We have released a new patch for Campsite Hustle! This update focuses on Warehouse and Delivery Station improvements, vending machines, trash and cleaning behavior, NPC queues, UI indicators, achievements, and localization fixes.
As always, thank you for the reports. Some of these issues were small, some were pretty annoying, so we wanted to clean up a bigger batch with this patch.
We reworked the Firewood Station mechanic because the previous flow was not as clear or comfortable as we wanted it to be. To make the process simpler and easier to understand, we added a new tool to the Tool Bench: the Axe.
From now on, all you need to do is equip the Axe and chop the firewood that appears on the log at the Firewood Station. This should make firewood production more direct, readable, and smoother during gameplay.

Added clearer indicators for several customer-related structures.
Fixed an issue where the “Water you Doing?” achievement would not trigger.

Best regards,
Today’s update is one of our first comprehensive updates for the game. We mainly focused on three important improvements:
A new Stacking System for easier carrying
The new Delivery Station to make product supply more convenient
A renewed Tutorial and Guide System for a clearer early-game experience
Alongside these, we also made improvements to Build Mode, vehicles, quests, NPC behavior, audio, and fixed many bugs.
Carrying boxes and construction materials one by one could become tiring, especially in the later stages of the game.
You can now stack boxes and construction materials of the same type. This makes stocking your shop, carrying orders, and building new structures much faster and more comfortable.
The new Delivery Station structure has been added to the game.
Instead of buying products from town every time, you can now order them directly to your campsite. When your order is ready, the alarm system will notify you, and you can pick up your products from the delivery area.
This system was added to make product supply much more practical, especially as your business grows.
We reworked the tutorial flow to help new players get into the game more easily.
Quest descriptions, objectives, and popup explanations have been made clearer. We also added special triggers to reduce unnecessary waiting during some tutorial steps.
For example, events such as injured campers, trespassers, wild animals, and saboteurs can now trigger in a more controlled way when the required conditions are met.
The Guide system has also been expanded. Some structures that could be confusing, especially cabinets, refrigerators, and freezers, are now explained more clearly.
Destroy Mode has been added.
The Build Mode UI has been adjusted to take up less space while placing objects.
Some camera stuttering issues in Build Mode have been fixed.
Fixed cases where Build Mode could be opened in incorrect areas.
Placement, moving, and destroying now feel more controlled.
Material carrying and quick placement flow have been improved.
Vehicle door interactions while holding materials have been improved.
Resource panel pages and product count displays have been adjusted.
Quick slot behavior has been improved.
Crosshair warnings are now clearer.
The game will now continue running while in the background.
Tutorial quest flow has been made more controlled.
Starting money has been increased.
The second land price has been adjusted.
In-game day length has been set to 20 minutes.
The required duration for the “Nature-Friendly Business!” achievement has been reduced from 14 days to 5 days.
Customer littering behavior has been rebalanced.
Better trash bins will reduce the chance of customers throwing trash on the ground.
Customer behavior related to only choosing checkout structures has been adjusted.
The raccoon may now appear around the campsite even when there is no trash nearby.
A separate volume setting has been added for vehicle sounds.
Tool sounds and some environmental sounds have been adjusted.
Fixed shower sounds being heard from too far away.
The Delivery Station alarm sound has been changed.
Several vehicle interaction issues have been fixed.
Adjustments have been made so canisters stay more stable in vehicle cargo areas.
This update also fixes many issues. Some of the notable fixes include:
Fixed the Trash Burner not unlocking in the Research Tree.
Fixed Delivery Station and Warehouse orders not counting toward quest progress.
Fixed an issue where buildings could not be placed in the final campsite area.
Fixed some fences remaining after purchasing certain areas.
Fixed hammer animations not playing on showers and toilets.
Fixed showers not getting dirty.
Fixed the Delivery Station tooltip getting stuck on screen.
Fixed incorrect interaction UI triggering while the Delivery UI was open.
Some icons in the Build Menu have been updated to be clearer.
Cleaner worker behavior has been improved.
Menu buttons have been adjusted.
Trash size has been reduced.
Fixed several shop and campsite placement issues.
With this update, we wanted to improve the early-game experience, product carrying, the supply system, and the overall comfort of playing Campsite Hustle.
Thank you so much to everyone who sends feedback, reports bugs, writes reviews, and supports the game.

• Welcome to another devlog. This week’s main focus is the new Research System, but we’re also bringing in the Workbench, tool changes, a dirt and damage system, some visual improvements for buildable plots, and a few extra tweaks. Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve been working hard to make the core gameplay loops feel tighter, clearer, and more fun. Let’s jump in!🙂
• Previously, progression was mostly about earning level points and leveling up. Higher levels unlocked more valuable products, passive income buildings, and decoration options. The problem was that it could feel a bit old and linear, and it didn’t clearly show players what they were working toward.
• So we’ve shifted that idea into Research Points. You’ll now earn Research Points through many different actions, not just leveling. Selling products, selling camp tickets, collecting trash, and even handling special customer situations we’ll introduce later will all contribute.
• You’ll spend these points by building a Research Desk, which unlocks a new UI where you can unlock almost everything in the game. It’s not completely unlimited, but you’ll have much more control over what you unlock first and how you shape your progression.
• We also streamlined the tool system. There were too many tools doing very small jobs, so we removed less meaningful ones like the shovel and rake, and reorganized the tool set to be more effective and purposeful.
• We also wanted to solve the “lost tools / zero durability” frustration. Previously, you had to go buy a new tool. Now, with the Workbench, all tools live in one place. If you lose a tool, you can grab a replacement from the Workbench. And if a tool’s durability gets low, you can place it on the Workbench and have it recover over time.
• Passive income buildings like toilets, showers, saunas, and more can now get dirty and take damage over time. You’ll need to clean and repair them regularly. If you ignore maintenance, passive income can stop completely, so upkeep is now a real part of running your business.
• The system where you clear natural obstacles on purchased plots to create building space already existed, but we improved it visually to make it feel more satisfying.
• We simplified obstacles into two main types: trees and rocks, which also made it easier to remove unnecessary tools. We also added grass coverage so buildable areas feel more natural instead of flat and empty.
• And yes, when you place a building, the ground under it changes and the grass disappears. It’s a small detail, but it makes the environment feel much more alive.
• We increased the variety of passive income buildings, so your business will feel like it’s growing and evolving over time.

Best regards,
• After last week’s devlog, we’re back with a brand-new one. With your support and motivation, the game is getting better every single day. If you want to help us reach a wider audience, it really means a lot when you like, comment, share, and add the game to your wishlist. Also, we highly recommend joining our Discord so we can stay in closer contact. 🙂 • We also have some great news: the game name change and the store page visual updates we mentioned last week have been approved. We’re really happy with it, and the game now looks much clearer and stronger from a marketing perspective.
• This week’s main focus is two big updates: Sign Customization and the End of Day system. Let’s jump in!
• We finally expanded the sign customization system in a big way. When you build your shop, you’ll start with a default sign, and with one click you can open the customization UI and design your perfect storefront sign.
• The best part: everything in this system will be completely free and unlimited. That means from the very start of the game, you’ll be able to create amazing signs without restrictions.
So what can you do?
10 different sign types, with fully adjustable colors
10 customizable font styles
100+ logos, emblems, patterns, and other visual materials
All U.S. state flags and many country flags
• Until now, the game progressed with a realistic, continuous time flow, without a sleep or day-ending feature. That’s changing.
• At the start of the game, you’ll be able to stay at the town Motel for a small fee. Or, if you prefer, you can spend some time and money to build a wooden cabin near your business and sleep there instead. We also plan to make the cabin customizable so it feels like your own place. We just need to create a bit more furniture and interior items first.
Here’s how the day flow works:
You start the day at 08:00 a.m
At 12:00 p.m, the day “closes” (time pauses)
After that, no customers arrive and work pressure is gone
You’re free to spend time however you like: organize, decorate, prepare, and plan
When you’re ready to start the next day, you simply go lie down in your bed
• Once you go to sleep, you’ll see the End of Day screen, which shows a daily summary of your business. This screen is still being refined, so some stats may change and new ones may be added. We’ll lock it in after more long-term testing.
That’s it for this week. More updates are coming weekly, and if you want to follow development more closely, feel free to join our Discord! https://discord.gg/6vqU9XpJrU Thanks for reading!
Best regards,
• We’re back after roughly a two-month break, and we’re excited to talk to you again and share what we’ve been working on. Two months ago, we released the Campsite Hustle demo during Steam Next Fest and received a ton of feedback from you. We want to say thank you once again for your interest, support, and help. • We should be clear about one thing: these updates are not part of the current demo, at least for a while. Once our core content and mechanics are fully locked in, we’ll release a new demo update with much longer playtime, a more free-form experience, and no tutorial, so you can just jump in and play.
• Since then, we’ve focused on the most requested improvements and a few new core systems. Here’s what’s new!
• Because plots are large and the game will feature more buildings over time, the old building flow started to feel cluttered. We’ve now added a new top-down Build Mode, inspired by The Sims-style placement.
• Building and customizing your plot is now faster, cleaner, and more fun!
• The demo shop felt a bit too large as a starting point, so we redesigned it to be more minimal.
• You can now choose from 4 shop sizes:
Small, Medium, Large, Huge
• We also added two visual styles: wood and concrete. They work the same, but look different. This will also support our upcoming paint and material customization feature.
• To improve interior design, we added more modular wall pieces so you can create rooms and corridors inside bigger shops.
• Some players thought the game was a “camping simulator,” and that’s on us. Campsite Hustle is a business and management simulator, so we’re updating the name to:
"Campsite Hustle! - Management Simulator"
• We’re currently working with Steam to apply the change, and it should appear on the store page soon.
• We’re also preparing updated store artwork, including a new logo and new character designs.
• We removed the separate cash and card balances. There will be one balance type going forward. • We are removing the inventory system and moving tool management fully to quick slots.
Starting quick slots: 5
Upgradable up to 9 via the upcoming Research system
• The yellow generator from the demo has a new, more stationary model.
• All structures now have updated construction skeletons and build-area visuals for the new build mode.
That’s it for this week. More updates are coming weekly, and if you want to follow development more closely, feel free to join our Discord! https://discord.gg/6vqU9XpJrU Thanks for reading!
