends, after the recent update we discovered an issue that may cause the materials and colors in your liveries to display incorrectly. We are already working on a fix.

Once the patch is released, all materials and colors will be restored, so you don’t need to make any changes to the affected liveries before it comes out.

What's up, drivers!

We’ve found a bug that can cause the game to crash in certain situations. We’re already working on a fix and will ship an update as soon as possible.

Who’s affected?

Players driving a car that belongs to the Hyper Sonic club.

Temporary workaround

• Restart the game

• Open your phone: press ESC (or Start on a gamepad)

• Select “Change Car”

• Choose any other vehicle

Important

• Until the fix is released, do not use a car that belongs to the Hyper Sonic club

• Do not open the map until you switch to a safe car
