Greetings Buttoneers!
First of all, I'm sorry to inform you that the content update had a small issue for users who wanted to use the 'Continue' button within the main menu.
After the update, the users who picked "Continue" from the main menu, ended up to Gnome Wood -level, which had some of the features available that were supposed to be only within the new world (Kings Button).
This update will fix the issue for the users who use the continue button from this point on. Users who has already used the continue button, see information below:
Your prestige progress is saved (Game currently features 4 playthrough prestige upgrades)
If you have not yet completed the Gnome Wood level 4 times, you should now do that through the 'New Game' button and by selecting Gnome Wood.
The amount of prestiges you've completed so far, is saved and will not be wiped if you select the new game (Only way to wipe the prestiges is to use the reset data in the menu)
You can use the 'New Game' button in the menu which will take you to world selection screen
If you already used the 'Continue' button after the update, unfortunately that caused the game to start the Gnome Wood level (your previous save) with SOME of the features that were supposed to be only in the Kings Button level.
(Your game will look like this, if you've pressed the continue button after the update. The powerups will spawn, but there is no powerup user interface in the left bottom corner. Also, the prices of the upgrades is much higher, which was supposed to be only in the Kings Button -world)
If you're interested to hear how this bug happened, see below:
New datapoint was added within the update called "currentWorld"
that datapoint was set (by default) to "king" which was not intentional
The users who pressed the "continue" button - jumped into their old save, but because the new datapoint "currentWorld" was added, it took that default value for it "king"
Which caused the game to continue where you left off within your save, but the "king" features were turned on
This causes the save data to be "corrupted" with the wrong "currentWorld" value
Only way to get through this is to start a new game: But this won't wipe your prestige progress (the amount of times you've completed the game)
The long waited Buttons Up! content update is finally here!
New World: Kings Button
Powerups (accessible in the Kings Button -world)
Laser Cannon (to help you fight against the tough Royal Gnomes)
New Achievements (ex. The Master of Buttons)
Supporter Pack DLC Update: New Gnome! (50% OFF to celebrate the content update)
The Announcement of Buttons Up! 2 (Popup window will appear in the main menu)
The Kings Button -world is now available in the "New Game" section. Keep in mind that the game allows only one save slot at a time. The continue button in the menu will continue that specific world, where you left with!
The Powerups drop randomly from the Royal Gnomes. It's quite fun to try stack the powerups to unleash an army of Gnomes at once. (Better prepare the Laser cannon for that)
The Laser Cannon is now available as a prestige to help you challenge the new Kings Button world!
Be sure to Wishlist Buttons Up! 2 on Steam as well! <3
Greetings Buttoneers!
The long waited update for Buttons Up! is coming soon™!
It will feature the world selection screen. In this first update, I'll deliver one new world but the intention of this approach is that this is how we add content to our beloved button collecting game!
WORLD AFTER WORLD! <3
The first update will feature the "Kings Button" - world. And that specific world has it's own gimmick:
The update will soon be available, but I want to make it feel more nice and polished before releasing it.
Also, be sure to join our (small and growing) Discord for further discussions!
Hey Buttoneers!!
There has been people asking when the next update for Buttons Up! will be available and unfortunately, I need to say the traditional SOON™.
Since before this, I'm going to release a new game!
I'm happy to announce the next clicker game I'm about to release:
Seeker Shrine is a stress free clicker game with catcha egg hatching system. Run your own Seeker Ranch, take care of your creatures and collect resources to unlock new Seeker creatures!
On release, there will be 15 different creatures to be collected:
6 Rare creatures
6 Super creatures
3 Legendary creatures
I hope to see you wishlisting the game, but also to play it on release! If you do, please consider leaving a review <3 It would help a lot to gain more exposure on Steam and to show the game for likeminded clicker -players.
See you on the ranch!
Did you enjoy Buttons Up? Because if you did, you may be interested in my latest creation: Dune Rancher.
Dune Rancher is an incremental strategy RPG where you collect resources, build your Dune Ranch and fight against the intruders. Just like in Buttons Up! - It's stress free. The least that can happen, is when the intruders steal your resources.
Other than that, it's a calm and relaxing small game about automating your ranch with machines, factories and even by growing plants.
Here is the trailer for you to check out:
Greetings Buttoneers!
Delivering a small update to address some of the reported issues (Thank you for doing that!):
Clicking a Button Pouch should not play a sound now if you have the volumes turned off
When completing the game the fifth time, you are no longer told that you get more unlocks
When screenshake is disabled, clicking a Button Pouch no longer shake the screen
Volume settings are no longer reset when completing the game
Hope to see you playing the game! The bigger content update will come later, once we have all the bugs squashes from the current game! (Right now it seems that we are ready for that!)
Delivering a fast & small update to address some reported issues!
First implementation to remove the sound from clicking the Button Bag when effect volume is turned off
Added information to Button Drop how many buttons are spawned when using it
Thank you very much for reporting the issues so far and please keep them coming! Also suggestions to how to make the game better are more than welcome. <3
Happy buttoning everyone!
Greetings!

New Feature: Button Pouches!
Pouches appear randomly after you've reached at least level 1 base, but also everytime you succesfully upgrade the base.
Bug Fixes (Thank you for reporting these!)
Unlockable content was possible to purchase even without completing the game
Some of the Tech Tree upgrades had weird prices
Here is how Button Pouches work:
Once they appear, you can start the gathering process by clicking the pouch
Once you do, keep on clicking as fast as you can to receive more buttons once it is destroyed
Every successful click to flashing Button Pouch increases the amount of buttons you'll obtain
See video example below
Key features:
Smack Gnomes
Collect Buttons
Save & Load system (to continue where you left off)
Automate Button collecting
Get bounty bonus up for smacking gnomes
Unlock new accessories and features by completing the game
Relax while listening the original soundtrack
I would love to see you playing the game and remember to leave a review if you do! <3
All the best,
Klaus 'The Jester'
