Hi everyone!
Today comes a big update focused entirely on the card system.
I've redesigned the card system from scratch, adding over 400 new cards across several rarities:
Common
Rare*
Legendary (two different types!)
*On top of that, rare cards reference popular anime and video games, which I hope you'll enjoy finding and recognizing.
The cards from the previous system have been removed to make way for the new content. But don't worry: I've created a compensation system that takes into account the cards you had before, giving you a bit more luck on your next drops during the first few days. My idea is for you to enjoy the process of unlocking the new cards yourselves, rather than me just handing them all to you.
This new system has been designed to be easily expandable, so in the future I'll be able to add new cards and even new rarities if needed. For now, the card system is complete as you see it.
I'm already working on a new cosmetic DLC that will change the look of your restaurant. Right now I only have placeholder images, but I'm leaving the link here in case you want to add it to your wishlist already. It'll be a DLC equivalent to the Halloween one, already available in the store:

🆕 New cosmetic DLC:
I hope to release it in one or two weeks.
Thanks as always for your support, and enjoy unlocking cards!
Send me screenshots of your favorite cards, I'd love to see them!
Hey everyone!
I just pushed an update that adds gamepad support to Burgie's Cozy Kitchen!
I'll be honest with you all, figuring out the "right" control scheme has been surprisingly tricky. There are so many ways to map things, and what feels natural to me might not feel natural to you. So please don't expect this to be perfect right out of the gate!
That said, I'd love for you to give it a try and let me know what you think. Some things that would help a ton:
Does the current button layout feel intuitive?
Any actions that feel awkward or in the wrong place?
Anything missing that you'd expect from a gamepad control scheme?
One thing to note: the ESC menu currently doesn't have gamepad support. The settings menu was designed with PC/mouse-and-keyboard in mind, and adding gamepad navigation there was getting complicated fast, so I decided to leave it out for now rather than rush it. If I ever do a console port down the line, that menu will be reworked specifically for that.
To be clear: these controls are not final. This is very much a work in progress, and your feedback will directly shape how I tweak things going forward. If you've got suggestions, criticisms, or just general impressions, I'm all ears (and genuinely excited to hear them)!
Thanks so much for playing and for helping make Burgie's Cozy Kitchen better.

Hello everyone! This is a new update focused on improving the gameplay experience and responding to your feedback.
I’ve been working for quite a while to reduce as much as possible the discomfort some players experienced while moving around the kitchen.
In this update I’ve made several adjustments:
General control fluidity has been improved.
Controls have been slightly adjusted to make movement feel smoother and more gradual.
You can now change the floor color to lower-contrast tones, which helps reduce motion sickness.
If you previously experienced motion sickness, I’d love to know if this version feels more comfortable. Any feedback about movement or controls is very welcome.
In Relaxed and Pomodoro modes, time is disabled so players can focus on preparing dishes and enjoy a more relaxed experience.
Some players didn’t notice when the delivery rider had arrived, and since this character is time-based, it could negatively affect their ratings if not served in time.
To fix this:
In Relaxed and Pomodoro modes, the delivery timer will not start until you interact with an object (pick up or drop something).
This gives you unlimited time to notice their arrival without unfair penalties.
Many players requested more control over the pacing of Frenetic mode, especially the option to space out orders more (for example, every 2 or 3 minutes).
Although this feature already existed through another mechanic, it is now better explained in-game:
You can close the restaurant gate between orders to take a break, reorganize the kitchen, or prepare for the next customer.
Thank you all for trying the game and leaving feedback. I’m still reading everything to keep improving the experience.
In a few days, around July 13th, I’m planning to officially leave Early Access.
This update won’t add brand-new core content, since the game has already been evolving gradually throughout development. However, I would like to use this moment to introduce a few special customers to celebrate the release.
That’s where you come in!
I already have a few ideas of my own, but I’d love to hear suggestions from the community. The goal is to make the most of the current mechanics by creating new types of interactions. ideally, a single mechanic that can be used in multiple creative ways.
What kind of special characters or unique customers would you like to see in the game? I’d love to hear your ideas!
Some examples:
- Annoying kid (backward cap): It rings the bell, and wants you to ring too.
- Critic (Sofisticated glasses): Any fail will become a 0-rating.
- Paranoid (tin foil hat): Wants you to build the burger in front of him.
*Note: Even though the game will be leaving Early Access, I may still add more content in the future. I’ve noticed that the Early Access label can sometimes create confusion about how much content a game actually has, so I wanted to clarify that.
Hello! I’m still cooking up improvements in Burgie’s Cozy Kitchen, and today I bring a couple of new features that I’m sure you’ll enjoy, especially if you’re one of those who love a bit of chaos. I keep thinking about mechanics that could have good synergy with the rest, and one I just couldn’t leave out are stains — especially with all the sauces around and how common it is to spill things all over the floor.
Here’s what’s new:
Floor stains: Now sauces and tomatoes will leave a stain on the floor when they fall. Watch out where they end up! To clean them you’ll need to buy kitchen paper, which adds a little extra challenge to your daily management.
Smoother experience: I’ve tweaked several functions to make everything feel more fluid and natural, from the controls to interactions with customers. There are new complaints for different actions, and customers will now react with better judgment. Once you play, you’ll definitely notice the difference.
I’m very happy with how everything is evolving. Thanks for continuing to play and support the development. Although the bulk of the game is already done, whenever I feel like picking the project back up you’ll keep getting new updates to keep things fresh.
I’m still at it, little by little! 💪

Hey! As summer gets closer, I’ve been working on wrapping up a few things in Burgie’s Cozy Kitchen before taking a bit of a breather. The game is almost done (we’re getting there!), but I wanted to leave a few fun updates ready for you to enjoy in the meantime.
Here’s what’s new:
New sauces! I’ve added a handful of new sauces to keep things fresh and tasty. Each one has its own vibe and mechanics, and I hope they give you more room to experiment with orders.
Special customers with unique outfits: Outfit system is joining the mix! Customers will show up with different clothes, modifying their tastes and behavior. It adds a bit more personality and challenge to each shift.
Secret customers to discover: There are now a few hidden customers in the game. If you find them, their names will appear and you’ll even be able to use them as a skin. It’s a little extra fun, especially if want to show up on any stream with an unique skin.
New achievements: I’ve also added some achievements that tie together all the new outfits and special customers (plus a few other surprises). If you enjoy completing challenges, there’s more to aim for now.
I’m really excited about how everything is coming together. Thanks so much for playing and following the progress. Your support genuinely keeps me going. I can’t wait to show you the final version soon!

Hi everyone, I’m Nau, the developer of Burgie’s Cozy Kitchen 🍔
It really warms my heart to see the game reach players from so many different countries. That’s why this past week I’ve been focused on preparing localization for the languages I’ve seen most in the community.
I just released an update that adds full support for 8 new languages:
German
Polish
Turkish
Russian
Ukrainian
Japanese
Chinese (Simplified)
Korean
So far the game was only available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese — so now there are a total of 13 languages available!
I did my best to translate everything well, but some languages are completely beyond what I can handle. If you play in one of these new languages, would you be up for telling me how it feels? I hope everything works smoothly 😅
I’d also love to know if your language is among these new ones and if adding it was useful. It makes me feel closer to the people I’m making this for 😊
And if you see any text errors or anything odd, please let me know here on the forum. It’s the only way I can find out, and you’d really help me fix things quickly so more players can enjoy it well.
See you in the kitchen!
Thanks for playing 💖
