Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the Winter Festival event!
Ever since the game's release, the most common dislike that we've been hearing about has been that the game requires a lot of attention, especially for an idle game. We're trying to address this through this update by adding an Auto-Play feature, which will let Chef Cafe handle things automatically as long as you let the game running!
I've done my best to balance things so that the Auto-Play is fairly suboptimal so as to not completely make playing the game manually pointless, while still having it able to build up a satisfying amount of rewards if you want to take your entire focus away from the game for a while.
I sincerely hope this will let more of you wonderful people enjoy the game to the fullest! 🍵 🐦
Thank you all again so much, and have a wonderful day!~

Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful time!~
Today's version is just a little tiny patch, as it was brought to my attention that the newly-added Holly Wallpaper wasn't working properly, and the game would essentially confuse it with the Snow Wallpaper. This issue should now be fixed, and so both of those wallpapers should now work properly!
Since the issue was caused by some broken data in the Holly Wallpaper's game files though, the fix I had to make means that anyone who had previously unlocked it will need to unlock it again unfortunately... The Snow Wallpaper should be fine though!
I'm very sorry for any inconvenience caused by this, and thank you all so very much for playing our humble little game!~ 💖
Have a lovely day everyone! 🐦

The Winter Festival is imminent! Here are the patch notes for the persistent changes coming alongside the event:
Added a whole bunch of new Winter-themed decorations
You can now move your wall decorations wherever you like on the wall! (I'm still working on getting it to work properly for floor decorations, sorry!)
Event-themed decorations will now be marked their event's icon for clarity, and decorations for an ongoing event will be displayed first in the list
Hi! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!~
Here's another little patch as I keep trying to address as much of your wonderful feedback as I can!
One of the most requested features since the game has come out was to have a way to pin specific birbs to the top of the list, and I'm happy to say this feature is now available in the game! You can click on the little star icon on your birbs to add them to a separate list of "Favorite friends" which will always appear first in the list!
It was also often mentioned that it would be nice if the game showed a specific feedback whenever your cafe ran out of food so that you can easily know when to refill your stock, and this feature has also made it into this patch! There will now be a prominent bubble over Chef Cafe's head to prompt you to purchase a new batch of snacks and drinks!
Another very common issue has been for the game view to move out of reach when it was accidentally resized too large, and this patch also includes an attempt to resolve this. When resizing, the game will now automatically attempt to adjust its position so as to always keep its top bar within the screen. I hope this will help everyone who has been experiencing issues with this, and I really appreciate your patience while I resolved this!
Added a Favorite button on birbs, to keep your best birbs at the top of the list at all times!
Show an icon prompt over Chef Cafe's head when all out of food
Prevent the game from moving out of view when resizing
Show available gacha tickets in the gacha screen
Fixed the accessory buttons not refreshing their state properly when collecting rewards
Small UI improvements and bugfixes
Thank you all so much once again for supporting our humble little project!

Hi everyone! We've got another small patch for you!
Since one of the game's core elements is to level up your birbs to have them stay longer in your cafe, we've decided to make a small change which should help make the game's idling gameplay more satisfying: your birbs now keep eating on their own until they're completely done eating everything! You don't have to claim every meal's rewards for them to order their next meal!
This means that the rewards for meals can now accumulate over a single invitation, to be claimed at any time! This change should let you feel more comfortable leaving the game run on its own for longer before coming back to claim your rewards!
Thank you all again so much for your support, and have a lovely day!~

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a wonderful day!~ I'm so happy that people seem to be enjoying the game so far! But a few issues have been reported and I want to do my absolute best to resolve as many of them as I can so that everyone can have as much fun as possible! There are still some improvements I'm actively working on, and I'm still looking into the reported bugs about the game view going missing for some people, please stay tuned for more updates!
New Game Speed option in the game's settings*
Optimization in the UI code (to hopefully resolve some of the lags and freezes reported by some players!)
It is now possible to directly remove decorations
Improved click detection for collecting meal rewards
Fixed an issue causing some recipes to be unintentionally unlocked by default
Small UI and animation bugfixes
While some people have been enjoying the rather quick idle timers in the game, some players very understandably have mentioned they would prefer if the game required less active interaction. I figured this might be due to personal preferences, and I worried that rebalancing the game with a single play style in mind would always leave some players out of the fun. So as a first step towards improving the idle aspect of the game, I decided to add a setting so that everyone can play at their own pace!
This is just a first step, and I still have a few other general improvements in mind to improve the idle side of the experience for everyone though, so please stay tuned for that as well!
