It’s a jam-packed week in CUE, with everything from American Folklore to Raging Rivers on the horizon - but before the full wave hits, we’re giving you a sneak peek at a few standout cards to kick things off.
Tonatiuh
We’re starting strong with the Aztec sun god himself - Tōnatiuh. Known for his golden face, fiery hair, and perpetually worried expression, he’s battled through the underworld time and again just to bring us the sunrise. But that kind of grind doesn’t come cheap - he needed a steady supply of human hearts to keep going. Honestly? Can’t blame him.
60 permanent power is up for grabs if you can weave 4 Exploring the Stars cards into your deck building this week.
Flip-Flops
The sun’s been blazing over here at CUE, and we’re definitely craving a cool sea breeze - but there’s no time to chill. Our latest fancy fashion card has just landed, and we’re racing to get our hands on it. If rainbow decks with a splash of ocean flair are your thing, this one’s calling your name.
Margaret Hamilton
This was one of those “how did we not have her already?” moments - we’re thrilled to finally welcome Margaret Hamilton to the game.
There’s a good chance you’ve seen the picture on the front of this card before, and for good reason. Taken in 1969, it shows Margaret Hamilton standing next to the giant pile of code produced for the Apollo Guidance Computer, so-named “the fourth astronaut” by the three human ones who relied on it - Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins.
Keep it CUE!
A New Batch
Well well, someone’s been good this week… because a fresh batch of Shinies is headed your way! Give a warm welcome to your new Shiny friends:
Amazon River Dolphin, Aries, Fuma Kotaro, Hygge, Japanese Bobtail, Kitsune, Mount Fuji, Ouroboros, Sally Ride, Shiba Inu, Statue of Liberty, and Titanic.
And if you’re on the hunt for those last few copies, swing by the store and check out the latest Shining Armor pack - filled with the newest Shiny drops.
Card Changes
These changes are all about shifting how Energy manipulation is handled on play - mainly to tackle those game aborts players have been reporting.

Calling all PC players (and yes, mobile fans - you’re always welcome too): Adventures is now live on PC!
Step into the action on the big screen as you take on thrilling challenges, battle mighty bosses, and earn exclusive rewards along the way. If this is your first time jumping in, your journey begins with New Beginnings, where the Velociraptor and Narwhal await - featuring brand-new cosmetics and shiny new variants ready to be unlocked.
We’re thrilled to open the doors of Adventures to our PC community, and this is just the start. Keep your eyes peeled - new chapters are on the horizon for everyone, and we can’t wait to share what’s coming next!
Keep it CUE!
Hey folks!
In a smaller offering than usual, we’re changing a total of four cards today - two buffs, and two nerfs. The reasoning behind two of these will be apparent to a lot of players, and we hope it goes a long way to improving your enjoyment of CUE. As ever, we appreciate your feedback in shaping the future of the game!
Without further ado…
Buffs
Neo-Futurism
New Ability
:draw: If your deck has exactly 9 Arts & Culture cards and 7 or more Futurology cards, your cards, wherever they are, gain +20:power: until played.
Change:
We’ve lowered the Futurology card requirement from exactly 9 to 7 or more. While the classic 9/9 split deck is still a fun and flavorful option, freeing up those 2 slots should leave some breathing room for more generic Science buffers.
Uther Pendragon
New Ability
:play: If your deck has 9 or more Arthurian Legends cards, your non-Arthurian Legends cards, wherever they are, gain +16:power: until played.
:return: Your King Arthur and Stonehenge cards, wherever they are, gain +28:power: until played and your Stonehenge card, wherever it is, costs -3:energy: permanently.
Change:
Uther just got a brand-new on-play ability! This adds a lot more flexibility to the beloved collection and opens up fresh options when building decks. We’re especially excited about this one - looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Nerfs
Tennin
New Ability
:play: If your deck has exactly 5 Albums, your cards, wherever they are, gain +10 :power: until played. If it has exactly 5 collections, your cards, wherever they are, gain an additional +16 :power: until played.
:return: If your deck has 10 or more cards from one Album, your cards, wherever they are, lose -26 :power: until played.
Change:
Tennin has been a dominant force in the meta lately, so we’re making a few more tweaks to keep it in check - while still preserving the unique playstyle it brings. The ability has been flipped, so a higher reward is granted for a more granular deckbuild of 5 collections, as opposed to the broader 5 Album previously - hopefully making this less of an essential slot-in for every Rainbow deck.
Python
New Ability
:play: Up to 12 of your random non-Science cards, wherever they are, gain +16 :power: until played. For every Programming Languages card in your deck, give them an additional +2 :power: for 3 turns.
Change:
We’re dialing back how broadly Python spreads its buffs, but at the same time, we want its synergy with Programming Languages to feel more impactful. So, we’re limiting the initial buff to up to 12 non-Science cards in your deck. To compensate, we’re pushing an additional turn for fulfilling the Programming Language requirement for the second part of the ability, in order to bring the card back home in its collection specific deck a little more.
Again, a massive thank you for all your feedback on card balance - it’s incredibly valuable. These changes should be in-game now, and we’re always keen to hear what you think, so keep the feedback coming!
Keep it CUE!

The Networking Terminals bug has finally been shown the door. It overstayed its welcome, blocked a few of you from getting into the game, and generally caused a bit of chaos. We're really sorry if you ran into it - and huge thanks to everyone who reported the issue. Your bug-hunting skills are top-tier.
Alongside that fix, we’ve tidied up a bunch of other gremlins lurking in the menus, matches, and Trading Post. Think of this patch as a general spring clean (but with fewer brooms and more code).
What’s been fixed:
Fixed the dreaded "Networking Terminals…." screen locking players out
Cards no longer randomly decide they don’t want to be clicked
Event Booster now shows up like it’s supposed to in the banner
Event menu scrolling no longer takes you on a detour
Decks stop refreshing when you just changed one thing
"Live" tag no longer parties on old events
Your profile picture now sticks around when you tab-hop
Fixed blank deck screen when entering matches via prompt
Trading Post ability text is no longer exclusively in Spanish
Back button in the Trading Post no longer gets a haircut
That mysterious black overlay after cancelling trades? Gone
Steam achievements now update more reliably – ping!
We always want to hear how things are playing for you. Whether it’s feedback, ideas, or more bugs to zap, drop us a note on our Steam Community Hub or swing by the Discord.
Thanks again for being part of the chaos 💜
Hey everyone!
First off, a huge thank you to everyone who’s jumped into CUE on Steam, shared feedback, and left a review - it genuinely means the world to us and helps more than you know.
We’re aware that some players are running into a “Networking Terminals…” message when loading in, and we just wanted to let you know: we’re on it. This is our top priority right now.
Luckily (for us, not him), AvidJoe has also encountered the issue, so we’ll be poking and prodding him until we’ve got a solid fix in place.
Thanks for bearing with us - and thanks again for playing!
Keep it CUE!
