Hello workers!
Trash bins now fill up, item handling is smoother, trays are easier to prep, and customers react more accurately with new voice lines and tip bonuses. Difficulty has also been overhauled: easier for beginners, more challenging for experienced players, and more rewarding for skilled work.
Cleanup is no longer instantaneous. Kitchen bins and customer receptacles now fill up gradually. If a bin hits 100%, it’s blocked until someone deals with it. Don’t let it sneak up on you!
Interact with a full bin to pull out a trash bag, then haul it outside to the dumpster to clear the bin and keep things moving.
You can now place single items from a held stack, letting you prep or arrange things one at a time without juggling the whole stack.
Holding items and aiming at a stack? You’re in control:
Grab the whole stack without putting down your items.
Or merge the aimed stack into your hand.
Preparing a tray for customers is now smoother. Grab a tray and right-click items to add them while holding it. Or continue placing items onto a tray on the counter the old way.
We’ve adjusted the difficulty settings: easier for beginners, harder for experienced players, and more rewards for skilled play.
Faster service now earns extra tips. Speed pays off!
Trainee: Customer patience doubled, making the easiest difficulty more forgiving.
Supervisor: 10% more customers than before.
Manager: 35% more customers than before. Harder, faster, and more chaotic.
High popularity now brings even more customers, rewarding your skill at keeping the restaurant busy.
Higher difficulties grant more money, with bonuses visible when creating a game.
Customers aren’t just shouting their happiest lines for every order anymore. Their reactions now actually match how well you did. Mid-quality orders trigger a whole new set of “that’s fine” voice lines, while perfect orders unlock the extra-happy reactions and fun new popup comments above their heads. And with the new tip system, playing well doesn’t just feel better, it pays better too!
You can now open and close boxes or packages while holding them.
If a tray has a receipt on it, you can hover over the tray to see the order. No need to aim directly at the receipt anymore.
Bun halves can be reassembled, you can now put the top and bottom halves back together.
You can now adjust the volume of all customers voices in the audio settings.
Now when you level up, a pop-up appears in the center of the screen, celebrating your progress.
The little crow trinket on the counter is now interactive. Give it a pet and hear it croak!
You can now press E while looking at the counter monitor to accept orders instantly. No need to aim precisely at the accept button.
If you leave the delivery truck empty without sending it off, it will eventually leave on its own.
Monitors now display the monetary value of each order before tips.
Flipping patties now has a flip sound.
You can no longer touch patties on the hot grill with your bare hands.
The monitors on the counter have been refreshed with a cleaner, nicer look.
Loading screens have been updated to look better and display information more accurately.
Popups now appear if you try to overfill a container or throw away items that can’t be trashed.
You can now place objects on the counter next to the kitchen sink.
A radial loading bar now appears when using the car to leave.
A message now appears if you fail to join a friend via Steam.
Fixed a bug where slices could be removed from a prep pan but not placed back in.
The game now runs correctly if you (or the Host) alt-tab or switch to another window.
Fixed translations for customization choices and in-monitor text. All supported languages are now properly displayed.
Fixed an issue where changing graphic settings mid-game would cause broken textures (aka “hellmode”).
After deleting a save, the buttons for creating a new multiplayer game now appear correctly.
Fixed a bug where you sometimes couldn’t host a new multiplayer game after closing another without restarting.
Tables now always correctly count as cleaned when you remove the tray and customer payment.
Trays no longer pass through items placed on the table.
Wrapping paper stacks now display the correct size in multiplayer.
Fixed a bug where some customers would remain in the restaurant overnight and appear the next morning.
Customers now play their sitting animation even if you serve a tray before they reach the table.
The displayed graphic settings now correctly match the active settings in-game.
Trashing all items on a tray now correctly removes the receipt display from the UI.
The popularity icon now stays consistent across day changes instead of resetting.
Coffee cups no longer fill while the machine is still grinding.
The text chat now appears and disappears at the correct times.
The first-person camera at the back of the restaurant now shows the correct perspective.
You’ll no longer see your own name floating above you, while other players can still see it.
The game now correctly selects your audio output device.
The customers are waiting, don’t keep them hungry!
Hello workers!
This update brings control where it matters. Unwrapping burgers, smarter menus, multi-carry slices, tools that finally keep up with your hustle.
You gave us the feedback, we made the moves. The kitchen runs cleaner than ever.
You can now unwrap and re-wrap burgers whenever you need to. Whether for inspection or fixing a quick mistake. No more one-way wraps; handle your burgers freely.
Grab and carry several slices (lettuce, onion, pickles) at once. Stop juggling one ingredient at a time. Move faster, prep cleaner, and keep the workstation moving.
Hover a receipt to instantly see a visual preview of the order in your inspection panel. Quick reference, less confusion, faster service.
When a customer is about to lose patience, a side-screen alert shows who they are, which table they’re at, and how much time’s left. You’ll know exactly who’s about to leave before they storm out.
The pause menu now shows every connected player, their ping, the current day, and the selected difficulty. Hosts can manage connections and kick players if needed. Better info, more control.
Tutorial videos and Post-its have been rebuilt and expanded. The shop now shows storage hints for every item, and refrigerated products display a snowflake icon when hovered.
Clearer systems, easier starts, and fewer small mistakes for everyone.

Player name tags now display for everyone nearby. No more perfect aiming to see who’s who.
Chat now shows join/leave messages.
The inspection panel now shows what’s inside each Prep Pan. No more generic names, you’ll see the actual ingredient.
Customers now tip a little higher.
Fixed and refined several tutorial ping translations.
Added a confirmation popup when quitting or returning to main menu. Prevents accidental progress loss.
Reduced duration of customer complaint popups slightly
Fixed invisible ingredients when pressing E + LMB/RMB in multiplayer.
Fixed soda cups not displaying the contained soda type after adding ice.
Fixed bug where placing a full bread bun while its placement indicator was red (due to collision) caused the top bun to disappear, leaving only the bottom bun in hand.
Fixed mid-day joiners being able to order items unavailable to others.
Fixed objects staying highlighted after being grabbed.
Fixed issue where bun bags (and similar items) could be placed over burger wrapping papers without collision.

Update’s live. Hop in, test the new tools, and keep the kitchen tight!
