Hey everyone, this update adds several new ways to follow and experience your league as seasons unfold, including mock draft articles, the ability to watch any game, and a new national tournament selection show. It also includes a few other bug fixes and tweaks.
Major Features:
Added Mock Draft articles throughout the season on 12/13, 1/23, and 3/4, giving you a look at projected draft movement and storylines as the year progresses.
Added an optional Auto Recruit setting for those who just like to watch the league unfold.
You can now watch any game by visiting a team's schedule page or selecting an unplayed game from the tournament bracket.
Added a National Tournament Selection Show.
Bug Fixes & Tweaks:
Adjusted ranking logic to place slightly more emphasis on efficiency metrics.
Fixed an issue where Bracketology articles were not always correctly guaranteeing bids for conference leaders.
Fixed a bug where changing coach ratings from their profile edit page would not properly save after reloading.
Fixed an issue where adjusting player overalls in the editor would not immediately update their overall rating until the next training report was released.
Fixed an issue on season history pages where All-American statistics could incorrectly appear transposed over All-Conference lists.
Replaced unsupported accented characters in certain European names (such as "ć") with standard English equivalents to avoid font display issues.
Bug Fixes & Tweaks:
Added additional protections against a bug where, if your coach was fired, you could occasionally receive no job offers.
Added a scroll bar to the custom database list, allowing you to view all saved custom databases more easily.
Improved UI scaling for 16:10 and ultrawide monitors within the custom database editor.
Fixed an issue where historical national tournament brackets were occasionally being populated with results from the wrong year.
Happy March Madness everyone! Got a quick patch for you addressing a couple of bugs I've been made aware of over the past few days.
Bug Fixes & Tweaks:
Fixed a bug where the expected record shown at the end of the season did not always match the expected record displayed at the beginning of the season.
Fixed a bug where walk-on players were occasionally excluded from initial team rating calculations, which could make it appear that a team regressed during training when, in reality, low-rated players were simply being recognized as a part of the roster.
This update expands the game’s historical tracking systems and introduces a new coach retirement feature. Several new record books have been added to highlight player, team, and coach achievements.
Major Features:
You can now retire your coach during the offseason and continue your career by taking control of one of the assistant coaches at your current school (promoting them to head coach), or by selecting any other active head coach across the league to take control of.
Player pages now display game-by-game stat logs for the current season. Game logs are not stored between seasons, but you can track individual game performances throughout the year directly from the player page.
New league, conference, and team record books have been added for players, coaches, and teams. Records include single-game, single-season, and career categories. Single-season and career records are backward compatible. Single-game records will begin being recorded with this update.
Bug Fixes & Tweaks:
Adjusted draft declaration logic so players are less likely to leave early simply to go undrafted. Freshmen will now only declare if they are projected to be drafted.
Fixed a bug where game logs would occasionally fail to be added to the navigation stack.
Various UI tweaks and minor improvements throughout the game.
Hi everyone, this update brings long-awaited stat tracking improvements for coaches and a few minor improvements to roster management and recruiting logic as well as a few bug fixes and interface upgrades. Changes listed below:
Major Features:
Coach overview pages have been added. Now when you click on the job history button for a head coach you will be taken to their coach overview page which will show their stats, season-by-season history, and ratings.
Coach stat tables now track season-by-season and career stats/accolades for head coaches (backwards compatible, accessible via the stats page).
Minor Features:
Added rating tooltips to the roster page, rotation page, training report, and redshirt selection screen.
Bug Fixes & Tweaks:
Improved UI stutter that would occur when first opening a save.
Updated transfer reason logic so players care more about future playing time. Previously, it overemphasized the difference between expected and actual minutes in the prior season and did not focus enough on projected playing time.
Adjusted expectations logic: low-prestige teams were not being penalized enough in the prior model, occasionally making it too difficult for these teams to meet expectations.
Adjusted recruiting class ranking logic to place more weight on top players in each class.
Hi all, this update is the first in a series focused on expanding the game’s team, player and league history features. A handful of bug fixes and quality-of-life tweaks are included as well. Changes listed below:
Major Features:
The school page player stats screen has been updated to support all historical seasons. You can now view season and career stats for past players who appeared on your team across any year. The layout has also been overhauled to match the design of the league-wide player stats screen.
Bug Fixes & Tweaks:
Fixed a bug that was causing recruit ranking history to be tracked incorrectly. This should now be accurate moving forward.
Adjusted the custom non-conference scheduling UI to make it clearer which games are non-conference.
Added a back button to the new game setup screen.
Increased the maximum number of allowable schools in custom conferences to 384.
The plus/minus stat is now tracked across multiple seasons. Previously, this value was wiped at the end of the season.
Hi all, this update introduces a couple of long-awaited customization tools, giving you full control over editing players, coaches, and staff mid-save — plus a brand new database editor to help you build your own custom leagues from scratch.
Major Features:
You can now edit player, coach, and staff attributes directly within an ongoing save. Player edits are accessible from both the Player Overview page and the Settings screen. Coach and staff edits are available from the Settings screen.
A new database editing tool has been added to the main menu. This allows you to create and edit your own ready-to-play custom database files.
Bug Fixes & Tweaks:
Added player positions to box score stat displays.
Added protections against a bug that was allowing fired head coaches to be immediately rehired by the same team.
Fixed a bug where the player stats filter panel would occasionally only show team stat filtering options.
Added additional protections against a bug that caused fired coaches to receive no job offers.
Fixed an issue where school page player stats would occasionally only sort in ascending order.
Added protections against a bug that occasionally caused the game to open in a tiny window on startup.
Fixed a bug that caused teams who exceeded their conference prestige cap to have their prestige frozen.
Updated the prestige cap logic to give high-prestige conferences slightly more cushion.
On a personal note: I started a new job a couple of months ago, which has limited the time I’ve been able to dedicate to development, so progress has been a bit slower than usual. That said, I’m still actively working on the game whenever I can. The next update will likely focus on expanding the game’s player, team, and league history features. As always, I very much appreciate your patience and continued support.
Hi all, glad to announce the next content update is finally out. This update is primarily focused on expanding the game’s stat tracking features, along with a few performance improvements and minor bug fixes. Details below:

Player stat history is partially backward compatible for pre-update saves, team stat history will begin being tracked with this update. To note: when viewing career/all-time stats by conference, only the seasons a player or team spent in that conference are included.
Player stats can now be viewed in the per-game, per 40 minutes, or totals format.
Stat filters. The player and team stats pages now include a filtering feature.
New bracketology update articles are now automatically generated after game days 1, 15, and 30.
Alumni player pages. Former players now have their own profile pages, which show their accomplishments and stats.
Bug Fixes & Tweaks:
Made conference prestige caps slightly less restrictive.
Improved load times between offseason stages.
Improved performance on the class ranking page.
Fixed a bug where the date on the progress bar popup wasn’t updating during multi-game simulations.
Fixed scroll sensitivity being too low on the team history panel.
Updated the default database start year to the 2025–26 season.
Hello everyone! This update expands the game’s long-term depth with the introduction of conference realignment, giving your league room to grow and evolve over time. The update also brings a number of new features, quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes and UI refinements. Changes listed below:
Major Features:
Conference realignment. Conferences will now shift and evolve over time with new teams rising up the ladder. Each offseason, you’ll have the option to manually realign teams across conferences. Additionally, conferences will automatically realign based on your selected frequency (automatic realignment can also be turned off if desired). You are also able to “lock” specific conferences to prevent them from gaining or losing teams during automatic realignment (accessed through the settings menu).
Prestige cap system. School prestige is now capped based on the prestige level of its conference.
New conference prestige recruit instance. Recruits now weigh the prestige of your conference when evaluating your program.
Neutral site tournament games. Conference and national tournament matchups now take place at neutral locations for added realism.
Recruiting class rankings and the conference that the team was in for a given season have been added to team history pages.
Conference & National Tournament Logos. Add conference logos to your logo packs by placing PNGs in a subfolder called “Conferences”. Name each file after its respective conference (e.g., Atlantic Coast Conference.png).To customize the national tournament court logo, add a PNG named National Tournament.png inside a new subfolder named “Misc”.
Bug Fixes & Tweaks:
Adjusted Top 25 ranking logic again to better emphasize team quality and schedule strength; rankings are now slightly “stickier” day-to-day and factor in net rating more heavily.
Fixed CT labels on the dashboard schedule when teams had a bye week.
Redshirt players now correctly count toward class totals in the "Team Needs" popup.
Fixed a bug where training progression wouldn’t save when injury rate was set to 0.
Safety checks have been added to handle post-season job offers more reliably and prevent a save-busting bug that would occur if you were fired and received no offers.
Fixed a bug where advancing a week could leave a previously injured player stuck in an injured state if you were viewing the rotation chart while advancing.
Fixed the school page schedule not updating when advancing weeks.
Various small UI/navigation improvements and polish.
